Massive ‘not valid json response’ problem after trying to use their theme widgets. Also picked up ‘variable error in extras.php’. Notice lots of unresolved topics and theme update hasn’t appeared as promised.
Unusable despite the fact it looks good. Avoid.

Really wanted this to work, but after an hour or so of fighting it, gave up. I’m a professional web developer with years of experience in WP, and I couldn’t what the hell they’re doing with the header. It just doesn’t work. Demo content importer also doesn’t work.

I think that Shapely is a great WordPress theme: it gives you a lot of possibilities, not only to create a landing page.
It gives you the possibility to show your works using the portfolio section, publish articles with the blog section and easily customize the style of your projects/articles.
What is more, it comes with a parallax section, a feature section and a lot of others section that you can add in the main page.
I really hope that the developers will continue to release new updates for this awesome theme!

I was worried that all themes these days use hacks to get around WP’s limitations but Shapely incorporates really well into WP and the most amount of under-the-hood tweaking was adding custom CSS.
