VERY nice theme with some handy customization options. One question. Are there any recommended image sizes for thumbnail, medium and large images? Thank you.

I used the sport mag wordpress theme and i found 3 problems:

1. The slider posts is not moved ..is back only on one featured image
2. How i can reduce the widget space between ads ?
3. I used the accepress theme ( child theme) to add Header image but is not showing on the website with sportmag theme

Several weeks ago I installed the Sportsmag theme. See website: [link removed]

I have had a number of issues with the theme that I have been able to figure out and resolve myself. However, one issue that remains constant is that the navigation bar nolonger shows up on the mobile site. When viewing from my laptop/desktop I can see the nav menu… when viewing from cell phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and iPhone 6 plus) it does not show up.

I reached out to Sportsmag for support and they responded very quickly – which I truly appreciate. However, they asked for my wordpress login to fix the issue. Although I would like to have the issue corrected, I don’t feel comfortable giving out my wordpress login information. Is this standard practice? Is this how you all normally have your issues corrected?

I’ve already set in Theme Options/Excerpt the lenght (nr of words) but, although I wrote a text in the editing box of the post, the site shows the “automatic” excerpt.

This theme has the same problem as the parent theme and since the developer refuses to respond to my questions on the parent theme I will move the questions over here and see if I get better luck.

Before using AccessPress Mag/SportsMag the non aligned linked images would lay side by side and adjust for computer or phone. Now all the non aligned linked images stack one on top of the other. The developer has told me by creating a new post and adding images in to a gallery that will fix ALL 300+ posts that have this issue. Obviously I’m not stupid and it won’t. But I also found further proof of bad code. Hopefully they will fix it or I can get the broken themes removed from WordPress.

Further Proof that AccessPress Mag/SportsMag is Screwed Up!!

Look at the image (link below). Notice where the cursor hand pointer is?
The cursor hand pointer should turn back into a plain arrow pointer when it is Not hovering over a linked image. However, as you can see in the image, the cursor does not turn back into a pointer arrow when it leaves the image in the AccessPress Mag/SportsMag Theme.

YOUR BAD CODE is keeping the cursor a hand pointer and it is forcing the “linked aligned none image” to stack and not lay side by side.

The problem is BAD CODE – FIX IT!!

I have given you proof that it ONLY Happens on YOUR THEMES – AccessPress Mag/SportsMag – AGAIN!!

I have shown that it happens on your theme and not others.
I have shown that if I set the theme back to 20XX and remove the plugs the problem does not exist.
I have shown that if I set the theme back to 20XX and enable all the plugs the problem does not exist.
I have shown that the problem Still exists with AccessPress Mag/SportsMag by installing it on a fresh install of WordPress, but NOT with any other theme.

And NOW I have given you Proof that your code is bad! Because at NO POINT should the cursor stay a hand pointer when the cursor no longer hovers over a linked image.

FIX YOUR THEME!!

This theme looks fantastic! However I’ve found two issues on the homepage. It could be a plugin conflict or something I did wrong.

1. I’ve set the slider settings to display categories. The Highlight category on slider doesn’t display the selected category but the same one i’ve set for the main slider. Despite changing the number of slides it shows 1 slide for the slider category and 4 more for the highlight category which is set to another category but displays the slider category.

2. There’s a huge space between the header and slider and the posts displaying the news ticker text.

I have a problem with the Sportsmag theme in that the category tag is appearing over the title of post if a featured image is set with the post. I am about to go live with this theme for my cricket club, however this needs to be resolved before I release the site

When I first got this theme, everything was going well but all of a sudden, published posts don’t show up on the homepage after they are published.

Sometimes they even take about 20 minutes to show up on the homepage. The same thing applies to widgets. It seems like everything I publish does not instantly show up on the actual site anymore.

I have the parent theme anyway so what could be wrong?

The theme options admin page is no longer loading properly, as if it has no css, or images.
This means I am unable to set any of the options.

I have had to delete and reinstall the theme recently, and it is since then that the issue has occurred.

Everything is fine with my site on desktop, but on mobile when you click on a post the header takes up half to 3/4 of the page. Any one know how to fix this. On the homepage the header is fine, but any post you click on the header becomes too big.
