Hi,
I don’t like wordpress’s default display of featured images on pages and posts, so I really wanted to try out yours!
It would look great if I could edit the way it is displayed, although I couldn’t find where it is displayed in the code.
– I noticed you display a subtle black overlay over the image on the header: i would like to extend it over the whole image to 60% opacity
– Could I disable this image in header for certain pages? (tag, category, link) I still don’t want the default wordpress display, but sometimes my feature images don’t fit this format.
– I couldn’t find in the documentation where I can see all of the attributes for the header, so I can edit some details with CSS
If you can help me with that, this would definitely be the best theme I’ve used so far.
Thanks in advance!
Is there any way to apply condition depending on checked image swatch with MULTISELECT option enabled? I’ve created condition which works fine with radio groups and check boxes, but not with image swatches.
Problem occurs under Elementi tab…
Thanks
]]>Hi,
Do you still develop this theme or is it paused?
On your homepage you seem to focus on plugin development now.(?)
This is a very nice theme, thanks for sharing!
]]>Hello, on the home page and when viewing a post, I would like a sidebar to display that has various widgets that I add.
Is that possible with this theme?
]]>Hi! Between Thursday and today the footer on this site has disappeared (the full width footer – which has a video and a 4 column footer that is below it.) I’ve checked all the settings – they are set to display, “reveal footer” is not checked, turned plugins on and off, updated anything that needed updating, even tried adding items/backgrounds etc. to see if it would trigger to to come back on – but no luck. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?
Thanks! Angie
Hello,
i installed the Singularity theme and it works flawless with one exception:
When I go to a Pages, edit one and change the “Page Attributes” / “Template” to “Homepage”, all plugins stop working.
I am at a loss on what to do here, as the Template: Homepage is the only one that removes the page title from the websites body.
Thanks for the support in advance.
Cheers,
Hein
I might be missing something obvious here as I’m quite new to WordPress and Singularity is the only theme I’ve used. I’ve set the same feature image for all my pages but for some reason it is not showing up on the ‘Posts’ page. I’m testing on localhost now so can’t give a website but can someone please help me out with this?
Thanks.
Hi,
I’m loving the Singularity theme, but the page title font is too large and weighted (bold) for my needs. I can turn it off on the homepage template, but I’d like to use it. How can I change it? I’d prefer to write a custom css rather than editing the original css, if that will work. I looked at the theme css, theme parts/headers, and I can’t figure out the proper site code for the first line. (Too much of a novice here.) Can you help?
I tried .site and .Singularity with various default and title combinations, but they didn’t work. Thanks for any help!
What goes on this line?
h1 {
color: #000000;
font-family: nunito;
font-weight: lighter;
font-size: 38px;
line-height: 1.5;
}
Hi,
A last check before the GDPR regulations. ??
Is the free Singularity theme GDPR compliant?
(some themes load unexpected things)
Thanks for helping out!
]]>Hi,
I’m interested in purchasing your unlimited pro version and have several questions.
1. Is the pro version white label?
2. Does the unlimited pro version include the ability to award badges for participation for users that are active and helpful?
3. When a user registers for our website, will they then have to register again (a 2nd time) to participate in discussion forums or can this be setup so they only have to register once?
Thank you!
]]>Great theme.
We have a sidebar with widgets, and 4 footer menu’s deployed to the footer as a widget each.
The challenge we have is that we are overriding the widget title color
h5.widget-title {
color: #2980b9;
}
This is great on the sidebar which has a white background.
This doesn’t work on the footer which has a similar color background to the widget title.
Is there a better way to do the footer menu items, or perhaps a better way to differentiate between a sidebar widget-title and a footer widget-title ?
]]>Hi folks,
First: what a wonderful theme!!
I am trying to figure out where some words are stored:
When I access my site from a mobile phone, there are a few words I’d like to translate (which I cannot find in the .po file)
“Menu”
“close”
Do you have any idea where they are stored? ??
Thanks,
]]>I’m trying to add featured content to the homepage, like the demo shows (the three boxes below the main featured image, with links to pages).
In the customizer view, the Homepage options are limited to choosing between static front page and recent posts. Can someone help me figure out how to get the options shown on the documentation page here: https://singularitytheme.com/documentation/ under ‘Homepage’?
Thanks!
Hello,
I’ve enjoyed working with this theme thank you for making it available.
My customer has asked to make the header smaller. I’ve reduced the size of the site branding logo, and that helped a little, but there is considerable space in the header above and below the logo that forces the rest of the content lower and she doesn’t like that. I’m looking through the code to see if there is a padding value I can change but I’m stumped. Any suggestion? Thanks.
]]>If I get the mobile layout the menu is changed to a button that should open the menu on the right.
But this button is a bit inresponsive and works only sometimes.
Sometimes it helps to keep it pressed longer.
Very strange behavior.
