Is there a child theme available?
]]>The demo for the Lite version of this theme has a feature that displays EXIF data as an overlay on the photos.
Hovewer, I can’t get it to work on my localhost test setup. I’ve already checked that the photos I’m using have their EXIF data intact.
]]>Hello,
I’ve just installed Tography Lite. This is a fresh install on localhost, without any active plugins yet.
On activation everything looked fine, but when I went on to create a new post or page, typed something on WP’s text editor and saved, a pink warning pop-up label appeared saying that a file located at /wp-content/themes/tography-lite/css/custom-editor-style.css had failed to load.
As soon as I saw the warning I rushed to that folder to see if the custom-editor-style.css file was indeed missing. And it is. ??
Some of the photos I upload to a gallery do not work properly. The photo will be there but the photo data will not and there is a message such as following…
Warning: Illegal string offset ‘aperture’ in /home/rachelfa/public_html/wp-content/themes/tography-lite/templates/content-portfolio-single.php on line 153
Warning: Illegal string offset ‘image_meta’ in /home/rachelfa/public_html/wp-content/themes/tography-lite/templates/content-portfolio-single.php on line 156
As I said, it is only on some photos not others, and I can’t seem to figure out why.
Any suggestions?
]]>* Create a Portfolio Page
First you have to create your posts with a featured image and create a new Category to use it as your Portfolio Category.
All posts with this category will be shown as portfolio items.
Once the category is created you have to select it as Portfolio Category in Admin Panel>>Appearance>>Customize>>Theme Options>>Portfolio Category
.
Then create a new page and use the “Portfolio” page template under Page Attributes.
* Add images to a Portfolio item
For adding image to a portfolio item just create a gallery and add it to the post, the theme will do de rest.
* Theme Options
All theme options are in:
Admin Panel>>Appearance>>Customize>>Theme Options
* Social Menu
Using the social nav menu is just like using any other nav menu in WordPress. You just need to add custom links pointing to your social media profiles.
So, the first step would be to create a new menu under the “Appearance > Menus” screen in the WordPress admin. To add custom links to this menu, use the “Links” box. Just make a link to the social media profiles you want to display.
And, for the last part, be sure to select “Social” for the “Theme Location” before saving your menu.
* How to get the PRO version of Tography Lite
