For some years I’ve used Suffusion in various version numbers, and had developed a “hack” to get it to suppress the WordPress/Suffusion generated document title on a particular page – one page of my site uses a plugin to populate genealogy information to that page, so each time the page is shown for a different person from the genealogy software, the page has a different document title on it, but Suffusion/WordPress has already generated a document title.
The source code contained 2 titles – one from WordPress/Suffusion and one from TNG (the genealogy software). The Suffusion/WordPress title came first and so was used by the browser, and the google etc indexing bots.
In Suffusion 4.4.8 I altered the actions.php file to change the
function suffusion_set_title
to test if we were on the genealogy page, and if so, then don’t output any title at all. That way the title generated by the genealogy software became the only title on the page, and so showed in the browser bar and to search engines.
I updated to Suffusion 4.5.7 a while ago, and have now somehow lost the ability to make that change – I can’t find where the document title of the page is being set – there is no
function suffusion_set_title
now. It is somehow called in filters.php on line 670, but my coding skills are pretty limited and I don’t understand what’s going on.
There is no instance of

in the entire Suffusion package that I can see to even start figuring out where the document title is generated.
Can anyone help me with where to make the change that tests if the page_ID is that of the Genealogy page, and if so, don’t output a document title?
Thanks
Roger
Hello, congratulations on this awesome theme!
With “responsive layout enabled” and “Resize header foreground images (logos) proportionately” (as only options set), I see the header image only partially and on the specific first link provided, the embedded youtube video is also cut off.
Are you able to indicate where I have to make changes, and which ones?
For the second website link provided, I would like to know how to adjust the width so that the site fits the mobile device screen.
Thanks in advance.

The link above looks fine on a PC, but is truncated on a smartphone in either orientation. I’d like the image to expand to the edges of the screen on horizontal orientation. Header foreground image doesnt show up.
Using Suffusion options.
Using Design/Customizing image can be selected but error with cropping.
Is there an information whether foreground image works generally with suffusion at all?

Visit https://www.mohlimo.com/
The new theme update no longer allows me to choose whether I want to display “Suffusion theme by Sayontan Sinha” in the footer.
It shows it by default. I don’t see anywhere to change this in footer.php, either.
Please tell me how to remove it, again.

Anyone here used Artisteer? I build small sites in wordpress and Artisteer has been great but is no longer properly supported. How do you rate Suffusion?
Many thanks
I have just started using Suffusion and got an issue that I am not able to sort out myself.
The site works perfectly on my laptop and mobile devices. However, most of the images are not fully loaded when I open the site with my Ipad, causing low-resolution, blurry photos.
The site URL is vincentphotographer.org. Here is the Dropbox link to the screenshot:
Please help! Thank you in advance.
I have spent the day trying to create a background slideshow in the header, first using Meteor Slides and now with MetaSlider.
As a result of countless searches, I am now getting there except for one problem which I cannot understand.
Both the slideshow plugins create a very wide container which breaches both left and right boundaries of the header. I have moved the slideshow images to the right which leaves an empty white box on the left with a bullet point in Chrome but not in FireFox. FireBug shows this wide container but I don’t seem to be able to get to it.
I am frustrated beyond belief so any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Hello
I am using Suffusion Theme, and have a problem with extra / unwanted line brakes.
In my HTML code I have several comments (<!– comment –>).
I found out that after removing these comments – the unwanted line brakes disappear.
I have the same problem when using invisible HTML code, such as image map. These are also creating extra line brakes.
It is related to using Suffusion.
Can someone help?
Thanks, David

Hello,
Maybe someone had similar issues?
SuffusionVersion: 4.4.7, WordPress 4.3 .
When restore down<-> mazimizing browser window (IE 10, Chrome 43, Firefox 40, different PC also tried) the numbers in Widget Area below Header are doubling.
Fresh page 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, Restore down pressed, then number doubles 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, after Maximize, triples 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and so on.

At one of my sites https://www.poppameth.com I’m running Suffusion. I have responsive layout enabled. Google’s mobile friendly test fails every time. I’ve installed the Responsive Menu plugin and changed the navigation bar above the header to hidden and it passes the mobile test fine. The issue seems to be that the page menu is too wide for the viewport, even though it changes to a drop down list on a mobile device.
Any input on how to fix this?
After updating WordPress to 4.2.3 the visual editor buttons on posts and pages are gone. I have disabled all plugins and the problem persists. Nothing appears in the Visual tab – it’s just a blank white page, but the content is there if I click the “Text” tab.
Am posting this here in case Suffusion has a feature that will solve my problem. I know there’s lots about Suffusion I don’t understand or use yet.
Does anyone know how to build a flow chart for a WP post or page? I don’t know if any of the Suffusion features would do it, if there is a plugin that will do it or is there another way.
I want some text in a box at the top.
Probably arrow down to another text box. Have a link in that box to take me to another post/page with some background information. And I’d have a link on that page to bring people back to the flow chart.
Arrows to several text boxes that people will choose between and that each link to individual pages/posts for further information.
And so on.
I thought there’d be a plugin to generate flow charts but can’t find one.
It would take me forever to use html to make text boxes. Let alone trying to lay them out on the page. And I’ve no idea how to generate arrows. Or to make them different shapes.
Is there a free, or cheap program that will generate an interactive flow chart? How do I insert the chart into a post/page?
Thank you
I can get the author image at the end of the post in a separate box.
But is there any way I can get the image smaller and in line with Posted by – so there’d be the image of the author and posted by and date on the same line?
Like there is now, s tiny avatar before the posted by – can I replace that by an image?
here’s an example:
https://huonostisuomi.com/arkipiispa-kari-makinen/
It’s been a while since I used it and I can’t remember my username or password. And the username along with my email to recover it. I haven’t been able to figure out how to contact the admin.
Any ideas?

I have installed the premium plugin Revolution Slider which works great with Suffusion, EXCEPT that it will NOT go into Full Screen mode, a big reason I purchased it. When I switch themes to Twenty-Fifteen full screen mode works as advertised.
When set to Full Screen mode, the plugin is designed to break the container that holds the slider, allowing it to go across the browser window. It just won’t do it with Suffusion’s set up.
The plugin developer logged into my WP site and tried to resolve the issue without success. He suggested I contact my theme’s author for further assistance. I welcome your help, if possible.
The test page link is:
https://bellabodyinc.com/test-page-2/
The test page design uses Suffusion’s default template with no sidebars, fluid, 100% page width, max width 900px and min width of 480px.
I can provide login access if needed. Would be happy to make a donation or pay a fee to resolve the issue.
Thanks in advance and keep up the great work with Suffusion!

hello experts, i want to increase body layout and to remove border.
Hello there,
I have a problem which needs urgent solution so please help!
I am customizing the header and the navigation bars quite a lot and I need to use a background image for the menu items. The image is set but the problem is that I can’t change anything like background-size or background-position. I tried in 2 ways: with a child theme and by adding custom css in Custom includes -> Custom style. If I inspect in the browser the custom css appears for the rule that I created (nav#nav-top ul li.menu-item) which is stronger than any other rules. Also I tried to add style on the element in firebug but still no effect. The only thing that works is when I add the custom css to a rule which comes from /uploads/suffusion/custom-styles.css (#nav-top ul li, #nav-top.continuous ul li, #nav-top ul ul li, #nav-top.continuous ul ul li, #nav-top ul li a, #nav-top.continuous ul li a, #nav-top a.current li a, #nav-top.continuous a.current li a). Any css added here has effect but it’s crazy that not even the style added on element is not working and I don’t know why or how to solve this.
So please help!
