Awesome basic theme for a blog. It comes with a nice sidebar with widgets without too much distracting bells and whistles in other blog areas. To make it fully what I wanted I customized some css, added a few plugins, and I have a fully blog running in 4 days. Fantastic theme.

I use it for some projects where I need a clean “default” style with sane CSS rules.
I’ve also used it in several client projects since it’s easy to understand the internals of this theme. It’s very basic but extensible.

Too many WordPress themes these days seem to waste a lot of space and/or cause readers to scroll unnecessarily (huge headers, lots of empty space, fonts so big you could see them a mile away). Twenty Twelve is different, it focuses on the article content without needless distractions. I absolutely love Twenty Twelve! Please keep updating it as long as possible. It is 5 years old and still one of the best WP themes available. Kudos to the Twenty Twelve designers!

Blog post comments could be much better if we had the option to hid/show ‘related’ posts and ‘Author Profile. All this makes long posts look even longer and messy and unnecessary, in my opinion. MORE important…. the LEAVE A RELY link would be better at the BOTTOM of the article – where people stop reading and want to comment. (Not have to scroll back over along blog post to find the link) I would like to fix this (tried) but the support forum links are all going to error pages.

I used it on Sangrado implantacion But finally I switched to Ados simple one too. I use twentytwelve on my personal blog, I relly love this theme.

I have used this theme so many times as it is still the easiest to customise as a developer, whilst being the easiest to use and understand by users.
I test the newer 2013 to the latest 2016 themes but keep coming back to 2012 theme, it is just one of those ‘got it right’ WP themes.
I just hope the WP developers continue to update 2012 (now v1.9) as they continue to update and develop WordPress.

De las webs y blogs en wordpress, para mi los que siempre me han gustado más han sido aquellos que son blancas y simplistas con minimalismos sin ningún tipo de complicación y que por lo tanto también se pueden cargar rápido. Actualmente la uso en mi pagina web sobre teléfonos inalámbricos y es una genialidad saber que si alguna vez quiero cambiar el estilo del blog o tal vez poner otro tema, siempre voy a dejar este porque es uno de los que nunca se rompe.
Además con algunas cosas como los teléfonos de casa es bastante interesante ver como los usuarios prestan más atención ya que todo es blanco.

The wheel was basically reinvented in twentythirteen-twentyfifteen. Twenty Twelve was (and still is) where it’s at in regards to minimal CSS. The best for learning about themes and the best for child-theming.

De los temas que WordPress propone por defecto Twenty Twelve es sin duda mi favorito. He realizado ya varios proyectos relacionados con la televisión online y con aplicaciones móviles para ver tv (como splivetv.org) y siempre he usado este theme inicialmente. A medida que el proyecto avanza es necesario incorporar funciones avanzadas de las que Twenty Twelve no dispone, y suele ser necesario cambiarlo, pero para mí es el mejor theme para inciar un blog en WordPress y para usar durante los primeros meses de vida del mismo.

I build child themes for most of my clients’ sites, as [Link redacted]. Twentyten and eleven were good to build on, but the responsiveness and clean palette of twentytwelve make it my new platform of choice.

Estoy pensando en montar otro blog relacionado con la música, grupos musicales poco conocidos y otros aparatos relacionados con el mundo del audio. Actualmente tengo un blog sobre auriculares inalámbricos y me estoy planteando la utilización de este tema para mi nuevo proyecto.
Veo que tiene mucho éxito y que casi todas las reviews son postivas.
Me pregunto si es fácil hacer landing pages con este tema, ya que me gustaría invertir algo en publicidad y necesito una página de aterriza decente.
