is there any way to get support for woocommerce in this theme? I have had the theme on my site for a long time but now I would like to add a small woocommerce shop on top. Is this possible? it Seems like it is lacking some template files and other things.

Hi, I’d like to change the default size of the header image. The Theme recommends 300px and I’d like it to be 1200px.

I’ve a child theme. I’ve been looking at the original functions.php and found this (only quoting relevant lines!):

I tried changing the values in the child’s functions.php with no success (adding another hookup ‘after_theme_setup’), I even tried changing the values in the original functions.php, at least to see what happens, but the behavior continue the same…

Hi, I’m trying to change the colors of the menu of your theme PATH, using a child theme. You can see what I’m doing at https://www.jabadlaplata.org.ar (in spanish).

I’m having the following problem:
When I change the background color of the secondary menu (the only one I’m using) and the color of the text, it comes out that when you hover the menu, it looses the functionality of changing the current item color to white.

I’m not sure if I’m making myself clear, so I’ll give you an example:
In my website, go to menu “Nosotros” and a drop down list is going to appear. When you browse the list, each item becomes white. That’s great!
Now, if I change the color of the menu from red to black, for instance, then the functionality of the curent item turning white is lost.

I tried to twinkle the styles.css file in my child theme with no success…

I’d like the menu to be black text, when an item is selected, the background of that item on black, with white text.

Could you help me? Thank you!!

Since updating to 4.2.2 I’ve lost the “Submit” button for post comments. None of my users can post comments to any of my posts. The comment box is there (they can type a comment) but they have no way to submit.

I’m using the Path theme.

How do I change the copyright date in this theme? I can’t find the language in the Footer file anywhere. Thank you.

Hi Sami and team–I have been using Path Child (v.0.1) with Path Theme (v.0.2.1.2) for a long time, and I like it fine. My designer made it look a little different, but it’s been that way for a long time with no problems. I am using WP 4.1 in a multi-site installation with about 7 websites. The main site is https://www.clarendon.org

I added some media images today, and the media editor in WP isn’t working…there is just a little icon where the image is supposed to be. My other multi-site sites use old standard WP themes, 2011 and 2012, and the media editor works fine on those. I turned off my plugins, and still couldn’t edit media in Path. I replaced Path with 2015 Theme, and the media editor works. Turned my plugins back on, and the media editor works in 2015, but it doesn’t work in Path any more. Any ideas about how to fix this?

I’ve reinstalled wordpress but still there are problems when posting comments to my blog. You enter your comment press OK then you land on another post with that comment.

I’ve replaced the entire theme, removed path-child and reinstalled WP but the problem persists. I’ve removed every plugin too.

I am working with the child Path theme and I added and edited a new page. Somehow the comments are not disabled. The screen options show that the ‘comments’ box is unchecked. My other pages don’t show comments but have similar settings as my new page.

I disabled all the plugins, but even then the comments won’t go away. I don’t know where it is going wrong now. Is there something I overlooked somewhere? Thanks!

I just installed the Path Child theme:

I changed the header image trying to fill the entire width of the page; now I’m using a 1920px width image but I cannot find the right way to use a 100% size of the image – I guess now it is setted to 96%. Where should I put the code and which code should I use?

In the same moment, I also would decrease the space between that image and the secondary menu (in red, below the image).

I am having an issue with the slider showing up on the assigned page for the blog of my site (dev.tspkey.com) The single post page does not have it as well. I can create one manually if I know the code snippet for that in an alternate view. However, ideally it would work within the theme. I have seen some posts for other themes but I haven’t seen anything yet in the forum that addresses my issue. Thanks.

What plugin should I use with Path if I want visitors to my site to know they can easily contribute and subscribe?

Hello I’ve been seeing these errors from my Google Webmaster Tools and have looked around online for solutions. The solutions provided online indicate to change a few things in certain files which I cannot find anywhere within the theme.

They mainly point out the single.php file.

WARNING: MISSING REQUIRED FIELD “UPDATED“
To solve this find,

and replace it with
<span class=”post_date date updated”><?php the_time(‘j F,Y’); ?></span>

To solve this,

When I create a post and include hyperlinks within the post content, they disappear as links in the summary format on the homepage.
However, they are maintained if you view the post’s page.
Is there some way to keep them in the summary format?

For example: See the “In March, Brian Honigman Taught AAF Jackson about Native Advertising” post. Note: “Brian Honigman” and “Slideshare” are both supposed to be links. > https://aafjackson.org

Multiple users are complaining that after the switch, site has become really slow. Problem is, I can confirm this if using webdeveloper tools to measure how fast page loads.
I only use the most basic plugins (latest posts, most read, archive)

I’m using the Revolution Slider plugin, which provides a widget to be dragged onto a sidebar area. I’ve placed it on the ‘before content’ sidebar, but I’m just given a blank box on my homepage (https://istudyenglishonline.com/).

Localization gives the following message:

Compatibility: Loading Issue: Author is using load_textdomain instead of load_theme_textdomain or load_child_theme_textdomain function. This may break behavior of WordPress, because some filters and actions won’t be executed anymore. Please contact the Author about that.

It is also impossible to translate the theme using Localization.
Added a new language (set in wpconfig and works fine with other themes) scanned the code, entered translations but nothing.

Maybe this is a question for Path theme and not for the plugin guys.

I am using “User Submitted Posts” plugin and like to hack the Path child theme do display custom field “user_submit_name” in the published post, so it looks like:

“user_submit_name here” writes: Blaa blaa blaa aka what ever he wrote

I’m having trouble with the secondary menu.

Is there any way to add a search bar there that is compact and all horizontal (I had a plugin that had the search bar then the submit button below that took up a lot of space). I would rather have the search bar with a submit button to the right or it.

I know this sounds trivial but it’s driving me crazy! Does anyone have any tips?

We would like to make the header picture a little bigger and ideally in the centre, can anyone help?

Neither of us are familiar with code but can navigate the editor and change whatever we need to change if someone can instruct us!

The only other thing we would like to remove is the page name that appears on each page in red above our text in the in the text box.

It is now getting frustrating as we are more used to engines and machines than web speak and coding!! ??
