Are you aware of this? After updating to woocommerce 9.4.1 I get the following warning:

Your theme (Unwind) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.?These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:

1. Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version.
2. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

My woocommerce status reports the following:

Templates –Overrides:

siteorigin-unwind/woocommerce/checkout/form-checkout.php?version?3.5.0?is out of date. The core version is 9.4.0,
siteorigin-unwind/woocommerce/product-searchform.php,

hi there tnx for help. im using your theme unwind quite a lot of time with jetpack portfolio features. im having some issues with jetpack connection that im solving also with support of wordfence/jetpack/ allinoneseo. i check also php error and saw that also i got errors from unwind theme i did notice immediately. i have up-dated versione of all plugins. what are these and how can i solve them, can you pls help me illuminate? im having also other from allinoneseo and jetpack that im solving with them.

Hello, I need to insert the portfolio translating different languages, but I can’t do it, so I create different projects for every language.
Basically the code doesn’t show the categories to filter the portfolio, but if I change the code inside loops/loop-portfolio.php, if I delete or comment the line

it shows the categories but it shows all, not just the ones I have shown in this page (so, it shows the categories of other languages).
I can’t understand where I was wrong.

I have an issue with scroll to top functionality when the is no header in a page.
It looks like for solution is:
sttWindowScroll function in unwind.js should check if $(‘#masthead’) is exists.

Hello, my knowledge of wordpress goes back to 2008. I decided to go build my site in 2020 and I realised that there are no longer free/pro themes but one has
Theme/child theme
Page builders
Addon plugins

Could you please tell me what is the dependency of Unwind on those page builders? It seems aesthetically it fits my purpose but I am scared to mess things up if I install any page builder to make adjustments.

I just need a main page + blog (grid format) + ad banners between posts
This is a recipe/food blog essentially and I like the potential for a shop present hence unwind as a choice

This is my second topic. First, I had a problem with elementor social icons it could not appear when I drag and drop it from the content bar into my section.
Now the new problem arises is, my header footer & blocks loading after loading.. when i click edit with elementor.
Even, when i click to view it, it says page not found. Only, edit and quick edit options are okay to use.

Heyhey! Ive done my best with custom css widget yet the footer changed colour yet the right & left sides / margins didnt. they stayed white. oops.

Any support here is great! I need the entire footer (stretched) left & right to be the same dark colour & Im stumped!

Hello!

I’m hoping someone can help, I’ve been searching and searching and getting nowhere. I noticed the other day that a lot of my CSS styling has stopped displaying on desktop. Things like the fonts reverting to default styles and sizing, borders missing etc. Even with an !important attribute, it’s not working anymore. The CSS is still there in the customizer, but it seems to be getting ignored. Strangely though, it still seems to be working on mobile view which has me really confused…

For example the main menu font should be Special Elite in black, but it’s displaying on desktop as Lato in grey.

Has anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions at all would be appreciated. Theme is SiteOrigin Unwind, so I’m not sure if it’s a theme issue after updating, but I really have no idea…

I’m loving the Unwind theme, which I’m also using with SiteOrigin Page Builder. I noticed on my blog page excerpts that the widget heading (subtitle) is shown as running directly into the paragraph text as shown in bold below eg;

Since I installed “Yet Another Related Posts Plugin”, tried displaying six posts instead of three as default, so have been looking for the right file to touch, but still can’t find where to do and it keeps causing off layout…

Give me an advise where I should look up to fix this please.

Sorry but my blog isn’t written in English, but wish you find where I’m talking about.

When I add a caption to an image, it appears as left-centred large text when the post is previewed or published.
The caption looks how it is meant to in the post editor, however, it is not formatted when the post is previewed or published.
I just noticed this problem a few days ago. Before that, all the captions in my posts appeared fine.
I have tried changing themes and deactivating plugins to see if anything is causing this issue but nothing has worked so far.

Hello,

I wish to add social media icons at the bottom of every ‘Latest posts’ on my website.

I can not find any options to do this and plugins I have downloaded don’t give me the option.

As you can see below the ‘View Post’ there are several sharing icons. How do I do this? Is this a theme issue? This is on their latest posts on their front page, like mine.

Hello,

When I select a feature image, some of the images are not cropped correctly, due to a portrait image going into a landscape frame. I want to edit the image placement. As far as I am aware, I can not do this anywhere unless I make the original image landscape. These images show on the front of my website with the latest blogs.

I go into lightroom and change the picture to landscape. No other adjustments. When I upload the image to WordPress and change the feature image picture to the new landscape picture, the image quality is severely decreased and looks grainy (once viewed on the website).I have also tried this for a portrait picture.

Is this due to my website being a staging website or is this a theme issue?

I would like this layout, however I can not find any settings to enable a big image under my logo. Only to replace the logo with an image.

I just developed a hotsite using the SiteOrigin Unwind theme. But the responsive is not working. On the mobie a title even a text is howing letter by letter.
I loved this theme. I used it for the second time, and in the first with the same version of the WordPress (5.1) the responsive is ok.
Someone can help me, please?

For some reason that I can not figure out, the social icons are not showing up for me in the editor or on my site. I am using Elementor on site unwind theme.

I have an issue after upgrade to WP 5 because the latest posts, using the new image blocks are not displayed on the front page. If I use the the direct URL (attached below) the page opens with no problem, but it’s just not shown on the front page (https://blogwithphotos.net). Usually the last post appears on top as the most recently published one.

The previous post, using the WP 4.x format is shown as the “last post” on the front page.

It’s only me who has this problem? Any idea?

I am working in WordPress 4.9.8, using Unwind. I am not able to add pages to the theme as the Theme Options tab is not there.

I have explored the troubleshooting blog, deactivated plugins, reloaded the theme and reactivated plugins.

The layout of the table in the cart gets messed up if you update the quantities when in mobile view mode. If you reload the page in the browser, the layout comes good again.
This occurs with chrome and Firefox.

You will need to add some of the test items from the product page first Shop

The cart has a table with the following headings “Product”, “Price”, “Quantity”, “Total”. In desktop view mode the items line up correctly under the headings. In mobile view mode the same headings exist, but the item prices disappear. This means the item quantity ends up under the heading “Price”, the total price ends up under the heading “Quantity” and nothing is under the heading “Total”.

When you change the view window width, the products maintain a reasonable spacing from the sides, however the Subscribe button starts to go off the right hand side when the width drops to about 870px.

Increasing the button widget right hand margin does not seem to do anything. Increasing the button widget right hand padding does move it away from the edge, however I would like it to stay closer to the edge when the view width is above 870px.

I am using the Layout Builder to place a logo and some buttons in the Masthead. It looks ok on a PC, however on a mobile device the widgets vertical spacing increases.

Is there a way to get the widgets to collapse under each other with a smaller vertical spacing?

I just created a new category where there is only one item, for now, it happens that the content is shorter than the sidebar.
Can you fix this kind of situation?
Of course I can wait until more items fit in there and this problem will go away.
I understand that there some plugins that fix this, but I will not go there.
But anyway it would be a great addition to the theme.

a3 Lazy Load is working everywhere on the site except the home page. Have downloaded the theme and see that images are added by this custom function which means lazy load can’t find the images

It is not possible for us to add custom code for every different custom function that a developer might use – but if you wished we provide filters so that a3 lazy Load can be applied to your custom functions.

To fix the issue for your user and make your theme fully compatible with a3 lazy load would require just a small filter – if you would be willing to add it.

for example change

return ( ‘’ !== $first_image ) ? $first_image : false;
to
return ( ‘’ !== $first_image ) ? apply_filters( ‘a3_lazy_load_images’, $first_image, false ) : false;

Just for your reference here is a full list of filters that developers can be use for a3 lazy Load compatibility – but as i mentioned it is just your home page where the issue exists.

Apply filter tags to apply lazy load:
– a3_lazy_load_images : apply lazy load for images from content
Example code to use it: apply_filters( ‘a3_lazy_load_images’, $your_content, null );

– a3_lazy_load_videos :apply lazy load for videos and iframe from content
Example code to use it: apply_filters( ‘a3_lazy_load_videos’, $your_content, null );

– a3_lazy_load_html : apply lazy load for all images, videos and iframe from content
Example code to use it: apply_filters( ‘a3_lazy_load_html’, $your_content, null );

Hard class name to exclude lazy load on images or videos , iframes from lazy load : a3-notlazy

Filter tags for add class name of theme to exclude lazy load on images or videos :
– a3_lazy_load_skip_images_classes
– a3_lazy_load_skip_videos_classes

Hi there,

I’m ultimately trying to get a small menu and search bar in the header of my site along with my centred logo above the main menu – see link above. But currently the masthead widget is too tall.

How can I get rid of all the white space around it so it’s more like my homepage… https://www.staging1.thebandboutique.co.uk/

Or is there a better way of doing this.
