I just moved my site from http to https everything works fine except the logo is still
loading over http. I’ve changed the logo image but still shows a mixed content problem. Any suggestion?

The slider images are not automatically resized when displayed on smaller screens like tablet or mobile phones. Any suggestion?

Since changing our website’s theme to Terrifico, the ‘Submit’ buttons don’t show on the contact forms unless they are hovered over.

How do I fix this?

I’d like to add a feed from my Facebook page to my website on the Homepage. I can’t figure out how to do this. I’ve tried adding short code to my footer/header, adding short-code to different sections of the theme and trying to somehow link it to the latest news section in my theme settings. I can add a link to one of the Footer widgets, but it doesn’t display nicely and ends up just appearing as one long column that unbalances the rest of the site.

It seems like it should be a fairly easy task…where am I going wrong? ??

I have a broken link to an image on the home page but can not change the image url. I have went through the media library found the image but can not find the missing link.

Hope someone has some answers.

Hello,

I am fixing a friends site that was developed by a previous person and need some assistance.

1. The home page is missing the dashboard section. The pages shows fine to the public. The menu shows home page but nothing else. I need to edit the homepage to change the “Read More” buttons because I can not find them in the theme customize section.

2. Also, there is a page marked private but when I click on it, nothing happens. I have no option to edit it or see what it is.

I’d like to add an Instagram feed to my home page on Terrifico, but can’t find an ideal way to do it.

I don’t want to have it as a widget in the sidebar and it doesn’t look good stuck in one of the four column footer widgets.

It doesn’t seem possible to add it to any of the home page sections…

Could I easily create a separate footer widget (or another widget area somewhere other than the side bar)? I’ve had a look at the available plugins to do this and none seem to fit the job/my expertise. I have very limited skills in this area so something simple and straightforward would be great!

I need a help to remove the “Terrifico Theme powered by WordPress” from the footer of Teriffico theme .
I checked the theme Footer.php file, but there no detail of Power by WordPress is given .
So please help me located which file I need to Update for that.

Quick question regarding an issue about the number of files being imported into our host.

I’ve been directed by the developers of a plugin which we use to import our eBay listings into WooCommerce listings to consult with the developers of our theme (Terrifico) to determine if there is a setting which is inflating the number of images which are being imported into our media library.

Essentially, it appears that every image we’re importing from eBay seems to produce about 10 versions of itself. So, let’ say we import a listing from eBay with 12 images, we end up with about 120 images per listing.

Problem is we have about 22,000 or more listings… resulting in excess of 2 million files being imported. You can imagine how difficult this would be to manage and how it would be impossible to back up the files, or to somehow go through and delete unused files…

So, we need to know if this is a function of Terrifico, and if so, how do we modify this?

I’m trying to copy my wordpress website to WAMP. When I change the live website URLS from “www.livesite.com” to “localhost/myproject” on the WAMP version of my site, I get a simplified site that just looks like a series of posts. Did the Terrifico theme break? Is there a setting that can be changed somewhere in the Terrifico theme files? I’ve spent hours of searcing, but still no luck. I narrowed the cause of the change to the wp_options tables which, when the URLs are changed in phpmyadmin, causes the change. To make the matter more frustrating, I am unable to get to the back end. When I try to go to “localhost/myproject/wp-admin” I get “This site can’t be reached” on Chrome.

NOTE: When I leave the wp_options tables with the wrong url I get redirected to the old site (“localhost/myproject/wp-admin” becomes “www.livesite.com/myproject/wp-admin”) and the home page looks correct (with a few images not showing and a few links misdirecting to localhost/whateverpage instead of localhost/myproject/whateverpage).

My slider images have stopped displaying correctly… all of the sizing changed. Even if I change the size of the image and upload it again it reverts to the incorrect sizing.

I have looked at the documentation and have tried css fixes I’ve found online for other themes but cannot get anything to work?

Any ideas on how to disable the sticky header?

I have a page with regular text (paragraph) and some unordered list. When I change the body font size when cutosmizing, the unordered list will change its font-size, but the paragraph font-size stays the same. It seems like it has default font size and I can’t change it.

If you have some hints how to change this, I would be grateful.

My slider images have suddenly started displaying incorrectly. They look fine in editor, but when I look at the front end of the site the sizing has changed and the images are being cut off at the top.

What text options come with the gallery portfolio items besides the rollover text, or is it photo’s only?

How can I make the black border change to the dimensions of the content?

When I have a lot of text within the page, the box outline is correct, but when I’ve only got 1 paragraph, it stays a certain distance from the text. It’s like there is a minimum height property for the container, but I can’t figure out where it’s located.

I have our logo set up in the navigation through customization. The Logo looks great on desktop but when zoomed in or on mobile the logo then takes up the entire screen. Is there a way to fix this?

I have successfully set up a home page slider on my site, but when viewing this on a desktop/imac and scaling the browser window, the images on the slider do not scale accordingly and so some of the text in the images gets cut off.

Please can you explain how to maintain the scalability of slider images?

I hope this will help some people. It frustrated me for a while and I couldn’t find anything else posted about this so here goes. Perhaps it may be relevant to other Sliders and other themes:

Symptoms

When logged in to wp-admin the slider works fine. That is, looking at the website running on a new tab, while logged into the wp-admin dashboard on another, I can see the slider working and cycling through the slides I specified.

When logged out of wp-admin and viewing the live site, I found that only one slide showed up and that was it.

Solution
———
The posts which you have set to category ‘slider’ to be included in the slider when it runs, ALL OF THESE NEED TO BE SET TO ‘PUBLIC’ rather than ‘private’. If they are set to private then they won’t show in the slider if you are not logged in.

I’ve been struggling with the quality of the images in my slider. The slider is not our theme slider, it’s the one added by inserting shortcode inside the page content part. Since it’s the shortcode, I dont think it’s Terrifico’s issue but I seriously have been googling for hours trying to figure this out on my own and I really really can’t find anything. No matter how good quality the images I upload have, the slider ALWAYS show me images with really low resolution. I tried different file formats, different pixels and image sizes, and also made the pixels to match the slider width & height – nothing helped.

This is the code:

If I already made the image 600 x 300 pixels, there shouldn’t be any resizing needed. What did I do wrong? The images look really AWFUL! Can someone please help?

I made the Logo centre aligned with following CSS:

    margin-right: 0;
    font-size: 40px;
    text-align: center;
}

Primary menu can only be aligned left or right. Any idea how to centre align the primary menu?
