I know this is a child theme of the Colibri theme. Given that, is it possible / advisable to still create my own child theme of Skyline?
]]>Hi there,
quick question, I’m having problems with the same website again. The galleries and images now display correctly but the descriptions underneath the images and galleries appear to be on the side of the image/gallery.
This is one of the pages affected: https://romeandbeyond.altervista.org/artena-a-renaissance-gem-perched-on-a-mountain-ridge/
In this one the description of the gallery seems to cover the images:
https://romeandbeyond.altervista.org/lanuvio-gods-and-emperors/
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Elisa
Hi,
I use this lovely theme and I have been experiencing problems with galleries in articles.
The images are no longer displayed neatly in rows, they appear all on top of one another with no spacing, in a column.
This happens in every single article, even older ones.
I tried deactivating all plugins but to no avail.
I would be grateful if you could help me fix this problem.
Many thanks in advance,
Elisa
I need assistance with a problem that exist with using a slider on a blog post, I have issues with the result of clicking on the ‘Read More’ button within any one of the blog post in the slider and the result is the full image within the blog does not appear only the top half or middle portion of the image appears.
In the slider you get the full view, that appears okay with the full image, but when the Read More button is clicked underneath an image it is stretched wide horizontally (width) by is cut off with its height.
I tried going to the Post Thumbnail settings page and I did adjust the height from 300 to 587 and it looked fine, but when I went to see the changes after publishing, the same shortened height problem still appeared again.
I am using the Colibri WP Skyline theme.
Any suggestions on how to correct the height issue?
]]>Hi,
I want to create a page to display several scientific research groups sorted by their fields of expertise and research. Because many groups have several fields of research, I thought that it would be good to do a post for every group that can have several categories. Then I wanted to do pages for each research area and display there all research groups (= posts) with the corresponding category. I would like to have all research groups of a specific area, i. e. all posts with a certain category, displayed completely on the respective site (so there is no need for the reader to click on the individual posts). It should look like a nice list of groups (and not like a blog), but with the advantage that I can change details for one group only once and then every list is updated.
Is it possible for the Skyline Theme to display whole posts on one page? I only was able to change the length of the summary, but not to choose to display the whole post.
I’d appreciate every help!
Thanks, Clarissa
