Hello,
I am having an issue that was not always a problem but only has been as of lately. It seems like the text on the pages of the website do not understand when to create a new line. They also will go behind widgets and other items on the page, more or less causing the reader to have to keep scrolling right for a while to read it all. I tried to add a picture here but it might just be easier to go to the website.
The website is Poseidon Theme on WordPress 6.6.2.
One thing to mention, at the Top Right of the page there is a Globe that you can use for translation into other languages. When I used that, the text fields automatically fix themselves. I have tried to disable this widget but that did not resolve the issue.
Another user took a look and suggested I open up a thread in this group. Here are his comments:
“I can only reproduce what you see if I switch off JavaScript in my browser. Then I see that your theme probably uses some kind of preloader to adjust the formatting of the texts. Without the preloader, this does not happen and the texts run across the entire screen.”

]]>When I’m using static homepage on a site with a Poseidon theme, it doesn’t show widgets that I put in a “Magazine Homepage”. If I switch to “latest posts” widgets display properly. Any idea how to solve this problem?
]]>All posts and pages on jamoroki.com have suddenly started displaying across the whole width of a page view. Previously there was 2cm margin on each side. Ther must be a setting somewhere but I can’t find it.

]]>Currently using Poseidon Theme for my blog. All of the featured images on my posts are very slightly blurry. Have taken them with a good camera and uploaded in at least 960×640 dimensions, so don’t understand why the featured image isn’t showing correctly. Photos in the body of my posts are fine, even in cases where the same image has been used (see attached link).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hope all is well. I tried research this a bit but the research brought me to this thread. I have a WP Website in the Poseidon theme. I reached out to a local company that does work with websites and getting them to appear in Google since I feel like I do not get enough views in Google via searches. They informed me that they are not really able to do anything since my theme is Poseidon. They told me if I went to Divi that they could help with my request and get me more exposure.
My question is, since I am using the Poseidon theme on my website, is it actually holding me back like they are saying it is and I actually need to switch to something else like Divi or is that just a sales pitch like I feel like it might be?

From looking at my Google Search Console dashboard, I can see that the user experience on mobile is fine, but on desktop it’s very bad. Google Search Console says “100% URLs with a good page experience on mobile”, but just “9.3% good URLs on desktop”.
According to GSC, I have 143 failing URLs on desktop right now (04/01/2023), which has me worried.
According to Google Search Console, the issue is related to ‘CLS issue: more than 0.25 (desktop)’, as shown here – https://i.ibb.co/d7d5zcJ/CLS-issue.png
Using this page as an example – https://www.gadgetmouse.com/best-handheld-grass-trimmers/ – I have placed that through an experience tool, GTmetrix.

So my question is: Please can you help me improve the user experience on desktop?

]]>Hi, I’ve been setting up a new site using the Poseidon theme. It was going okay until I looked at one of my Woocommerce pages where there are a number of display problems.
I noticed in another thread that you had mentioned Poseidon was not an ecommerce site, and you suggested using Onepress; but Onepress does not seem to available in your theme list. do you have a theme which will work well with Woocommerce?

]]>Ich habe einen kleinen Reiseblog, in dem ich mehr für mich selber Reisetagebuch führe. Die Seite basiert auf einer Website mit einem gehosteten WordPress Paket und verwendet seit Jahren das Theme Poseidon.
Vor wenigen Tagen habe ich feststellen müssen, dass der altbekannte Font (ich glaube es war der Font Ubuntu), in dem die Seite dargestellt wird, offenbar nicht mehr verwendet wird. Stattdessen wird die Seite nun mit einem schn?den Arial oder Helvetica o.?. dargestellt. Ich wei? leider nicht mehr so genau, ob es nach dem letzten Upgrade der WordPress Version auf 6.1 oder beim letzten Upgrade des Themes Poseidon auf die aktuelle Version passiert ist oder gar nichts damit zu tun hat. Ich würde nur gerne wieder von dem Font Arial/Helvetica runterkommen und das altbekannte lieb gewonnene Design zurückbekommen.
Gibt es eine M?glichkeit, das hinzukriegen?

It appears to be inline style css:

Obviously it is the “border: 6px solid red !important;” that’s the issue but which file is this hardcoded in please?

You can chose not to have the featured image in the beginning of posts but it still shows in pages. Which is ugly…
Can you change this?
Or is there a way to remove it?
When I share a post with others, the image on the link doesn’t match the feature image that I set for the post. It’s also not an image included in the post. It’s just a random image and all my posts have this random image when shared. Please help! Thanks.

I used to use classic editor but just recently changed to wp block editor. I have two issues below:
1.Set the theme to a customized font: I have Easy Google Font plugin, already set up the theme to Vernada 18px as customized font. However, in the writing it always apear as Ubuntu 13px. What should I do to solve?
2.Theme responsive to Iphone: after changing to wp block editor, the theme is not responsive with Iphone X. pls advice

After update to 2.3.3 version i met some problems with picture size. Some of pictures become wider than text. This problem appear only on mobile devices. I checked Firefox and Chrome. Whole page is wider and hamburger menu button is not visible – need to swipe and move page to side to see it.
Before update it was ok. Pictures are allign to center. When I allign picture to left it is ok. Picture is scalled down to site size.
How can I fix it without changing allign?
I have implemented AMP via WordPress AMP plugin and theme that supports AMP version. I have spent much time on shaping this theme to look how I want it to look, but I have one problem I do not even know where to start fixing it, it possibly could be something easy.
I am using Auto Ads and Auto AMP Ads, however on desktop version, or non AMP version of the site, I don’t see the problem, while loading an AMP mobile version makes site (page) to shift / blink layout, and only when Google Kit is enabled (when google ads are present).
I know I have to fix it with CSS, or something similar, to stop google ads resizing page.
For me it looks like AdSense loads its CSS before my page loads its CSS, and blinks few times until everything is solved and page shows as it should, but this is pretty annoying and I wish to fix it if it is possible.
