As a UX Developer I understand that it is better to display menu items than hiding them within a hamburger menu, as it enhances visibility and ease of access. However, some navigations contain several menu items which can create layout challenges – particulary on tablet viewports where they often break into a second line.
Adding a hamburger menu on tablets is a highly popular use case due to width constrains yet I’m currently limited to setting it either as [ off ], [ mobile ] or [ always ] using Spectra.
I simply can not have a navigation with breaking menu items into a second line on Tablets. I could probably find my way out with custom CSS, but it defeats the purpose of having a full suite of solutions built for creating patterns, template parts, templates and sites using Gutenberg alone.
If there’s a solution for this particular issue, please let me know, otherwise, please consider adding tablets as a feature request.

We want to switch to an FSE theme, we are thinking of using Spectra One + the Spectra block plugin, but we do not find a solution to add related posts and a code for example inside the articles (content), for example after paragraph 2.
We can certainly add these with a specific plugin. But we don’t want to have to install 2 more separate plugins and it would help us a lot if you would add these two features in the future. Thank you!

Added already the site icon block to the header .

I’m using Spectra One and the Spectra Builder.
I’m using 2 page templates: 1/ the Spectra template for pages and 2/ I created a homepage-template in the editor for the Homepage.
I want to use a transparant header.
For the regular pages: it’s working good. In the editor I set the header on transparant in the header settings of the page template.
For the Homepage however I don’t find the settings to make the header transparant. In the editor for the homepage-template, the Spectra Page Settings are not showing the “enable transparant header” option. In the homepage template, I neither find the transparant-option in the header-block settings.
So my question is: how can I use transparant header for my homepage template?

]]>In using the Spectra One Theme in WordPress I found that with the mobile version of the menu, the navigation links with submenus didn’t connect with their pages. Ugh. All that work, almost finished and the mobile menu wasn’t cooperating. Eventually, I created a placebo page for those non working links. Then they didn’t matter in the mobile version of the menu. Yes, my tablet and laptop version may have a duplicate page, but so be it. The other frustration is that when the menu is displayed the spacing between items, doesn’t make sense. There are unnecessary spaces after the links with submenus and the organization of the menu isn’t user friendly. I will be looking for a new menu creator. In the forum someone mention using Max Mega Menu, however it doesn’t seem to work with Spectra One. I just needed to vent. Thank you.

I need to create custom templates for my products, as I do not have a standard product page template. I will be creating multiple templates since each one serves as a landing page dedicated to a specific product.
Today, I noticed that after adding a new custom product page template from the site editor, several blocks appear differently. For instance, when I add an ICON LIST block from Spectra Blocks, it displays correctly in the site editor but appears with oversized icons on the published page. Please take a look at the following screenshots:

I should also mention that this issue only occurs with that specific template; the ICON LIST displays correctly on other templates.
I have cleared the cache on my browser, WordPress, and Cloudflare, and I also reset the assets from the Spectra settings, but the issue persists.

After spending time with Spectra one to build a site in a short period of time, I am totally flabbergasted that tools like Yoast cannot read content of a page that was based upon a template theme.
Nobody tells you this beforehand. Just use “this plugin” or “that plugin” – millions of users. Like reading the fine print on your credit card terms of use – you only find out after the fact.
I have talked to your support, and they tell you to talk to the plug-in vendor for workarounds. I talked to Yoast and AllinOne and they both tell me that you must put in code to allow the SEO plugin to have access to the text.
And the workarounds are all horrendous. And yes we know that Google will read the contents anyway. But what is the point? You have a tool that helps you with everything, and you can’t use it.
You have an obligation to spell this out to customers – as does Yoast and AllInOne
Elementor seems to be the only one compatible.
Your support team has been responsive in many ways, but I also can tell they are overworked, as they can tend to gloss over the details of some stuff that need further analysis or encompass long threads.

E.g. in Astra I can easily create a custom post type and that post type has its template coming from toolset.
When it comes to Spectra One I simply cannot understand how to tell to get its contents from the relevant toolset content template.

]]>I am using the Spectra One theme and have never been able to get sticky headers to work. The note says that “The block will stick to the scrollable area of the parent Header block.” It’s not sticking at all. Any advice – it’s driving me crazy.
]]>My pages are scrollable to the left, although in the back-end the settings for lay-out, width, etc seem to be OK.
So in the front-end there appears a scroll bar at the bottom, and for instance the homepage can be shifted partially to the left (the left side of the page shifts out of the screen, on the right side a white border appears). This is inconvenient especially on tablet and mobile when scrolling manually (the page moves all the time).
I already made a site with Spectra One and I did not encounter this problem, although at first sight the settings of both sites seem to be the same.
How can this be solved?

I have disabled all plugins, except for the Spectra, and Spectra Pro plugins. I have also deleted and reinstalled the Spectra One theme. Nothing has worked, so far. If I switch to another theme, the website works as planned, but is no longer formatted correctly. The website is hosted on HostGator. Any help is appreciated.

There are no tutorials on this matter (at least I couldn’t find any in the documentation). I know Astra PRO had this feature. Am I missing something, or there is no mega menu builder provided by Spectra One theme?

In order to change the color of the active state I used the same code and just changed the word “hover” to “active” and added it after the “hover” code in “Additional CSS”.
However, this time it didn’t work. Here is the code:
