i wanted to use this theme, it says it comes with a sidebar but the sidebar only shows on posts, not on the homepage (latest posts feed) is this right or is there an error? i need the sidebar so its a dealbreaker.

Is it possible for the slider to autoplay?

I’ve been using Polite Plus for roughly 3 years. My website is now getting mobile usability errors from Google Search Console, appearing as “text too small to read” and “Clickable items too close together.

The screenshot the Google bots reply with shows the issues have to do with my menu. I upped the text size (now at 18 px) and am still getting this error.

Is this something other users have experienced before, and if so, what are the best practices to get past this error?

Some thumbnails/featured images on the homepage cover the text above. It’s even worse on mobile! This is seriously affecting the user experience of my site. I’ve tried googling solutions for the past 2 hours but found nothing specific to this issue. Can anyone help? How do I fix this?

Hello, I just installed the Polite theme and I noticed a social sharing bar just before the comments on all my posts. I looked around the theme editor and researched how to disable it, but I could not find anything.

Is this related to the Polite Theme and if so, is there any way I can edit or remove this? Thanks.

When I use Polite theme, I have some problems with my site, could you help me to fix this?
When I open my site in mobile phone, some images & captions are not display full, but I cant fix it.
Otherwise, Image captions are always in the left, so I added some code in additional CSS to center it.

It occurs when saving a page.

I already disabled all plugins, reinstalled my WordPress-Version (5.8), and tried to track down to the root cause. After removing some parts of the page it saved, but after adding some mere letters, the error appeared again.

After activating debug-log level, I get the following messages in the debug-log:

PHP Notice: Trying to access array offset on value of type null in /wp-content/themes/polite/templatesell/filters/excerpt.php on line 29

Could you pls help me with that, to find out, what causes the issue?

It’s possible to add telegram button to social menu?

Hi Team,

I recently started using your theme on my WordPress blog. Now, though I love the entire look and feel of your theme, there are two primary concerns that bug me. I hope you’ll be able to help me out with the same:

#1. On the desktop version, there are 3-lines present (on the left side) on my “primary menu” which when tapped open “Recent Posts” and “Most Used Categories”.
The same lines are present on the mobile version too.

Please suggest a relevant code to remove it?

#2. On the Mobile version, because of the above 3-liners, my hamburger menu icon is center-aligned. Post removal of the above 3-lineres, how can I move my hamburger menu icon on the left side?
Please do suggest me a relevant code for it too.

How do you enable sidebar in this theme? Not a sticky, just a normal sidebar.

I put stuff in the sidbar widget holder and there is nothing on the front.

Nothing I do gets a sidebar on the inner pages even tho I have recent posts in the widget

I’ve been at this for hours trying to figure out why it’s not working. How do I get this feature to work properly? And how can I create a customized slider?

When I select a drop down item, it “drops up” like it was already dropped down (but it wasn’t). I have to select it a second time to actually drop down. Any way this can be fixed?

I have installed the ‘Polite’ theme on one of my websites. It looks awasome on my video blog! However, it has a small flaw which I would like to correct: the embeded youtube videos do not show in their original size(s). The theme pushes them from their original 3:4 landscape format to a 2:4 panorama format on the post pages. I don’t like this and hope you’ll take your time to tell me to correct this?

Hi there. I really like your theme and I am thinking about purchasing the pro version. I saw in your demos that the sticky menu works on desktop views. But when I would try it on the mobile view it would stop being sticky. Does your theme support sticky menus for the mobile view?

The sidebar on the search results page causes everything to compress towards the left while leaving ample whitespace (in between the sidebar and the results). It’s not terrible on desktop but on mobile, it ends up being one character per line.

Hi All,

It seems that the HTML links I have added to my site within the blog posts don’t work on mobile. I have only tried this on an iphone using the safari browser, but they are just not showing as clickable links. The links work fine from desktop.
