I use Parabola often. I have two current sites:

On Dancing Duo, there is an empty box just at the bottom of the page that I cannot figure out. I’ve populated widgets to see what shows up there- nothing. I can’t find a way to eliminate it either.
On Grants Voice, using the same layouts (as much as I can figure out) that box is not there. Don’t know what I did differently.

I am trying to change some texts spacing or padding on a form, the form plugin maker claims it can only be changed via the theme, but when I add the css to the theme customizer and refresh it does not change?
Any advise or suggestions appreciated.

My client hasn’t noticed yet but the Presentation slider is not showing the images or the text put in the settings section. The images are in the library but no longer display. I’m not seeing any indicators on why it would be missing.

I was brave enough to update to the latest v2.4 but my website’s design got broken.
The little boxes in the bottom right corner of the menu items were gone. The beveled edge when indicating if the blog post has comments was gone and the header widget was no longer displaying properly. I downgraded to v2.3.2.2 and since then everything is as before.
Could you please take a look at this? I have also not found any release notes for v2.4.

I’m trying to do some minor maintenance on my site, which uses Parabola.
The site utilises a drop-down menu for categories in the “Primary Navigation” location. However, currently there’s no background on that menu, so the text in it overlaps the content of the page which is still visible underneath (which makes it hard to read).
This seems like it should be something that’s easy to sort out, but I can’t find any clear option in the settings to find how to do it.
Will be grateful for any ideas!
]]>91 pages on my website show as having multiple h1 tags. When you go into the html on the page, there is only one h1 tag.
I want to type in my title and set the h1 tag myself. How do I do that without the search engines showing multiple h1 tags?

]]>Adding a wp-block-code to a page in Parabola causes all the text in it to be on a single line, instead of being on multiple lines like in other styles. It seems that Parabola has no support for the WordPress block model, as I could not find a rule that checks for “.wp-block-code code”, only for “.entry-content code”. Are there any plans to fix this?
]]>The ‘top’ property of each article block was calculated before the responsive video iframe height was adjusted. After the video iframe was adjusted, the height of the article block was shortened that leave a large gap between the article block underneath.

Is it possible to add a graphic to the white area surrounding the header? Above the main background image, around the header, there is white space that could have been filled with something.

]]>Although in the parabola-settings the postauthor is set to hidden it’s still included in metadata in the HTML. There is a span with
class=”author vcard”
Origin of that seems to be parabola_meta_before() in
wp-content/themes/parabola/includes/theme-loop.php
Above $author_string the comment says
“If author is hidden don’t give it a value”
But the value is set unconditionally. Manually setting that string to empty works, of course. So I guess there is an option-condition missing?

I’d like to modify the slider without being logged as an administrator.
If I could add / delete / modify the slides as a simple editor, it would be great !
But the slider setup happens in “Parabola Settings”, among many other settings, and only the administrator can access it.
I don’t want the editor to access ALL these settings, because it could seriously mess up with the theme, just the slider.
Is there a way to achieve that ?

]]>Parabola chooses an image from each post and shows it alongside post summary in blog post list which is cool but my problem is the size of this image which has far larger dimensions than the original uploaded one. For example I upload an 200px*200px image but parabola shows that in 800px*800px dimensions which is bad looking. I up-dated my WP version to the last one (5.2) and for some reason all widgets are not working any more. I mean, I can enter in the widget areas but I simply can’t open, add, modify or cancel any thing that is already there.
All functions and plugins seems to be ok, only this problem came up after I did the up-fate.
Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

I just updated the theme to 2.3.2 and my site seems to be broken now.
Both in the backend as in the frontend there is the word “read” visable in the top of the pages and in the backend the widgets are not shown correctly.

2.введение РНР кода. Где взять его я знаю, но куда вставлять??? В панели страницы презентации я такого окошка не вижу. Так понимаю, что нужно вводить в сам код? Тогда где он?

It looks like the Parabola theme is no longer compatible with the Square plugin for WooCommerce. Is the theme expected to be updated soon, or is there another solution?
]]>I host several sites, but only the one with this theme gets the “Connection is not Secure” error – and it makes the site look like garbage. I’ve been all over trying to figure out why. It is routing to https:// so there is no reason outside of the theme for it to error like this. I can turn off the security via the browser, but that does not fix the issue for all others who browse to my site. What is going on?

the theme is great, but it is forcing links around images. The result are linked images and not titles. For example categories in woocommerce – only a picture of the category is clickable not name of cagetory.

Hi all,
I removed an AMP plugin a while back, but anytime I try and update a page on my website it displays an AMP page or an error page! When I click the url it doesn’t show amp within the url, so I’m confused! I’ve tried clearing cache through Autoptimise and WP Fastest Cache plugin, but with no success.
This is really frustrating, as I can’t update my website. Desktop versions are not effected, as this error started when I installed the AMP plugin about a year ago!
I’ve tried setting up a re-direct, but this hasn’t worked either.
Is there a way that I can correct this? Any feedback or help would be really appreciated ??

]]>Recently I noticed that my home page’s (presentation page) slider images do not slide properly on mobile devices. The first image will be enlarged and stay while the other images are slide over. ]]>I’m using the Parabola theme to create my website and I need your help to be able to change a part of the home page that I do not like how it looks and can not be removed.
On my homepage, on the middle part, I have some images that when you click on them, they take you to the corresponding page and, below, I have a box where the pages are opened.
I would like to be able to change two things.
First, remove the box where the pages are displayed and make the pages appear under the menu.
Then, the images that I have put with links, when I open a new window, they stay there and do not disappear.
Could you help me?.
