Just in case anyone else is still using this:

I’ve used this theme for many years, but it just crashed when I upgraded to PHP 8.0.28.

It still works with PHP 7, at least was for me.

Sad, I was fond of this theme. Oh well, time to move on.

Hi, I am using Sugar and Spice for my personal site and I cannot figure out how to get the menu text labels to justify left instead of being centered on the button. I don’t like the effect in the drop downs.

I am trying to check my them and I am getting a long list of errors and the WP De Bug msg. I cant find any information on this nor the other issues I am having with this theme. Please let me know how I can fix it. I am only finding this after realizing I cannot access the change of gravatar as previously posted. any help with this would be great. Thanks!

Not sure that it will be in the link provided it only happens when i share my page. It reverts back to the invisible/black guy. I have been struggling with this for about a year and have had several help from IT. Can someone tell me why this is happening.

I really wish I could figure out how to adjust the width of this theme, but since I can’t, I need another way to make my images appear larger. It’s a photography blog, and right now my photos are pathetically small. There’s a margin between them and the edges of the page and at the very least, I need to get rid of that margin. Again, ideally I would expand the width of the page, but I haven’t had any luck finding a way to do so. I’m also not a huge fan of the shadow underneath all the images. Does anyone have any solutions to offer? thanks (:

Does anyone know if there’s a CSS code I can use to adjust the overall width of the theme. The content is currently at 600px and I believe the sidebar at 300px.
But I would like the content/posts pages to be wider to perhaps 800px so when I upload my pictures the size is at least 800px.

This theme hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.

The page margins were so narrow it was difficult to read such a long document, so I put the content all inside of a table to widen the margins. However, this breaks the responsiveness of the page. Can you please give me a way to widen the margins of the page contents? Or is there another container I can use that allows for better readability on a mobile device?

I went to that line of code in functions.php but there’s nothing to change/alter… in WP’s functions.php.

Is there anything that I can do, theme editing wise, to fix this error? I really like this theme and don’t want to have to find a new one to use as a result of it being broken due to being 2ish years since an update. I’m really rusty when it comes to playing with code to make it work and would like assistance/direction.

I have some security concerns for my wordpress site and would be so very grateful for advice! I am using Wordfence, and saw today in Live traffic, that I am constantly being “attacked” by IPs mainly from Russia, but other countries as well. Especially Russia, it says about scanning my site about author page etc. I chose to discourage my site from being found by search engines, at it is a fully private site and password protected, only given to selective people. I am very concerned about all the robots, robot txt etc, and need my entire site and all my pages from being indexed/ I am not familiar with the procudure and will be ever so thankful for help! I need my site to be accessible for those to whom I send my password and otherwise neither to be indexed nor found. Could someone please help me?

I have a bilingual site which is linked through two wordpress accounts that mirror each other. I put the same page break code in both websites: <!–more–> to break the blog post where I want it to be.

Italian version: Works correctly and shows a full picture on the homepage: https://italicanakitchen.com/it/

English version: Only shows the small square and not the whole photo: https://italicanakitchen.com

The English version however works for the email that is automatically sent out with the full photo and page break in the right spot. That being said, I can’t figure out why it doesn’t work on the website correctly when with the email list it works fine.

I got this error message every time i clicked on “Publish”: “This request has been denied for security reasons. If you believe this was in error, please contact support.”

I have updated all my plugins, themes (am using Sugar and Spice Child Theme) and am using the latest version of WordPress.

I have a FB site that I post to and am having issues with the feature image. I have a feature image on all posts however when I post a link to Facebook it pulls the image that is in the body of the post, not the featured image. If there is no image in the body, it will not show an image at all even if there is a feature image.

I’m very new to css and am trying to adjust the overall width of the theme.

I am happy with the sidebar’s width, however I would like the content/posts pages to be wider to perhaps 800px. The box that covers the content and sidebar I would like to move out on the left and the right side to almost cover my computer screen, leaving no wasted space on the sides.

I need some help on changing the colour behind the logo thats is transparent from white to another colour as for the logo to stand out. Only need the colour to be in the logo/header and not the main menu area.

I use the Sugar and Spice Theme and on all my entries it is possible to write a comment. It is not a plugin but I guess that this theme is born wiht this contact form. And I like it accept for one thing: the titel.
