I am using a static front page as my landing page and my blog is titled “news.” I am trying to figure out how to remove the slideshow from the posts page. On the GMO Show Time page, I have “HOME,” checked, but the slideshow WORDS ONLY (NOT THE PHOTOS) is also appearing on the posts page. I need to fix it so the photos show, or remove it all together from the posts page. Help!

How in the world do I add more than one URL to the carousel so that I can actually have a slideshow and not just a static image appear in the GMO Showtime plugin?

I want a slideshow with different text for each slide. I only need about five slides.

Hi, I spent some happy hours this afternoon looking at all Tidy’s options – really impressed.

Is there some way of changing the position of the merit boxes on my home page, so they appear BELOW the Welcome page (a static page) ?

I don’t want to mess around in your code if I can help it, although I do develop in PHP.

How do I change the font size of the menu?

Can’t find any guidance on how to make the menu font smaller so all menu items fit on one line (www.mareilledwars.nl)

I cant access all the THEME OPTIONS because of a php bug, in APPAREANCE >THEME OPTIONS, the error shows this message after ABOUT WP SHOP:

Hi there,

I would like to change the size & font in the menu and for that I believe I should use the GMO Font Agent API. I have installed this plugin and am trying to follow the steps to connect the API to the plugin/theme. However, I get stuck at step 4, there is no “Registered apps” option in the sidebar on the left

4. In the sidebar on the left, select Registered apps.
5. Select an application.
6. Expand the Browser Key or Server Key sections.

Please advice on how I should proceed.

My blog posts are showing up on the Home page as tiled images. I really want full individual posts, 6/page.

I’ve tried various options under appearance…Theme Options…Layout Options, but I clearly haven’t hit on the right combination. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Love the look of this theme… My goal is to insert text (a text box?) instead of the merit box area on the home page (responsive layout). I thought the “Static Front Page Area” would be the correct setting, but Nothing seems to change when I select “on” or “off.”

How can I remove tags from posts?

My plugin SEO by Yoast doesn’t work.
It IS there, but I can’t do anything with it. If I click it in a post, it does nothing. If I open its settings, it just wants me to register to translate it but no other buttons comply with anything I do.

I would like to remove the comments section from all of the pages on my site –

I only want commenting on the blog posts that appear on the main page.
With another theme, I created a “no comments” php file, but:

1) I don’t see a “page templates” folder to put such a php file in, and
2) I’ve looked at the tidy index.php file and don’t know how to edit it such that there is no comments section. Please help.

How do I get some margins along the edges of the pages? The words on my left margin are right on the edge and it looks funny. There is a little more room on the right, but it is still close.

Where do I make the menu size smaller and is there a way to center the menu items instead of them being aligned right? Also, is there a way to make the drop boxes have round edges?

My main menu at the top is to big and I would like to reduce the font size, also when viewed on different browsers it chops the right hand side off and turns into a scroll bar.

I would also like to reduce the amount of space the footer takes up on the page if possible.

I am not very good at HTML though!

Can you recommend a good way of getting the 3 columns to space out that are still responsive.

In settings, when I’m selecting from the choices of icons for the merit boxes there is no preview. Is there a setting or view that I need to adjust?

I have to save the settings and view/refresh the site each time. With so many icons to choose from, this is very time consuming.

Can you tell me how to use the Layout Settings. I can see them under Theme Options but can’t work out how to apply them to the pages of my website. Thanks!

My Header Title and Copyright text does not follow what I typed after saving. After I typed in the texts, all the punctuations and the spaces were removed.

Are there some conflicts with other plugins? How do I resolve it?

I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to change the styling on the different headings? They are all black and the same font and I’d like to give the page a more dynamic look.

2. How can I add padding to the body so that the text doesn’t butt up right against the left side?

For both of these, I’ve tried editing the CSS file, but I get an error message that editing is not allowed.

How do I increase the excerpt lengths for posts?

I upload the logo from the panel but it doesn’t appear… with others themes there is.

I am using the Types and Views plugin with the Tidy theme, and I receive a JavaScript error any time I attempt to use the plugin’s interface to insert a shortcode.

The JavaScript error is:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined

This error references the file /wp-content/themes/tidy/admin/js/options-custom.js?ver=4.0.1

I think it is an error in the Tidy theme files because when I switched to the TwentyFourteen theme, and was able to use the plugin correctly with no JavaScript errors.
