I”m interested in downloading this theme, but want to make sure that it is still supported if I have any trouble customizing it. Is it still actively supported?

I used this theme to upgrade one of my customers from a similar theme by Justin Tadlock and didn’t realize it hadn’t been updated in 2 years. Anyway everything is working ok except when the site displays on the phone the header compress left to right is there a way to fix this?

This is a beautiful, highly functional theme but I want to modify the CSS a bit so I’d like to create a child theme with it. Oddly, I’m having problems setting it up as a child theme, so was wondering if it is even possible.
I keep getting the error message: “The parent theme is missing. Please install the “Unique” parent theme.” and the Unique parent theme is already installed.

I’m using the “Unique Theme” and a couple of days ago the “Submit” button for use when leaving a comment has disappeared.

Any hints?

sometimes, after 2 rows of posting the pictures and information, the alignment of the posts are changing. The post is getting aligned to the right, don’t know how to correct it. can somebody help ?

The navigation menu at the top of my website has drop-down menus that appear when you hover the mouse pointer over them but those drop-down menus do not show on an iPad. The buttons that have drop-down menus are also links to other pages as opposed to having their links be “#” that would just reload the current page.

I am interested in Unique, and am exploring a nice clean theme for my client. As the site will contain many pages, I will have to group them into categories. Does Unique support multi-level menus?

I really like this theme, but I have a problem. When I insert Google Adsense ads, it breaks the theme, distorts the display of headers, makes links unclikable etc. On a minimal look, I could find that the theme uses the same class and/or ID that Adsense uses. I tried to change it in child theme, but it seems they are used in minified css and also in a .s file.

I would like to request Mr. Tadlock to rename all the instances of such css thingys that are in common with adsense to make lives happier all round!

Hi, fantastic theme! I just love it, clean and workable, great work.

I am working on an Italian site, so I need it translated. I have mo/po files and everything is fine… EXCEPT for the loop nav ‘Previous’ & ‘Next’ posts.
I checked the translations, and it’s all there. But in the loop nav it still showed ‘Previous’ in English.
I found the .php for this: loop-nav.php, translated it there, and now it’s OK.

But shouldn’t it be handled by the language files instead?
I’m worrying about updates changing that php file…
My ‘new’ loop-nav.php is in the child theme, won’t be overwritten, but what about the rest of the coding in that file? I just took the entire file and uploaded it in my child theme, after translating the 2 words.

Hi,
I made a Child-theme of Unique on my server and it worked great!
Now that I have uploaded my child theme, I cannot get the chosen layout to stay.

When I go to into Appearance/Customize/Layout and set the layout to “Two Columns, Left”, save it, then go to view it, the setting is not saved and it appears as one column.

I changed the theme to the original Unique and I can not get it to save the layout in there either (so atleast my child-theme did not cause this problem, yay!).

Hi there! How can i activate the slider? Thanks a lot.

In explorer and firefox the theme looks ok, however in chrome I first get white space, and need to scroll down in order to see the actual blog.

Any thoughts?
