It would be incredibly nice if this theme had a configuration option to present snippets only on the front page with some kind of “read more” button for each post. Many visitors wish to skim through headlines for something interesting.

For some reason I am unable to get the pages widget to show up, any other widget I set up works fine except the pages widget. Any suggestions?

What do I do to set the header not to display its eye-catching thumbnail?

I love this layout, but for some reason there is a thin black outline around the title and tagline. It doesn’t show up when I use their default image, but no matter what image I upload it still shows. Does anyone know how to get rid of this. I need it simple. This is all new to me.

I have my header picture up and it is 960 pixels by 390 like the theme suggests. But, when I load it up in Chrome.. it shows black lines around the image so that it’s not full screen on the top. My site is https://evenmore.davethemonkey.net/ Any way to fix this? Thanks.

I apologize for being new and possibly asking a really stupid question. I really love this theme but as far as I can tell it doesn’t have permanent landing pages? Is this the case or am I just making a nube mistake?

When I have my wordpress dashboard up, I have two permanent landing pages created; a home page and an about me page. Both are not showing up on the website when I publish it. Just wondering what the issue is.

The header displays weird outlines around the h2 and h3 tags for title and description (or perhaps it’s the skeleton divs?) but it appears to be the h2 and h3…

I have tried adding the following css to the stylesheet but to no avail:

div, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, h1{
outline: none;
}
*:focus {
outline: none;
}

the outlines remain and they are totally making the design unusable!

please let me know if you are seeing the same problems and if you have a solution.

The title says it all… How do you hyperlink the damn header image? No option to input URL or automatically link to home/index…

Is there a simple way to do it – am I missing something? Or do I really have to edit the header.php and CSS elements?

I’ve just set up a flickr account and copied the photostream link into the Flickr widget and tried the widget in every sidebar and every position but the pictures won’t show up, just two white dots on the right edge of the widget box.

What am I doing wrong?

I am currently trying to redesign my website and can’t seem to figure out how to get the header at the top of the page to stop changing each time I go to a different page. I just want it to stay the same as the homepage header.

It is currently showing up any featured image I have for that page in the header.

Could anyone help me please? I would really appreciate it.
