In my Homepage can’t showing slides. When I logged in, Slides properly show but when I checked it in incognito it’s not showing.

Thank you for your theme. How can I make the page name appear at the top of the pages as the title? Currently, I see breadcrumbs then the page contents, but no title like they appear on the posts.

The WooCommerce breadcrumbs do not match Origamiez theme breadcrumbs. The WooCommerce active pages in the breadcrumbs are gray but the origamiez theme active pages in the breadcrumbs are red. How can I change the color of the WooCommerce active page breadcrumb text color to match the Origamiez theme?

The homepage link does not appear in breadcrumbs. It just starts with the category. Here is an example of how it looks ” ? SAMPLE CATEGORY ? SAMPLE POST NAME”. I want to look like this example “HOME ? SAMPLE CATEGORY ? SAMPLE POST NAME” for all pages, including search. Currently search just shows “? SEARCHED FOR “TEST” RETURN 1 RESULTS”. I want search to show “HOME ? SEARCHED FOR “TEST” RETURN 1 RESULTS” in the breadcrumbs. How can I fix this?

I want to build a page layout that contains the left sidebar and add the page content to the right. I tried to remove this:

<?php get_sidebar('right'); ?>

In the template-page-three-cols-slm.php file. It removed the right sidebar, but now I’m stuck with a left sidebar and a tiny content, and a blank space on the right. How can I make it so the left sidebar is say, 20%, and the content 80% width? I tried to edit the css but no success.

Can you please advice?

I am using a static home page. I had it in place before I used this theme.
1). There are 2 Home links in the breadcrumb nav – only on the home page view. They both go to the same place. Home>Home

2). The name of the Home page displays on the Home page. “Home”

It seems like the static home page is acting like a regular page, not the index page.

Hi there! On all the examples I see of this theme the main menu is centered, but mine is off to the left. Being off the left is great, if I can get a search box added to that same line.

So I guess either how do I center my menu OR how do I add a search box to my main menu bar?

I ran into several issues after upgrading to v1.3.0 running on wordpress 4.4.1.

1) The author info is showing for my posts even though I have this disabled in the theme config.
2) I can’t add JavaScript in the custom HTML field for the header image. I see the text of the script rather than the script being executed.
3) Related posts are always displayed, even if I configure them not to display.

Today I’ve discovered a strange bug. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I’m not even sure it’s a theme’s bug, but when I preview with another theme the same blog it doesn’t show up.

As you can at https://casdeiro.info/textos/index.php/2014/11/07/la-religion-cientifica/#comments (or any other post on that site which has comments) all the comments have the same content (and it’s not spam or any cracked site effect, because it’s a real comment from the past). When I edit them they show the real content. It’s as if the code is wrong and it’s not showing real content of each comment, though author, dates, and hours are shown OK.

I’ve just update the theme to the newest version, but the bug remains.

Anybody has experienced the same problem?

Hope authors can fix it. I wouldn’t like to change to some other theme. Thanks!

would you consider adding a printable version with css to the theme? Best solution would be a default print.css file that could be changed to individual needs in my child theme.

Hello,

I’ve just installed the last version of Origamiez. In the previous version I unselected author box, categories, dates in the single post via the settings. Now the author box, categories and dates are visible even though they are not selected in the settings. I have tried to select/save/unselect/save, nothing changes.

just updated the Origamiez Theme. I had 12 posts (3 rows) on my Homepage as a pattern. Since the update, I can only do 8 because the third row does only show 1 post, the other 3 a line below.
Would like to send you a screenshot. Pls have a look at that bug.
I now reduced the pattern to 2 lines so this won’t happen…

Hi,

I need to include the theme’s fonts (Oswald, Noto Sans, Josefin Slab) from our own server instead of loading them from the Google server.

I already downloaded the font files from Google and put them in the new created folder “fonts” in my child theme.

I found the file where the source of the fonts is indicated:
…\wp-content\themes\origamiez\inc\functions.php (Line 1152 to 1157)

But I don’t know exactly how to change the code. Can you help with that? Can it be done in a way so that it won’t be overrided with next theme update?

Hi Alex,

could you add an option that allows us to hide thumbnails on the blog posts page? At the moment I can only choose the position of the thumbail but I cannot choose that I don’t want to display thumbnails.

Why is this important?
I want a picture to be shown on the front page (with Page Magazine Template). Obviously this is only possible with a featured image. I also want it to be displayed in the single post (on top of the text), so I inserted it in the post on top.

For the blog posts page that means, that the picture is shown twice because the featured image is automatically shown as thumbnail.

Also, not all of my posts have pictures, so it would look better if there were no thumbnails at all shown on the blog posts page.

another point that could be improved:
On the front page with “Page Magazine” layout the left column is more narrow that on the other pages with “Page Three Column SLM” layout. It would be nice if that would be harmonized.

I noticed another thing that could be improved:

When the breadcrumb has a line wrap (as it’s often the case with long post titles) it looks odd. It’s much space between the two text lines and the separating below moves down.

I tried to fix that with custom css in my child theme but failed.

The footer on my site is ignoring the right sidebar length. It may be in part to the responsive image slider, but so far out of 4 different slider/gallery plugins, none seem to show correctly because the footer in the theme cuts them off.
Test site is https://saris.leviathansoa.com.
When I go into developer tools to determine the markup problem, it corrects itself in both Firefox and Chrome. Everything looks fine when in mobile responsive mode. Only wide mode for tablets and browsers seems to do this.

After last update v. 1.2.9 the Auto Link Maker code i ever used doesn’t work.
What did you change in footer.php?
I checked my footer.php and i have the right code in the right position as i read in the official Auto Link Maker documentation https://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/resources/documentation/auto-link-maker.html.
The strange thing is that before your last update (v. 1.2.9) everything was ok.
Could you help me please?
