Hi,
Thanks for this theme!
Search function is not working for pages. I search something, but it only works for blog posts, it does not search page content. How to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
]]>when creating a child theme of presentation-lite (or any other theme for that matter), use the technique outlined in this article if you want to call in both the parent and child style sheets in the child theme and eliminate the use of the @import function. This allows my theme to run quite nicely in IE8, I guess if you do not worry about IE8, then using this method is not as critical. However, this method does not load the CSS styles in an order that loads the child style sheet last. If you want to be able to change any of the previous CSS style code, then you must load the child style CSS file last.
Chris Coyier just wrote an article on his website css-tricks that uses the WordPress plugin called “minqueue”. I tried this and it works nicely to minify and order the CSS files in the order that you want them. If you only include the child theme style.css file in the minqueue input, then that file is last in order of all of the CSS files. Another solution found to my problem,

The child theme has IE8 support and other features.

Can you please advice what we can do to fix that?

]]>I have recently switched my WP theme from ‘Twenty Fourteen’ to ‘Presentation Lite’, but I am unable to render new Page menus on the front page along with Home Menu. I tried creating a new page as well, but unable to render on wordpress theme. It shows only ‘Home’ tab, all others are gone, though after searching in the searc bar, those page do exist. Please check snap shot for more clarity. It shows only ‘Home’, rest are gone.

I have been testing with this theme and have been pleasantly surprised to find that not only is this theme a clone of _s, but seems to be one of the few where the small screen menu will work on IE8+, FF and Chr. I support a curling web site and I know until this year, IE8 users are prevalent on the site. If I am going to convert the site to WordPrss, then the site needs to be IE8 user-friendly.
