I am experiencing problems with my websites. I use Tempera theme and Jetpack (both plugins updated with last versions) and I have observed that when I add a picture Gallery to any page, if I use Jetpack Carousel as a lightbox, everything runs fine until I leave the lightbox to return to the gallery, then I can not scroll the page up or down. This happens both in PC and Smartphone. Links work as expected, only fault is I cannot scroll the page up nor down until I reload the page. My suspect is some kind of incompatibility between Jetpack Carousel and Tempera theme.

I used other carousel / lightbox plugins and everything works fine, but these plugins were discontinued, so I returned back to Jetpack function, but have this problem. Can you help me? Thank you !

I am using the Tempera theme. I noticed that new post were not showing on the front page since the last update.

So I turned off the presentation page option. This did not help. The same old presentation page showed up, still without the new posts.

So I changed themes to see if that would help. All of the other pages showed the new theme, but the front page was still as it was, with the old theme, presentation page, new posts not showing.

I dumped the cache multiple times during this process, both the site cache and my browser. Nothing helps.

Before I try deleting the theme, I wanted to check here to see if others were having the same issue. I noticed that I could access the dashboard from other pages, but not from the front page.

Is there some way to fix this, or should I just be glad the site works at all, and hope the next update fixes it?

Title says it all: Version 1.8.1 and PHP 8 throws error:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Undefined constant “_CRYOUT_THEME_NAME” in MYWPSITE\wp-content\themes\tempera\admin\customizer.php on line 12

Suggested fix: move the define( ‘_CRYOUT_THEME_NAME’, ‘tempera’ ); line from tempera/functions.php to tempera/admin/customizer.php (top of script). Tested and it works.

The slider images of the presentation page are not displayed on Google Chrome nor Microsoft Edge. Nevertheless the images are well displayed on Mozilla Firefiox.

This site is running on PHP 7,4 but my hosting company is discontinuing this version and when I switch to the PHP 8,0 it has issues. I can’t utilize the pr?sentation page settings.

I’m using the amp version of tempera for my website. The menu doesn’t expand, so I put a footer menu. But when I switch from Italian to English, it cannot find the page. This not happen in the desktop versione. Anyone can help me? Thanks a lot.

After struggling with plugins, I came to the realization that it was the Tempera theme that was generating these errors. Doesn’t happen when I switch themes.

1. A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.

2.The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received (http_request_failed)

Hi, I am having great trouble trying to add a new slider image. I have uploaded it and selected it via the Tempera settings menu. The first time all went fine. Then I changed the image in gimp, gave it a different file name and went through the process of uploading it and adding it via Tempera settings. The old slider image remained in place, despite me refreshing the browser. I then deleted the old slider image and as a result it showed no image (even though it was pointing to my newer image.

Now if I view the page in Chrome, it still shows that a slider image is missing. If I view in firefox, it has placed the second slider image in place of the first.

The text is correct, but I can’t make the slider image change to my desired file. Any ideas?

In the latest version of the theme the link to a custom url from a picture does not work anymore. This happened after updating to wordpress 5.4. Looking for the cause, I was told it must be a plugin. After a number of weeks of trying deactivating each and every plugin with no success, I decided to try a rollback my Tempera theme and all of a sudden the links to urls work again. So the page mentioned above now functions normally (clicking on the dog’s picture to go to a page about the dog), but only because I am using version 1.71 now.
Is this a known problem for the latest version and what would be the problem if I just do not update Tempera again?

I was wondering if I could get some insight into why my images appear too pixelated when I upload to the homepage. Also, I am not sure how to access the slider and replace the third image on the slider.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I’m creating a website for an international project and will have the site translated into 7 different languages.

I’m using Polylang to create pages for each language and I would like to have the home page (the Tempera page) in each of the different languages. However, when I change the tempera settings, this changes the intro page for all languages (even when I have the language filter set to a specific language and the language is indicated in the URL).

Is there a way to achieve this ?

I’m having a huge problem with the new version as it relates to the Home/Presentation Page. I have an older version and its fine. The new version, not so much.

The issue is around the Home/Presentation Page. If I choose static page for some reason I lose the Main Page Slider, if I choose Latest post the columns are not right.

Also, under > Pages, I don’t see the “Home – Front Page” on the new version.

Please advise.

I can’t figure out why the paragraph text is so tiny on a phone. Is there a way to change the responsive size text?

Tempera only gives an option to change sizes on big screen.

The tempura theme used to run without a glitch but now I get the folloeing error when going to all Plugins page:
Uncaught Error: Cannot unset string offsets in …/wp-content/themes/tempera/includes/tgm.php:545

Funny thing the error does not occur when listing only inactive plugins.

Any help would be appreciated.

For me, it seems, that links inside a blockquote-element are not clickable? If I remove the blockquote-tag, then the link is clickable again?!!

Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi – post titles appear on left , over the post image – how can I center them? (I temporarily used <center> in post Quick Edit. Does the job, but can be seen in the post lists.

I tried a couple of Custom CSS fixes in Tempera Miscellaneous section, but no-good.

Looks like shortcodes are not supported in the “Custom Footer Text” for this theme. It appears that some of the other themes from this author do have support for this.

Any idea how to add this feature to this theme?

some files of this theme contains space in name of files on this below path:
tempera/admin/images/schemes/

Please remove spaces from filenames, because it causes a few problems on Linux servers.
