Since wordpress update 5.5 the theme top menu disappaeras after a split second and is replaced by the word “MENU”… My site now no longer has a menu ??
What can I do to solve this?
Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Ronald
It appears that Paraxe theme hasn’t been updated for over 2 years. Currently using WP 5.2.2 and my drop down menu no longer works. Does anyone know if there is another theme that’s like Paraxe that’s a bit more recent?

Since I figured out how to remove the sidebar, I seem to have the issue of the main content on the posts that is causing scroll bars because of the width I use.
How can I widen the main content area so the scroll bars don’t show?
I don’t know if this is correct for “this specific theme”, but this is what I am using under custom css:
#secondary {
display: none;
}
.main-content-inner.col-sm-12.col-md-8.pull-left {
width: 100%;
}

Is it possible to add in hard-coded text on to a posts page? If so, which file would I edit to do this? I want to add some specific text on to the posts pages, but not have it show up on the posts preview.

Hi,
I am asking this because on the https://rohitink.com (designers) website forum it was said on the 19th March that the problem with not being able to show an icon in the title would be sorted out with a new release the next day. I asked on the 25th March what was happening and that the quick fix did not work for me but the comment is still awaiting moderation. The timescale may not be long for the designer but it does not take a few minutes to reply. Also the does not appear to be any activity here for 4 months
Hello,
Does anyone know a documentation for this theme?
Can you at least tell me what size you use for featured images?
Thanks in advance.
I upgraded to the Paraxe Pro, and it worked for a while, but now the Customize button does not work. It just acts like it is constantly loading but never gets there. I moved back to the regular Paraxe version, and everything works. But on the Pro version i was able to create the small boxes on the front page, and I cannot figure out how to do this on the free version. Can you help me find out why the Pro version is not working? My site is https://www.svealumni.org. Also I want to remove the “Leave a Reply” at the bottom of each page. How can I do that?
Bawdidy1 proposed a solution in the post “Scroll bars in der Parallax Box” but one either has to modify the file “wp-content\themes\paraxe\assets\css\main.css” or play with the custom css. The solution is good when in the main.css file the parallax-zone is changes to overflow: scroll to auto.
But I would rather make those changes in a child theme, so I created a valid child theme: “child-paraxe”.
Then, I tried to create a file in the child theme “wp-content\themes\child-paraxe\assets\css\main.css” with 1) only the proposed modifications, then 2) copying the whole main.css file with the proposed chages. None of these solution worked, I still have the white bands.
QUESTION: in what file and in which directory should the changes appear in a child theme?
Is it possible to create a new page template, in a chld theme, for Paraxe?
How should it be named, where should it be located and from which template should it take most of its attribute so it would appear along with the default and full-width models on the page attribute when we create or modify a page? Thanks!
The title of any Page does not show on a line of its own as it does for Posts.
Instead, the title appear on the first line of text, beneath the text, so the first line of text is not readable! I am using WordPress in French; I do not believe that makes a difference as it never did before with any other theme. I am now testing Paraxe in a local mode.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
Could it be that the template “page-fullwidth.php” is missing before it calls the_title ? I tried a child theme with this modification and it seems to works, but is the right way to do it?
My website is https://www.adventuresaroundputnam.com and I just started using your theme. Lots of compliments already. Thanks. I have a widget on the top-right of the home page, a “Search by Topic” box. The color of the menu items is a light gray, and people have said its hard to see. Is there a way to darken it or change the color?
I am using the responsive Paraxe theme and have upgraded to the Paraxe Pro Version 2.1.1 in order to use the drop-down menu when the site is viewed on a mobile. However, the menu box and drop-down text look very ‘nasty’ and I want to change the background colour to black, the font colour to the theme yellow #FAD269, colour of box border to black; and to remove the buttons that show on a mobile phone ….
The site I’m working on is https://yonapaintings.com/
I’ve inspected the relevant element and can adjust it there to what I want, but don’t know how/where to actually edit the code.
This is the adjustment I made in the Inspection view in Chrome:
element.style {
display: inline-block;
}
yonapaintings.com/media=”all”
input, button, select, textarea {
font-family: inherit;
font-size: inherit;
line-height: inherit;
}
yonapaintings.com/media=”all”
button, select {
text-transform: none;
}
yonapaintings.com/media=”all”
button, input, optgroup, select, textarea {
/* color: inherit; */
background-color: #FAD269;
/* background-color: #000000; */
color: #000000;
font: inherit;
margin: 0;
}
… although I wasn’t able to find out where to change the colour of the box border from blue to black.
Any advice would be a huge help. Thanks
Hello,
Does anyone know how I can change the colour scheme of this beautiful theme?
