When returning search results, only one page of results shows with no navigation to other pages of results.

Navigation is available when using a category widget to retrieve posts of similar category, but the search field always only returns only one page of results, despite there being many more results to display.

Please help

I want to hide the archives, meta and bookmarks widgets- how and where do I do that?
