Hello everyone!! I would like to hide the widget area that is visible on the desktop from showing up in posts. It’s possible? I’m working with a child theme. I’m not sure which file I need to modify to achieve this.
]]>Hello everyone!! I am working with a child theme and I would like to change the color of the side area where the widgets go. I have tried with the following:
.widget-area {
background-color: #fff;
}
I thought it would work, but it hasn’t. What should I do instead?
]]>Hi! My name is Natalie and I have a problem! I am about to migrate a site from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com. Before doing this I already have the “Publication” Theme installed, which is the one that I will be using. I also installed the Jetpack plugin to get it working properly. Still, when I want to customize the look of my site on www.remarpro.com with and sample page, the “colors” option doesn’t even show up. However, in my wordpress.com account, using the same Theme, it does show up. What could be going on?
P.S: I don’t think it’s a Theme problem, since I’m also doing the same process with a website that uses a Bushwick as a Theme, and that one also have problems concerning “Colors”. Even so, I was recommended to put my concern here.
]]>Hi, I’ve recently downloaded this theme. I do have a problem, I’m not able to change the main column width.
When I create a page (with the title, the body, the header image) it shows me a “compressed” body. The body itself uses a third of the page and there’s now way to change it.
I tried to download a plugin, Fullwidth Page Templates, which allows me to select in the “Page attributes” menu the “FullWidth No Sidebar” option. That’s the only way I can set my body width to full width.
But then, with this technique, the title and the header image disappear.
Is there a way I can use to change this width, even with custom CSS or file modifying?
Hi!
Since a short time I have problems with the title image on the main page, because an old image is displayed but not as usual always the current post image. I have already tried to delete the current post image and reassign, but unfortunately without success.
Is this problem known and what can I do to solve it?
Thanks in advance

]]>Is there any way to move one sidebar on the left and another on the right of the main content in “Publication” Theme?
]]>Hi all and many thanks in advance for your help.
Recently I moved from wordpress.com to siteground with my site, bibliophilia.blog. I wanted to maintain the Publication theme ’cause I really like it and it worked well on the .com.
Yesterday I installed 5 or 6 new plugin on my site and, at a certain point, the primary menu started to not work at all. And, if you would see, the site title now has a white stripe as background, but before it was not so.
I tried to deactivate any plugin but it keeps on not working. Could you please help me?
How do I make the font size of the site description smaller? I’d like it to be the same size as my name on the static home page. Thanks!

Is there a way to move one of the sidebars to the left and shrink it a bit?
Can this be done somehow via a child theme?
Readers eyes are not accustomed to look that much to the left…

Hello all,
I’ve just made a clean install of wordpress 4.4.2 and Publication Theme Version: 1.0.3, and with the help of Custom CSS Manager Plugin, I add the following code :
“
div#primary {
max-width: 870px;
width: 100%;
}
div#secondary {
max-width: 300px;
width: 100%;
}
“
Everything seems like I wanted but the Customization of the Theme.
When I click on “Custom” on the Theme Publication, Choices are
– Site Identity
– Menu
– Widgets
– Static Front Page
I know that Site Logo should appear in Site Identity but it doesn’t…
What should I do?
Thank you in advance for your help,

]]>Hi,
I’m having some issue in rendering Publication on Chrome for Android. Rendering is fine with displays up to 5”, but on 7” or 10” screens I’m seeing the hero image shifted to the left.
You can see an example here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/49378907/20160110_203823.jpg
You can notice that post title is cut because it is starting outside the visible area. Moreover there is a grey vertical bar on the right as the hero image is not filling the display.
Test site showing the proble is at https://preproduzione.ilricettariodianna.com/
Thanks for your help.

And how to remove google font dependencies?
Hey there !
I’m using this Publication theme,on 4.2.1 WP, reading an earlier post about this topic, and wondering how to remove one of the sidebar, to have a content on a larger area, finding this more efficient.
YOu can see how it works on my site , here : https://youresto.com/blog/
Main page is split in 2, with too much large bars on side.
I’ve tried to change CSS as above, unfortunatelly with no change (but on bottom, where no content in the sidebar, sidebar is smaller, but still larger with 2 columns where there is content ( archives, rss, search…)
I’m with the Version: 1.0.2 (Publication Theme)
Where did I go wrong..? TY ??
]]>hello,
I use the Publication theme with a long static page. So I customized the title and the menu toggle to have fixed positions in the viewport when scrolling:
#masthead {position:fixed !important;}
.menu-toggle {position:fixed !important; }
#primary-menu {position:fixed !important; }
The issue is that it seems to need a refresh to correctly show menu items and title.
Thanks if you have an idea of what to do.
Hi,
I really like the theme, but I was wondering if it was possible to remove the ‘Sidebar Two’ area with some CSS code? I’m hoping to widen up the content area, and just have the one sidebar on the right. Hopefully this makes sense.
Many thanks!
Martin
