Want to have a centered column with fixed width?
#grid-container {
margin:0 auto;
width:1172px;
background-color: whitesmoke;
box-shadow: 3px 3px 3px 3px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4);
}
Handy with a fixed width banner picture/image slider.
]]>I would like to remove de dark bar below the slider. By overwriting the css I managed to remove the dot and arrows and removed the background color but the space is still reserved.
CSS code:
.banner .arrows {
display:none;
height: 0px;
}
.banner .dots {
display:none;
height: 0px;
}
.banner {
background: white;
height: 300px;
}
Any ideas?
]]>This this is blocking my reservation plugin. I had my plugin developer fix the error so that the plugin displayed all necessary buttons. They told me the theme was blocking the buttons from appearing. The fix worked on the website via desktop/laptop but not via mobile device. I changed my theme, disabled all other plugins and the reservation plugin worked. I then reactivated just my theme and no other plugins, and the reservation plugin did not work. Therefore it’s the theme. In addition, after going on this exploration the problem is back again on desktop/laptop.
On the reservation page, after searching for dates/guests the accommodation types display. The “select” option is being hidden. Also, if you select an accommodation type to read more about it, a new page opens and you can search here as well. Once you search the same problem persists, no ‘select’ buttons.
]]>Hi
My website is https://www.celbo.co.za and I am using the Seguente theme.
I am struggling to remove borders/padding on my pages. My home page is fine but on all my other pages, there seems to be grey borders or padding. So directly under my heading there are 2 grey lines (see https://celbo.co.za/retirement-planning/).
How do I go about removing this off all my pages?
]]>I am using Seguente, and can not get the creator to answer me. Using a booking plugin for my hotel called Hbook. The HBook creator logged onto my admin site and told me the problem was with the theme. It’s not his job to correct themes, and I’m not a coder.
When creating a room from HBook, the set up is a Page with extended options (like number people, etc). There are usually several menus to the right sidebar when creating a page from the theme (Publish, Feaures, Page Attributes). I can see all but the Page Attributes menu when creating a page/room from the HBook plugin. If I can not see the Page Attributes menu then I can not link this page to a parent page. That means I see this breadcrumb: home/ /room. It is supposed to be linked to parent page Reservation and bread crumbs will read home/reservation/room
see my page link, and the broken breadcrumbs top left under header.
]]>Hi, I’m putting together a site in WordPress using the Seguente theme, which I’m very happy with, but I’m having a couple of display issues:
https://www.haichcounselling.co.uk
1) can I alter the white background opacity of the widgets and main text area so that the background image shows through?
2) it is recommended that I use a header background measuring 1920×200, so I have produced a nice cloud background, but for some reason when I use the image uncropped it looks like a solid block of colour. It looks to me like the header has been zoomed so much that all the detail gets lost; for the meantime I’m using a cropped version of my header background but even those look zoomed and pixellated.
Would be grateful for any help you can provide
]]>Hi there – trying to change the Features title color (I’m assuming this is the “name” of my feature, that’s what i do want to change the color of)
I’m in Customize/Seguente Theme Options/Features Section and i’ve changed the color, saved and published, but it’s still showing up default dark gray.
]]>i’ve set up six services, and “Display Services section” is checked in Seguente theme options, but they do not appear on the home page.
Firefox/Windows 10.
Home Page is using the Home Page template.
]]>Hi there – i have four “features” on my site, which for the moment while i figure out this theme are just using random FontAwesome icons (i’ll make new ones later). These features really only require the few lines of text following them – so is there a way to disable linking?
Since there is also no way to excerpt text on pages that I can see, if I tried to create any additional content on those pages they link to, it shows up on the homepage. i’d rather just disable links entirely if i can.
]]>Hello,
I would like to display services like the demo page.
I have the services box checked for the homepage settings, however nothing appears.
Help?
Thank you
]]>Hello,
In the demo, the “about” section of the homepage is first (after the initial slider).
However in my theme, the about section comes after the features, and there’s no way to customize the order of these elements?
Any help is appreciated.
]]>Hello,
I am trying to make the homepage look like the demo’s. I went through the customizer and see the social link options. In there it says:
Enter your profile URL. To remove it, just leave it blank
But there are no spaces to enter the URLs for social links?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
