When I try to customize and add new slide, the “Publish” button is still in grey and can not be pressed.  So I can’t change or update my landing page.  would you be able to help me to sort this out?

I am trying to set up a WooCommerce shop and I am not able to make it possible for a guest (not logged in) visitor to add items to the cart. I have tried to deactivate all plugins and made sure that everything is up to date but it still won’t work. When I am logged in as administrator it works fine but not as guest. I have switched to the theme Storefront and then it works fine, but it will not work with Shopisle. So I figure the problem must be related to the theme somehow?

I run another Woo commerce shop since many years and also on Shopisle and there it works fine. I have of course gone through the administration settings very thuroghly to make sure that everything is set exactly the same on both sites, and it is. The adress to my other shop, the one that works, is:

Does anyone have a clue as to what can be causing this error?

Since a few days my homepage shows only a loading circle and nothing else. I’ve change to some other themes where I saw that page is loading but the cookie can’t be accepted. This theme worked very well in the past. Hope to get some help that I can use this one in future too.

Issue description: Having previously configured 6 sliders through the “customizer” > Frontpage sections (in dutch “Voorpagina secties”) > Slider section -> It shows the actual six slides represented as the bars mentioning “Add new slide”.

Updating and deleting does not work
However, trying to change by clicking on the top bar “Add new slide”, therewith opening up the menu where you can upload an image, add title, sub-title, button link and button label – It basically does NOTHING to the “published” button which is at the top. It is as if it does not recognize any changes are being made.

Adding does not work
Second, clicking the button below the 6 bars called “add new field” (dutch: Voeg een nieuw veld toe) –> same behaviour: Nothing is happening.

Basically i’m stuck with the 6 sliders i have configured, i cannot remove, change or add anything.

Hello. I am dealing with the same problem that have been discussed about a year ago:

“When I try to customize and add new slide, the “Publish” button is still in grey and can not be pressed. This goes for adding ar removing any of the slides.”

I have the exact same problem and the advice was to use the latest version of the theme – it was ShopIsle (1.1.62)

I am running 1.1.42 and can′t see any newer one, so now I am not so sure where does my issue come from.

Any ideas?

I was using a plugin to change my checkout field and it worked. Then I suddenly deleted that plugin. after few day I found another good plugin like that but when I edit fields with that, An error is coming and I couldn’t edit.

The error is,

Due to the recent WooCommerce 4.0 changes it is necessary to reconfigure conditional fields. If you have conditional fields, please go to the billing, shipping and advanced sections and set conditionals relationships again.

Please someone help me!

I’m using the ShopIsle Theme and when creating a page I’ve filled in my TITLE in the preset space and then added blocks below containing text. Problem is when the page is loaded up there’s a sizeable GAP between the top banner picture which contains the page TITLE, and the first line of text that is in the first block of the page. Is there a way to reduce the size of the GAP so that the text in the first block sits closer to the top of the page, directly below where the top banner picture ends.

Secondly while mentioning the top banner picture, is there a way to reduce it’s height so that it doesn’t take up as much space on the page.

If anyone can help me with this I’d be super appreciative.

I’m using Shop Isle as my theme. The site is in french and english. In the front page I have a “Latest products” section and a “Sale” section. I can’t figure out how to translate the two section titles. I’m using WPML to translate the site to french. The section titles appears as they should in WPML > String Translation, and I’ve translated them, but on the website they still appear in english regardless of whether the site is in french or english. What do I do?

using a PC and Google Chrome the Side Bar at the Shop Page works perfectly.
It is possible to use every widget and filter/ search for products.

The problem is, when it comes to mobilephone usage. The presentation is faulty.
When you click on the filter funnel it is not possible to scroll down to the last widget (if you have for example 4- 6 widgets). The last one is always not visible and as a result not clickable.
Furthermore when you have created a drop down menu an you click on it, it doesn′t open correct and mostly dissapears in seconds, so that there is no chance to select something.
Also the filter often just disappears, e.g. when you scroll down to the last widget and again down.

I know this “Mobile Chrome Version” doesn′t replace a real app, but i think this basic function should work properly and somehow it should be more or less easily to fix for the creators.

Does anyone has a clue how to solve this problem?

there is a large black banner at the top of my web page.
I really like it, because it always keeps most important functions on sight.
But i also have some problems with it, because this banner covers Buttons of a certain Plugin (WCFM), which as a result are not clickable anymore…

Is it somehow possible to remove this Banner or even better, to make it visible/ invisible when i scroll on it?! So that it′s possible to click the Buttons?!

Hi, I am looking to remove some features from the theme as per the site’s design there is no use for yet it takes a tremendous toll on page load.

Mainly the Youtube player, which is adding over 3s to pageload because of some read that
ends in a 404.

Really, there are many other sections I would like to disable via backend (Meta tags, etc), I’ve only been able to create workaround with extensive CSS writing, which is also taking a toll on page load. In all, a website with 5 photos (albeit large photos) takes about 11s to load on average & I’m trying to get this to be as fast as possible (particularly made the site to be small & fast)

I have his these sections for now as they no longer tell the right story, but it I can’t seem to update images or text in both the slider and banner homepage sections.

I deactivated my plugins and I have the latest version.

I reached out to my host and they can’t see where the issue is coming from. It is now with the tech department. I was advised to come to the theme provider in this case as it seems like there is something wrong on your end.

But the problem is that I can’t find a way to add a H1 to the shopIsle landing page.

Despite product has multiple reviews with stars there is Reviews (0) displayed..

how do I disable meta information of blog post when using shop isle theme?
Meta information like “0 comments”, author or date.
No CSS “hack” I found on other pages worked. Also no “hide meta plugin” worked.

Hi,

I’m running Shop Isle and have installed Elementor Pro (which I see is a plugin you suggest to use with the theme) to override content where needed. I have created a very simple WooCommerce product category template — it just displays a category title and an Archive Products block.

I’m having a weird issue where, when I hover my mouse of ANY product in the category product grid, I get the ‘add to cart’ / ‘select options’ overlay button appearing over EVERY product at once.

I’ve disabled all the plugins I can, and tried switching to a default theme but this doesn’t help as the default theme doesn’t have those overlay buttons.

It doesn’t seem to impair the functionality of the site, it just looks wrong.

This is on WP 5.5.3 and Shop Isle 1.1.62.

Any help appreciated.

I have been having issues with the Big Title Section on my website which uses the Shop Isle Theme.

The image on my Big Title Section is small and repeating horizontally. The title and call to action button are misaligning and overlapping with the menu.

I am not using a Child Theme and I have not edited any code or added any additional CSS.
