Hi, I was checking out Symphony and noticed some PHP warning messages when I was using the customizer:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in E:\UwAmp\www\beaver\wp-content\themes\symphony\theme\class-symphony-customizer.php on line 190
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in E:\UwAmp\www\beaver\wp-content\themes\symphony\theme\class-symphony-customizer.php on line 579
I am using PHP 7.1.1 on Windows 10.
Regards,
David
]]>I’ve got the secondary child theme activated and haven’t done much editing yet. When I click ‘customize’ under Appearance the preview area displays this text:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/bridgearts/www/www/wp-content/themes/symphony/theme/class-symphony-customizer.php on line 190
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in /home/bridgearts/www/www/wp-content/themes/symphony/theme/class-symphony-customizer-theme-helper.php on line 573
Would be grateful if anyone could explain why this is happening. It doesn’t seem to affect the editing at this point but don’t want to get heavily into updating my site to find this theme is going to be problematic.
]]>I’m using the Symphony Theme by Slocum for a site and have the secondary child theme activated. One thing I would really like to change is the link behavior – instead of underling when hovering, I’d like the text to change color or some similar effect. I don’t see an easy way to do this in the customize area section for the theme and would apprecitate some advice on how to do this.
]]>I create a portfolio page with all the projects and it works (using portfolio shortcode jetpack). But if I want that portfolio page as the main (first) page then the following text is shown “Your Portfolio file has no entries yet” (my translation form Spanish language). ?Could I have a portfolio page -with all projects- as initial/first page? ?Why if the page is linked in a menu it works but if it is selected as main page it didn’t shown the projects (with an error message)?
