I’ve been using Parabola for about a year. I post all sorts of things, and wanted a menu system that enabled my site to display what’s available in a logical, easy to comprehend manner. Parabola was easy to set up. It appears to work with the new WP Editor, as I have not had any problems in that area.
My posts are text, mostly. I write stories, poems and essays. I have put a few public domain photos in some of my posts. But mostly it’s a varied assortment of text based posts. So…I would like my readers to be able to find the story or post easily. The menu system makes that happen.
Also, there’s no clutter. I put a couple of ‘widgets’ on one side and the menu is at the top of the page. It’s easy to read the stories. It would be nice to change background for each post, but I have not figured out how to do that.

I use Parabola on one client site and loved it so much I use it on one of my own sites.
Like all Cryout Creations themes, it is endlessly flexible and solidly coded. Looks perfect on all devices. Loads quickly.
Cryout Creations support is fantastic. Even on free themes (and I use the free versions, but I also pay for the premium support in cases because this group deserves the support) they respond quickly to inquiries and provide full information when the problem is something they cannot fix.
Recommend this theme and this developer without hesitation.

Like most people I have tried out several themes. Since the start of the year, about 8 or 10 themes. Each time I settle on one I change my mind further down the line and go hunting for that perfect theme again…
I have found it! At last.

I really tried a lot of themes… but no one really satisfied my requirements…
When I found Parabola theme, I immediatly realized (watching the infinite possibiities of customize the theme in the panel of settings) that I was in front of my favorite theme of all time!
I’m still a newbie with wordpress, but as long as I start to use better wordpress and this theme, and it will be really useful also for some projects future… be sure that I will support this and purchase by all means!
Please support and share to others, so that it can last a lot of time!
A note to the developer: please, advertises more this theme, I’m sure many, many people still don’t know about it! The more people are aware of this, the more will thanks you and support you! Don’t forget!

I was searching through themes for awhile. Nothing had all the features I wanted until I found Parabola. At first I settled for Parabola, thinking it was just the closest to what I wanted. Then, after playing with the settings off and on for a week, I found it has everything I wanted and more!
First I played in the customize settings you reach from the theme page. Originally I thought that was it. Then I found under Appearance a Parabola Settings and was blown away by what I could do.
One thing I can’t seem to find out how to do. The title of my posts seem to remain a dark grey. I’d love to change it to white if someone can point out how to do that?
Another thing I would love is the background of the header seems to only be able to be a color. If you look at my site, you’ll see how the background stops and its just black at the top. I would love to have my background image all the way up! Please let me know if this can be done and if it can’t, please add it.
