This theme maker is probably no longer in business. Even the newest of the themes they sell on their homepage is 4 years old, the Point theme is prepared according to the old 1366 x768 screen resolution, laptops with this resolution screen are not sold anymore, so why is this important when you open themes prepared 4 years ago on a screen with full HD resolution;

1. They are too narrow
2. The font is too small to read

In short, stay away from outdated themes, we used to love them, but we will no longer use any theme from this theme maker. Support is long gone.

How concerned do I need to be on updating the Point theme from v2.0 to v2.1.1?

I have a client using Point, which is a very nice theme. But, there is a weird twist. There are two or three months of posts where the Comment form does not show. Comments are turned on for those posts. Not only did I reset it in the dashboard, I checked the database, and commenting is on.

There is a comment in the HTML: <!– You can start editing here. –>. On the pages with the comment form, it’s below that HTML comment. The pages without the comment form have the HTML comment, but no form.

How do I turn on comments for those specific posts?

Can this be done in the Customizer? It’s easy enough to comment out the code, but I want my client to be able to see where it is done properly.

Hi, i want to create a new tab like “General Tab” in the homepage of point demo. I don’t have panel option in my wordpress and my widget only able to manage sidebar.

Is there any way i can edit my homepage? It’s only showing the “Latest” tab.

I have 3 WordPress blogs:

These are all Recruitment blogs. Anyway, BioTechPharmJobs is fine.

However, the other 2 – the footer is not appearing on ANY of the pages. I’m trying to figure out how / why this could be.

When I go to Customize > Menus – and look at it – the Footer appears.

But when I visit the page – it doesnt. Something is suppressing the footer on both MobileWirelessJobs.com & blog.NJJobMarket.com but I can’t figure out what.

All 3 blogs use WP 4.8.3 version and the Point Theme.

Any ideas?

how you can change the font size in this Theme? Especially for H1, H2, H3 etc The Theme customize has the option to include your own custom CSS, but it doesn’t work.

Is there a way to get the small triangle to always show when a menu-item has children? When a menu-item whith children is selected it dissapears..

Also, when an item is selected (with children items) there is a grey line at the bottom.. how to remove it..? The line is not there when an item (with no children) is selected..

I am running WP 4.7.3 with Point Theme.

I am new in WordPress, I need a little help with this theme. After create some posts, I tried to add 2 categories in each post. 1st Category (Primary) is a Language and the 2nd is company name.

When I published the posts, I found a behavior that I do not know how to fix, my blog shows over the Feature image a tag, that usually should be the same at the category, but how I have 2 categories for each post, it is selected by alphabetic order. Example, I have a Category called VoyagePrive and other called FRENCH, the result will be a post with the blue tag “FRENCH” , but I have 1 other category called ASOS, so when I create a new post and setup 2 Categories ASOS+FRENCH, it will show the blue tag over the featured image, with the word ASOS instead FRENCH.

I am not sure if my english was enough to explain, have you any help ?

In my main menu some of the top-level menu items have submenus. When I go to the mobile view the slide is not working correctly. I think it’s the event handler for the $(‘.toggle-caret’).click event handler in /themes/point/js/customscripts.js?ver=20120212. The handler is toggling the slide state. I think that the code needs to check if the event source has child elements, and not toggle if it does.

Is this possible?

with update to 2.0.3 point version, galleries are not displayed correct. Behaviour can be seen with WP 4.7.2 and older 4.4.7. With the combination WP 4.4.7 and Point 1.2.7 the behaviour was correct.
Problem: only 2 columns will be shown, even if 3 or more columns are configured. During editing the clumns are displayed ok. But after publishing and even after generating the final preview, only two columns are visible.
How to solve this issue?

However, when I just updated the theme to the latest version, the formatting of the menu went all weird.

When making use of the theme Point and changing the opacity of the class main-container through the Plugin custom css, the whole mobile menu disappears. Hope you can help me find a work around for it, cause I need the opacity to be changed.
