Hi all:
I’ve managed to round the corners of most elements of my website: the footer, the menus, widgets (etc) using CSS like:
.widget {
border-radius: 8px !important;
}
The only thing left is the header image. It still has square corners. Any idea on the CSS needed to round the header image?

When the html code for one button is inserted in a page everything is fine (only one button is showing), however when the html code for two buttons is inserted in the same page the result is giving duplicate buttons i.e. 2 buttons for one code and 2 buttons for the other code. Would appreciate some help to fix the duplicate button issue…thx!
Hi,
I’m using your very flexible and nice theme ‘Simple life 2.4’. Everything works, besides that according to the WP 5.7.2 dashboard a new translation version should be available. (the message is only coming up using this theme without any plugin). Might be the case, because the only existing nl_NL .mo/.po files date from 2020-10-22. I made complete new ones thanks to poedit and the actual Simple life .pot file. But the message remains…
Tried both directories: /wp-content/themes/simple-life/languages and /wp-content\languages\themes (where should they be, by the way?)
What could I do better? What is my mistake?
Thanks and a nice day!

I’m using the Simple Life theme. The menu icon that shows on mobile devices is a single bar. I’d like it to be the common hamburger icon so it’s more obvious to people. Is there a way to change the mobile menu icon to the hamburger?
I’m using simple life as a responsive theme for a client the have been required by government statute to ensure that their website is fully compatible with W3C accessibility guidelines. I’ve been using the https://wave.webaim.org/ tooling to check this and it keeps coming back with an empty label for screen readers on the search box.
Looking at the code in searchform.php I find the following
<?php esc_html_x( 'Search for:', 'label', 'simple-life' ); ?>
Can someone explain why the php statement there is returning a null value and this ends up with empty content? From what I understand it should put something sensible in there.

Hi,
how can I change the Theme width?

I would like all pages to be full page and the blog page to have a side bar.
Right now I get all full pages or all with side bars.
I would like only the blog page to have a sidebar.
I want it to look like this:

I would like to display my Shop in a tabular format and have installed Woo Product Table Pro V3.1 to do this. I’ve created the table that I want displaying on my Shop page but the Simple Life default product list remains on the page underneath the new table.
The page link (just in case it doesn’t come through in the field above) is https://www.alns.com.au/literacy-numeracy-resources/shop/.
Can someone please help me remove the default display of my products from my Shop page?
Many thanks

I noticed that on widescreen view, the footer isn’t completely aligned with the rest of the page.
On further inspection, when zoomed out, the footer seems to be “left justified”.
I’ve attached a screenshot:

It seems that subpages on the regular navigation bar cannot be accessed on an iPad. The submenu appears by tapping on the parent item in the navigation bar… but it disappears shortly after. So the items in the submenu cannot be tapped on. Could you please fix it?

Using Custom css to change would be great.
My site has 5 header titles across the top header menu. The first one is the landing page “Home”, the other 4 are pages like “Contact Us” or “About Us”.
This works perfectly on desktop, but, when I view on my mobile phone and I click the 3 lines (hamburger menu) to see the other pages, it excludes the first title “Home”! So if you are reading one of the other pages, there is no way to get back to “Home”!
Do you know why it’s there on desktop but not there on mobile? I assume it’s because “Home” is a ‘custom link’, while the others are ‘Pages’. So I tried adding another page “Home”, but then there are TWO on desktop! How can I get it to show up on mobile and desktop the same?
Thank you for your help!

While browsing my website https://www.note-et-bien.xyz [credentials moderated] the menu button giving access to the main menu is no longer wisible (it was displayed in previous releases of the website). Did I mismanage something ? My web site runs under relase 4.5.3 of WordPress with Simple Life theme.
Does anybody have a clue as to what might cause this problem?

Hi,
I deleted the entry-header and the entry-footer in the article content-page.php so now I have just the entry-content
I used the border radius property in .entry-content but this doesn’t work
.entry-content {
border-radius: 20px;
-moz-border-radius: 20px; /* firefox */
-webkit-border-radius: 20px; /* safari, chrome */
}
