I have to swith to php8.1 because my provider does this.
Only when i switch to PHP8.1.10 i cant load my website.

I already removed all plugins and upgraded to wordpress version 6.0.2 (on my home server)
But nothing helped, seems to me that the error is coming out of the theme (other themes does work) problem seems to come from the file social-media-widget.php

Can someone help me to solve this problem ?

I have a problem with my mobile site. on iPhone 8 when i go to my site the menu is accessed by the button with the three lines in it. I press this button and the menu appears. I have to scroll down to see the rest of the options in the menu but the menu disappears. I try to click on the menu button again and it wont show the menu. I have tried disabling all the plugins and this did not help. I am using the iPhone 8 with Safari as the browser.

It seems that this theme have a very big problem : the thumbnails of categories only display original size image. It makes the category pages very heavy.

Do someone have a solution about that? How can I display cropped image instead of the original image in this thumbnails? The problem is the same with Dream Way theme.

Second top menue on iphone mostly doesn’t work (works only sometimes, very seldom)

If you put your menu on second top, it isn’t working on mobile.
It works fine on iPad og pc.

Since it looks like this theme is no longer supported, this is just an FYI to others who use the Layout Builder child theme.

Add a Navigation Menu to a widget. Set it to a non-primary menu.
In SG Window the correct menu displays. In Laybout Builder the primary/top menu always displays, regardless of the menu chosen in the widget.

This is verified by deactivating all plugins and then just switching between themes in the customizer – no outside influences.

SG Window correctly shows the chosen menu. The issue is in Layout Builder.

I haven’t looked into the code yet to figure this out (probably functions.php). For my current purposes I don’t really need this functionality, I can use a Custom HTML widget with hardcoded HTML links to get around the problem.

If I or someone else finds the solution, let’s post it here.

I like SG Window for its versatility. I’ve been using the Layout Builder Child theme because it makes good use of SG Window and fit how I like to structure my sites.

But Layout Builder is getting old and I’d like to know if there is another child theme that is like it, just more current and supported.

Or rather than loading existing child themes, I’d like to hear from folks who create their own child themes based on SG Window, to understand the challenges, satisfaction, preferences etc.

I have added a header image and some widgets on the right sidebar but they do not display when I view my site. Tried everything I ca think of but no luck. Any help with solving this would be appreciated.

I have been using another theme, where I had a timestamp on the posts.
Now that I have installed the SG Window theme, it seems impossible to find where I change the “the_time()” to what I want.
Can anyone help me please.

1) i see “customize-layout.php” in theme folder, and also in “inc” folder. what is differenc and which one is used?? currently, inc/ one is used, which obviously missing some fields from the nother custmize-layout (where is ‘width_site’ settings, which is not in inc one)

I started with this theme, and ended up with Diamond, which is very similar, but it is getting buggy because it is not being maintained. I upgraded my PHP and had all kinds of trouble that was only alleviated after going back to the older PHP (after hours of other troubleshooting and tech support). I have not been able to contact the developer and he does not respond on the forum. I do not want to switch themes – I am otherwise well pleased with it.

Now I need som help! In my blog my widgets are showing exactly as I want on the homepage and my “About” page but not in my posts. I can see my widgets in the customizer, but not when I access the blog posts themselves. Can anyone help what′s wrong? Thanks!Rgds Sissi

I’m using sg-grid, which is a child theme of sg-window. I want to modify the mobile version and get rid of the logo, but just for the MOBILE version.

Does anyone know the files I would need to modify to do that?

I’m using SG Window for a portfolio page. The main page of my blog is basically all thumbnails, each of which links to the post.

That’s all perfect, except it’s become extremely unresponsive. I have about 50 posts, which means 50 thumbnails to display, but that shouldn’t cause this kind of slowdown. Scrolling (on my desktop or laptop, and on my phone) is dead slow. Practically unusable.

Anyone have any ideas about whether I can fix this?

The Experience link on my homepage has links below it which when clicked open in the same window, not a new window as I have set. This is what I would like to happen.

If I click on the Experience link that page opens in the same window (this is good) and when I click on the links they open in a new window (these are the same links as the ones in the drop down under Experience) but the page displayed is a menu page and it indicates ‘Page not found’.

Hi, I can’t seen any other threads on this issue for this theme but assume I can’t be the only one with this problem. Website sub menus do not seem to activate/drop down on ipad at all or android tablet in landscape mode (seems to work in portrait, looks to go into mobile format). Hi, I want to change the font size of my site title. I am using the Theme SG Window. I tried to change it with this .site-title a {font-size: 90%;} in the customizer with the option ‘extra css’, but that doesn’t have any effect, neither does it when I add this rule to the style-sheet in the editor. How can i change the font-size?

I am trying to learn this WordPress theme and build a sample for a client. The header Image has a semi-transpaerant color overlay. It washes out the header image. Is there a way to change this to a darker color or no color to get image richness back? I am on the free version right now. Test site below:

При переезде на другой сервер напрочь слетели настройки дочерней темы.
Открываю бэкап, нахожу в нем в wp_options theme_mods_child-theme
беру из него массив, вставляю в аналогичную ячейку БД, обновляю сайт, снова захожу в БД и вижу там вместо массива со своими настройками следующую строку:
a:1:{s:18:”custom_css_post_id”;i:-1;}

По какому вообще принципу сохраняются настройки в теме SG Window???
И как их безболезненно переносить с хоста на хост?
Дочерняя тема реализована частично на “настройках темы”, частично на style и functions дочерней темы.

I am trying to widen the .site-content and .sidebar-2 divs so that they fill the “main-wrapper front_page right-sidebar” div. (The sidebar isn’t currently showing for some reason, but regardless, I still need to widen the used area.)

I tried this code from this “resolved” WP Forums post:

I’ve tried different widths on different elements and nothing I do affects the width of the content or sidebar.

I’ve also spent plenty of time in the theme customizer trying different settings for the Home and Page column settings, but I couldn’t get the content wider there, either. Frankly some of those column and layout settings just don’t make sense to me. But I digress…
