Logo stopped displaying. It shows in the Site Identity Customization area, but no longer on the site. I tried choosing a different file but no change. Tried deactivating recently added plugins but no change. Any ideas??
HI~

Thank you
How do I add a slider to the Opportune theme?
Thanks in advance.
Is there anyway to export a site’s theme options (namely I am talking about the colors) so that I can use the same colors on a different site without having to manually change them in the options panel? Or even if there was a way to override them via a child-theme, that would work.
Thanks!
I need to change the Header Image Caption Box size but not sure where to find that in the settings or the code.
Any assistance is always appreciated!
Hello,
I have a child theme website, customized with beaver builder plugin. I want to add a blog to it, but somehow I cannot do that. I created another page named Blog, then added the Blog to the Menu, and set the Reading-posts page-blog. I thaught it was enough, but it is not. I have it in my menu, but it is empty although I created a post…I’m a little bit lost, can you please help?
I also get this error sometimes:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/r45351lepi/public_html/wp-content/themes/childthemelp/home.php on line 13
[ No bumping please. ]
I’m a bit of a newbie to WP and am currently feeling my way.
Is it possible to edit the text styling in the Header Image Caption Box without having to use CSS, which I’m not very conversant with please?
I can’t see a screenshot or image anywhere on the site, so I’m posting here. There are a lot of widget areas to use, but I would like an image that shows which is which. It’s probably faster than all the trial and error I will end up doing to discover all the places myself.
Thanks
Hello,
I am having some issues with the mobile desktop view. The meniu bar is blue, and in my dashboard by colors I have literally nothing with blue, which is odd, and the color doesn’t fit with the rest of the colors, and i really do not know how to change that.I also have a search bar in the heather area, and i’ve disabled all search bars on the website.
Also by footer (in mobile desktop view too) I have this blue writing: “View full site” and “Proudly powered by wordpress”, how do I take that off?
Thank you so much,
Diana
Hello,
I am having problem changing the menu fonts within this theme. There is nu option at all, in dashboard or in customization mode that can help you change the font of the menu. I have tried different plugins but nothing worked at all. I am also very bad with CSS. What do you recommend? Thank you so much
I created a native wordpress gallery on a page and some images are not in line and breaking the grid. I use thumbnails and the thumbnails are cropped to exact dimensions.
Tested all other plugins by deactivating them – but without success.
When I surf to a secondary page, the first displayed thing is the page’s title.
I would like to hide the pages’ titles and have displayed only texts and pictures.
Would it be possile?
Thanks in advance.
Hi There,
As an FYI, I stumbled on an issue where transitioning between mobile and standard headers (by changing browser window size, or flipping tablet) triggers weird selected areas around the non-mobile menu items. I checked the demo page https://demos.shapedpixels.com/opportune/ and it looks like it may be native to the theme.
Steps:
The area around each menu link in the normal menu should now be oddly highlighted (in your demo site, it’s black).
Thought I’d note this here in case it’s needed. Have a good day!
Has anyone had success blending the provided Header Styles? I’d love to have the front page display as “Centered Logo and Menu Below style”, and all other pages use the “Logo to the Left and Menu Right” style.
Non-programmer here trying to do everything via Simple Custom CSS plugin to avoid needing a child theme for now. I see that the class of
changes based on the user’s choice in Customize >> Site Options, but can’t figure out how to use the page ID to switch between those classes (if that’s even possible without adding new PHP).
Desired on the front page only:
header masthead class … “site-header container centered”
Desired on all other pages:
header masthead class … “site-header container default”
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
For some reason when I view the page on my PC all of the text from the pages appears to the left of the screen, I can’t get any of the data to move to the middle.
If I view the page on a tablet or mobile it looks fine.
Hello at all,
I downloaded the Opportune template yesterday and added the plugin woocommerce for my online shop. Below my shop site there is a search field and a list with all my sites, an archive and categories. It is nowhere else, as I added no widgets, just on the sites which are run by woocommerce. Is there any option that I can remove these? The website is not online, so unfortunately I cannot send a link.
Many thanks for any hint.
Cheers,
Alex
How can I move the page titles on my site from left to center?
I have tried editing the CSS but its not responding to any changes.
(I would give a link but my site is on maintenance mode)
Hello,
I’m building a site with Opportune and now that I added the Contact page to the menu, this last menu title went down on a second line, instead of aligning with the other menu titles. Is it because the line is too long? But there’s a lot of space on the left. I have this menu length: XXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX, where the last is “CONTATTO”, the contact page.
Thank you
Hi, my customer loves the look of this theme but with his chosen header image, the header caption box is obscuring the main focus of his image. Is there a way to move it left/right up or down? I’ve looked through the stylesheet but can’t identify it.
Many thanks for a great theme.
Hi there,
I am having the same problem as the person in this thread:
However, I followed your instructions and deactivating my plugins one by one to troubleshoot didn’t resolve it. Any other suggestions?
HI
Very nice theme.
But was wondering how/if possible to get front page to be full width.
currently empty space on the right for widgets. Not using widgets.
Thanks
How are you adding the social media icons in the footer area. I see there is a menu set up, but not sure exactly how you were adding the icons.
Hi I’m using Opportune my site is 2modernize.co.za
I’ve now managed to make sub-menus and Pages with the correct names but when do the Preview of that page post the link shows correctly like under Products but once I Update then the Sub menu does not show when I click in it. The same for Galleries.
Also I don’t want the hoovering hand to appear on the Primary Menu’s which has sub menu’s as I’ll not have text in the Primary Menu’s which has sub menu’s.
Heey, first off – awesome theme!!
Second – how do I remove the “post” section on the frontpage – i’d rather use widgets to display posts ??
Hope u can help!
Best regards, Nicolai
Hi how do i get my menu’s to drop down so that my home image move down and the info apear right where the image is now instead of below the image. ??
https://2modernize.co.za/about-us
I’m wondering what gallery plugin you use on the home page demo for Opportune theme lite?
I love the demo but am trying to get the same look.
Thanks
How do I get the header image to only appear on the home page?
I have the latest version available here. But still the menu scales down but it doesn’t drop down so it doesn’t work on mobiles or tables. Therefore it can’t be classed as a responsive theme.
Howcan I fix this?
Is there a way to remove the Widget areas between the header and the content on single pages? I believe in the customizer these areas are known as Top 1, Top 2, etc. and Bottom 1, Bottom 2, etc.
What I am aiming for is to have these areas visible on the front page but not be visible on the single pages when readers click through the links.
