This should not be translatable as it has no text and gives errors in GlotPress.
Hello and thank you for such a nice theme. The only issue I am having that I pray you can help me with is: once the picture and or title is clicked on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd widget area, how can I get it to go to the page for that section. Currently, nothing happens when I click on it. This is the only thing I need to be able to present it to the client. The site is https://www.majestidesign.com. I am even willing to pay a support fee if you can show me how to do this quickly because the client wants this up now.
Thanks,
Erica
Has anyone applied the Twenty Twelve theme update with this Restaurant theme? I tried it on a test site, and the text area and menu backgrounds are lost. I haven’t looked into fixing it yet but was curious if anyone else has had a chance to investigate.
Thanks!
First of all I would like to thank all the theme authors for the great job they have done and for the fact they gave it to us for free.
I have several issues with the front widgets: I get them always tiled vertically every time I put into them a title, an image and a link.
I do not get the same issue with the footer widgets.
Why? Is it normal? Do I have to use images smaller thank 310×207?
Is it possible in “estrema ratio” to delete these widgets? How?
Thank you in advance for your kind feedback.
Regards,
Bethelehem
Hi
FIrstly this is great theme! Thanks for developing this. This is very helpful!
This theme is responsive so when I see this in mobile view or narrow width browser “Menu” button appears and I can click.
But when I clicked menu button nothing will be happend.
Is there anyway to solve this problem?
I like the look of the Restaurant theme, but did you know that paragraph breaks in the Visual ditor are not converted to line breaks or
tags? The 2012 parent theme behaves correctly (as do the 2014 and 2014 themes). When I add paragraph breaks in the visual editor, the paragraphs are merged into a single paragraph when displayed.
Can anyone tell me how to fix that? I can use the PS Disable Auto Formatting plugin to mask the issue, but it has negative side effects (sometimes disabling the Visual editor after fixing something in the Text editor).
For an example, this page has 4 paragraphs in the Visual editor: https://letcc.org/lighting-our-future/alumni-activities/ If you view the source, the line breaks are preserved, but no HTML tags are present.
i have a little problem – i’m not using Restaurateur’s food menu plugin – yet i keep getting nagged with this message – “To enable the “Menu Item” custom post type, this theme requires the following plugin: Restaurateur Menu Item CPT.”
when i dismiss it – it disappears only for the session – then returns when i startup again
what am i doing wrong – how can i disable that alert
thanks in advance

I like the front page widgets as they are and just want to replace the text and pictures….. when I drag text box to the widgets in the widget page everything turns to crap
is there a way I can easily edit what’s already there?
I want to know if is possible change the text head with the logo of me enterprise. If is possible can you explain me how?
Thank you.
Is it possible to use an image in one of the footer images? I was hoping to put a logo there, but the image doesn’t show up.
I’m a complete newbie trying to help a non-profit. Please speak slowly and use small words. ??
The restaurant theme looks great and I’ve been able to customize the slider, however I cannot figure out where to customize any of the widgets: header, front or footer. I can override them by dragging another widget such as the page list into a front widget container. How can I just edit the image and text? Is that available somewhere within the theme customizations without having to hack php or css?
Any help would be appreciated. My demo site is at lcc.denran.net.
Menu page width is too wide prices are barely visible.
I just realized that maybe the reason why it stopped working is that I upgraded to 3.7.1
Could that have effected the use of the slider? Or might I have done something else,
I made sure that the parent was in the theme directory
And like I said not sure if I did anything but upgrade wordpress
Any ideas?
Thanks
John
I would like to change the size of the slider images. How could I do this?

I went to appearance – sliders, but there is nothing listed, only the option to add new. The website works with the default slider, but I need to change to custom images.
