Happily using this theme on our sports-related website for several years, but the lack of any recent updates (or answers below) makes me a little concerned…

The Sporty Theme used to have the Editor function where you could update or alter the CSS code, but the Editor seems to have been taken out or is misplaced. Does anyone know how to alter the CSS on the current Sporty Theme? I’ve looked up and down but can’t find it. ANy help is great. Thanks.

I’m trying to darken the lettering on the front page, but I can’t seem to find the editor. It used to have one in the Dashboard, but doesn’t anymore, for some reason.

The editor is usually located under “Install Plug-ins,” but for some reason it’s not there.

I tried to function the CSS editor in the “Customize” section, but I have no idea how to inject code in to it that will help change the site.

Can anyone please offer me tips or point me in to the direction of the editor for Sporty theme, please?

I turned off all of the options but a couple come back.
I also cant figure out how to edit or remove bottom widgets. It shows none are active

I wish to remove the SEARCH, ARCHIVES and META from the right side bar and use the space for content. I have removed all widgets however those 3 items are still present. Do I need to alter the CSS directly to remove those items? Can anyone tell me what items to adjust?

I’ve a problem with the menu. when moving the mouse over sub menu items it opens all sub menus items and is difficult to understand and choose one item.

Hi,

I have updated the theme (Sporty) of our club-website this week, but there seem to be a number of issues now.

At this moment I have fixed the background colour with a CSS plugin.
The background colour was transparant and made the site unreadable.

I still have issues with the menu however.
Could someone take a look and advise?

In general it looks like a css file is missing or was overwrtitten by an empty file.
But I have no clue were to look, I am not a programmer… ??

A few days ago my static home page stopped working. As you can see when visiting my website, there is one post, and the right column is blank. I have it set to show 3 posts, and the right home widget.

When I go into customize, everything is still set as it should be. On the home page edit screen, I have template set to home page as it should be.

This may have happened when I updated to the newest version of WordPress, but I can’t confirm that.

I don’t know a ton about HTML or PHP, if you have an idea of what my problem could be, please explain completely.

If you take own color scheme (apperance/global settings/color options), it makes that in the navigation menu – “the primary color” appears as background as well as text of hover. So, finally the item menu is “empty” when you have hover text.

I used a lot of css styles (simply custom and additional) for formating menu (including formating separately each menu-item). It was hard work, I changed the hover background in all items menu. The problem is the hover text color. I only managed to change the first level menu but I cant change hover text color in the submenu. Nothing happens with the color of hover text in the submenu items. Still the same: “primary color”.

Questions:
1) Why when I use own color scheme, “the primary color” in the navi menu is used the same for background and hover text?? the hover text should be other then background.
2) Why i cant change the color of hover text in submenu for other then “primary color” using ccs styles?
I think you should change sth in the Sporty Pro Theme. The “primary color” overwrite almost everything, also items which not be covered by the “primary color” For exapmple I would like to left the “primary color” as background hover but change the hover text (and not the other way round)

I removed the right column. How do I get the post information to expand into the open white space on the right?

I experience several problems after transfer of my sporty theme on new hosting.

The title says it all. Happened out of the blue.
Also the page with blog posts must exclude the sticky posts in in the custom-homepage.php and there’s such a code in the template for the blog posts but it doesn’t work.

I love the layout of the custom home page template but am I able to adjust the content of the left side of the content instead of always showing posts? I can’t seem to be able to adjust anything.

how can I change text in read more button from “MORE” to something else.
Theme does not support my language.
My theme is sporty pro.

After theme update the navigation menu has bigger gaps and one item moved to the line below. How do I fix it? Thanks.

The slider in home page not working. I can’t undestand why..
Can you help me please?

Installed the theme and activated it.
Then clicked on button that says “Install & Activate Recommended Plugins” and get a page that says

“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

With the page URL ending in

“/wp-admin/themes.php?page=tgmpa-install-plugins”

Why can’t I install the additional plugins?

I’m trying to get an extract of the “About” page on the front page. I thought that it should be possible since the functions.php includes the folllowing code :

function sporty_add_excerpt_support_for_pages() {

}

But I don’t find anyware a way to include it on home page.
Morover, I’d like the excerpt to show only the text, and not the title of the “About” page.

If it’s not possible to do it graphicaly
I’ve red a tutorial where they suggest to use this code in order to show the excerpt, but I don’t know where I’m supposed to paste it

I deleted that theme where I had broken several JavaScript functions and the slider didn’t load.
I performed a fresh install which fixed plenty of problems but I can’t still get the slider working.
Could you tell me, please, which JavaScript functions loads it? Is it wpembed.js?

I am in the process of building a small site for our local short mat bowls club. As yet, the site is not live.

My question is how do I remove the text “Category Archive:” from the title of a blog post page when using the Sporty theme.

Ich meine das die Sponsorenanzeige automatisch alle 3 bis 5 Sekunden wechselt.
Das Logo soll alle 3 bis 5 Sekunden nach rechts laufen.Kann man auch die Anzeige auf der Hauptseite ?ndern ? Das die Sponsoren unterhalb des ZEUS Sliders angezeigt werden ?

how can you present the sponsors as running tickers for the Theme Sporty V3?
I mean that the sponsor ad automatically changes every 3 to 5 seconds.
The logo should run to the right every 3 to 5 seconds.
Is it possible to change the ad on the main page? That the sponsors are displayed below the ZEUS slider?

I used WP ASSETS CLEAN UP plugin to unload some JavaScript files from my home page.
Unfortunately,this plugin doesn’t load the files which one has already unloaded so I can’t restore them.
Could you help me how to restore the slider ?

1)Why can’t I add widgets to either sidebar even via default widgets manager even when there is free space in the sidebars?I could not add the default image widget and had to add images via the HTML widget.Today I can’t add anything
2)Why can’t I edit the already installed widgets in all 6 widgets areas?As if this part is locked
3)Why does the customizer show nothing?I see the the theme settings in “Appearance” but I want to fix the width and add some CSS classes.

I’ve got a problem in mobile layout.
Although the page is fully visible it moves orizontally and the orizontal scroll bar appares on the screen.
Same behaviour with WP 4.8.3.

The site is empty, yust the Sporty Theme installed.

Can you help me to resolve?
