Greetings,

I have one of my pages set as a static page at: https://www.haroldglascock.com but as you can see on the right hand side I have interference in descending order from the entries: Archives b) Meta C)Site Admin and D) Log Out.

I want to remove all these entries on all my pages. Unfortunately, I deleted the original full width ‘Sample Page’ not knowing at the time that I could type over it ad nauseam to achieve my desired end result.
I believe I have disabled most of my sidebar widgets so this leaves me thinking that I have to fix this by cutting out code. Can you advise exactly which code I have to cut please.

I managed to change the menu hover and menu item background colour but can’t seem to change the active menu item background colour.
I have tried
#menu-main li a:active {
background-color:#83CAED;
}
But that did nothing.
Am I targeting it incorrectly?

I can’t figure out how to change the favicon showing up on Firefox from a capital “T” to my own favicon. I have tried copying my favicon.ico file over the one in themes (where the source code for the page appears to be getting it from … themes/typal-makewp005/img/favicon.ico”). I’ve also copied my file to the base directory. No luck. What should I do?

The theme says it supports 3 menus. however i have created a footer menu, added pages and checked the ‘footer’ location and it does not seem to want to appear on the site. I tried checking ‘sub menu’ also and that wont show either.

I checked the Typal demo site and that doesn’t show any other menu’s than the primary menu so I’m not sure whether it works or not?

Since I uploaded the header image I created through the dashboard, I can’t seem to find a way to call the image and make it mobile responsive in the css.

Also, perhaps taking a look at the “home-text” that reads “Call for an estimate today!” That needs to be mobile responsive as well.

Lastly, the CTA buttons I created at the bottom of homepage — anyone know how to do a hover state w/new image?

Firstly, thank you for making this great theme.

After creating a child theme with the style.css, the contents of #home-tagline disappear. They show in the source code, but do not display.

When I made the Child theme, I created the style.css file that imports the parent theme style.css file. I copied the contents of /css/ to the child theme and referenced typal.css and reset.css in the child style.css.

First of all, this is a terrific theme! I’m really loving it so far. Here’s my problem. I’ve successfully created a child theme – changes to files in the child theme’s root folder are applying to the parent theme just fine. However, when I try to edit files from the parent’s subfolders (example ../css/typal.css), the changes are not carrying over. I created a css subfolder in my child theme’s root directory and a typal.css file, but I’m guessing there’s something else I need to do.

I use the Typal theme (typal.makewp005), but from the beginning (since I downloaded this theme) the default header doesn’t appear. There is no header at all. When I try to upload my own header, it doesn’t appear either. I wonder if someone can help me with this?

I have a problem with the Sticky Posts at the top of the page above recent posts. If I make the posts sticky they become not clickable and cut off some of the content.
I would like to be able to have someone click on the title or “read-more” and then link through to a complete article. At the moment completely static?

Any ideas to help sort this out?

I’ve just downloaded the theme and was busy editing the home page. Unfortunately the header image isn’t completely showing. I’ve uploaded an image 1020x450px, but still it is showing only the bottom part of the image. Does anyone know how to fix this?
