Hello

I’m looking at the difference between your demo home page, and demo gallery page and can see that the home page has a link to a blog post underneath the first 3 images.
The gallery page does not have this, it just has images.

How do I get my home page to look like that?

At the moment I’ve created lots of new posts each with a featured image and so my home page is looking almost like I want it, except I DON’T want a big link to one of my posts.
I just want the grid of photos.

How do I achieve this?

I was looking for a template with black background and White tex. Here, at www.remarpro.com forum I was suggested to have a look at this Portfolio Gallery.
It looks really nice and promising, thank you!

Why trying to customise it I have got questions.

Widgets I put in the primary and secondary area are not shown. How may I make them visible?

Is the template compatible with Polylang?
How and where to place the language switcher?

How may I remove the yellow border around pictures?

How can all the yellow (like links) be changed to White?

Is it compatible with Modula plugin ?

I’ve noticed it’s been quite some time since an update has been released for this theme. Is it still being supported?

firefox on mobile phone shows a smaller imagesize and a bigger fontsize. all words are out of picture with a half.

chromes view is good.

i need a option for change firefox view. a possible soltiin here, to show desktopsite in firefox mobile.

another option change font size and picture size.

hope you have ideas for me.

since WP update to 4.9.6 the Social Media Icons and Icons inside the Gallery are mising, there is only an Icon like this >> (?) << visseble. Is there anythink possible to fix this?

When I click on a thumbnail from a post on the front page it opens in a lightbox but not get any bigger, even though the image in the media library is a larger size.

Hi, When I try to upload a new background image for the menu I am directed to the standard image upload screen for including an image in a new post. The method advised previously on this forum of going to General – Media – Menu Background Image – Upload is not working for me as described above. Can you please take a look as the same operation for the Background Image of the main page works as I would expect. Many thanks – Dave

But I have a small Problem:
I want to insert a GoogleMap to the Footer of my Website… If I try via “Customize” to change the Footer and insert any Shortcode (from the GoogleMaps WordPress Plugin) it just shows me the plain Text (“[shortcodeText]”) instead of the Map itself… I tried several plugins with shortcodes and it seems that the Footer is “out of the loop” and cannot ‘solve’ Shortcodes… Is there any way to place a GoogleMap in the footer? (iFrame did not work for me too :()

I have a few category pages and the first post showing on all of them does not have a link to the post or any link at all like the others. When you hover over over the heading it shows the link at the bottom of the browser like it wants to go to the post but does not go anywhere or act at all like a link.

How could I fix this?

How do you achieve the homepage layout shown in the demo screenshot?

It seems to have the featured post on Row 2, so must therefore be set to grid view.
Yet the images on rows 1,3,4 & 5 rather than being square thumbnails as per the grid layout are rectangular suggesting the setting is masonry. How is this achieved.

Also how can you increase the height of the row displaying the featured post? I have tried resizing the image and adjusting the max width in the Featured post settings but its remains less than that of the images on the rows above and below.

I am a newbie in the Portfolio Gallery and wonder how I can view captions and descriptions of the images. My work flow is the following: In Lightroom I assign keywords, caption, description etc. Then I upload the images to the WP Media library and create galleries on different pages which are posted. However when I open a page in Portfolio Gallery I cannot see any captions nor description. What is wrong?

Can homepage user filter the mosaic by select category of posts?

I’m trying to work out how to get the category pages to display mosaic as the homepage does.

I have seen the other topic, but the answers aren’t clear to me.

I have pages, that link to the categories via ‘page links to’

When I go on the categories in admin area there isn’t an option to change the theme template. When I do it on the pages that link to the categories, it makes no difference (which I didn’t think it would)

I’m using the pro version.

I really need an idiot’s guide.

How can I change the number of posts shown on homepage to two per row?
I would also want to enlarge the thumbnails to take up the entire row.
where in the theme or code can I do that?

I figured out how to change the background image, but can’t seem to find where to change the “Gallery” logo. I also accidentally deleted the home page, is there a way to relink it to a new home page?

Hi – thanks for the great and well structured theme.
Having a problem with the ratio for the featured images to display on the front page.
ie: all of our images are in a square picture frame. Seems regardless of size we make the picture, the y are being cutoff either top or sides.
Ideally we would like the whole picture in the grid.
Is there a ratio we need to match or is this dynamic?

how do i control the crop of the picture that the mosaic presents?

Hello! I love this theme, I love how the homepage mosaic works, and want to replicate it, by category…but I can��t find how to do that.

If I click on a category name, and show all the post of that specific category, I just see a “regular” list of posts, one down the other. I want it to show just the same mosaic of the homepage, but filtered by that category. (And maintain the all posts mosaic in the homepage).

I know I can configure the homepage mosaic to filter by one or more categories, so it is possible to filter.

I also know the file that loads the category is archive.php, I tryed to copy the piece of code that creates the mosaic from homepage.php to archive.php, and ok, it works fine but showing all the post…how can I make it filter by the selected category?

I hope this can be done.
