Olsen Light is amazing theme, thank you very much.
I have edited the files for category and tag pages on my website, under the title I’m also showing a tag or category description. Is there a way, how to enable lightbox to show images in this description?
I also use YOAST SEO, so in WP admin I’m able to edit everything in description, even include images, etc. Even if I set “link to: media file”, the lightbox is not showing, the image is showed immediatelly. On regular pages or posts this works fine (with lightbox).
Is there a way how to enable lightbox also for images on category or tag pages?
Thank you very much!

Do you think about a AMP compatibility mode for this theme or is there an AMP plugin that has a great compatibility with this theme ?
Thanks.
I use the Olsen Light theme. For my blog post, I can choose multiple categories, say Food and Health. Right above the title of my post the two categories are listed. Instead of showing up as Food, Health the two categories show up as Food , Health. There is a gap between Food and Health and comma is away from Food. How do I fix this?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello. I can set full page width for pages but not for posts ? How can i do this ?
I have a widget sidebar menu on my desktop page but then have no menu list showing up on the mobile version. If I add a main menu which then shows on the mobile I get all the menu options coming up untidily on the header of my desktop page also.
On the mobile version I have the little menu tab with the three lines but if I click on it there is no content. How can I activate that menu without adding the additional menu to the header on the desktop version.
I’m not sure if I’m asking in the right place, but here goes. I have a custom post type for my book reviews. I have archive pages within that CPT for authors, series, etc. Is there a way to force those archive pages to display related posts in order from oldest to newest? It just makes sense to me to have the first book in a series featured at the top of the related archive page instead of the latest one I’ve reviewed.
If there is a way to do that, would it affect my entire site? I don’t want that to happen but I’m just exploring what’s possible. Thank you!
I recently changed my theme to Olsen Light. Previously, my logo image used to span the entire width of my mobile phone screen. Now it has a margin to the left and right. How can I make it span the entire width?
Your advice is very much appreciated. Thanks.
I also entered the following in Additional CSS:
col – lg – 8. offset – lg – 2col – 12 { max-width: 100%;
margin: 0;
flex: 0 0 100%; }

hi Olsen team,
thank you for your amazing theme. there is a small bug that causes a notice when using child themes.
PHP Notice: Array to string conversion in /var/www/html/wp-includes/class.wp-dependencies.php on line 204
it’s because in inc/scripts-styles.php line 52
you enqueue child theme dependencies as with 2x array codes.
so this part should change
if ( is_child_theme() ) {
wp_enqueue_style(
'olsen-light-style-child',
get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css',
array(
$main_dependencies,
),
$theme->get( 'Version' )
);
}
should change to:
if ( is_child_theme() ) {
wp_enqueue_style(
'olsen-light-style-child',
get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css',
$main_dependencies,
$theme->get( 'Version' )
);
}

Hello,
When the page loads on mobile or on computer it shows a white page until you scroll.
I disabled all the plugins but it didn’t help.
Hello, I’d like to ask you one thing.
The design of the “Continue Reading” box on the blog page of my website seems to be broken.
It is odd because it should be a box but the bottom line design is missing.
Could you solve this problem?
Solved, error on my side, I’m sorry.
This isn’t necessarily just for this page and more so a site-wide issue but the linked page (https://therheffect.com/about-me/) shows it best!
I’m trying to make a new static homepage and selected the full width template. When previewing it however, the content is still taking up the same width as it would if the side bar were there it’s just centered now.
How can I change this so the content is spanning the same width as the top menu? Thank you!
Hi!
When I enter a normal, WordPress default “image carousel” into a blog post, in the draft it works fine (click on an arrow slides to another image), but when I click “publish” and reload the page, the carousel doesn’t work. The first image is shown; the arrows are there; but when I click on them, nothing happens.
Can someone help me?
So on the sidebar, widget titled THEME – ABOUT ME…………….how do I make a link be underlined?
text
Is it a WordPress thing or is that no longer used?
(link) representing the actual URL but I am not posting here.
text representing the actual text.
Hello,
how can I show the tag name or the category name in the list of posts, please?
I want the same formatting like with the search results.
For example – I click on a category named “Looks”. And right now the list of posts is showing, like here:
https://www.cssigniter.com/demos/olsen-light/category/looks/
I want to add the title: “Category: ” + the name of the category and then lists of posts. Like in the search results:
https://www.cssigniter.com/demos/olsen-light/?s=probably
And the same for the tag:
https://www.cssigniter.com/demos/olsen-light/tag/autumn/
I want to add the title: “Tag: ” + the name of the tag and then lists of posts.
Thank you very much.
Hi there!
One more question:
I’ve got a navigation menu widget in the sidebar and the names of the menu items have a “TITLE” and a “subtitle” – for example:
“CARAMEL / The Sweetest dessert”
“CHOCOLATE / A Treat for Every Moment”
I’d like to layout them so that the subtitle begins in the second line, like this:
CARAMEL /
The Sweetest Dessert
CHOCOLATE /
A Treat for Every Moment
Is there any CSS that I could use for that?
Thanks again! ??
I like the built in feature of having social share icons for each post, and am happy with the appearance of the icons (which match the theme style); however I so far I can’t figure out how to tailor them to my social media preferences. I would like them to be the same as the social icons readers can click to follow me, as in my main menu for example.
So for me, instead of the built in social share icons for each post being:
facebook, twitter, linkedin, pinterest
I would like them to be:
facebook, twitter, instragram, pinterest
How can I change this?
Thanks!

Hi Guys,
thanks for your great theme! Regarding my website, I had to do a little troubleshooting the last days, but now I’m back on track.
The only issue I still got refers to the social media icons displayed in the widget on the right side. Customize my function.php worked fine for me, since there have been a theme upgrade perhaps. Nevertheless, I deleted the function code and wanted to use the original olsen icons now. So I just need to implement some Font Awesome icons by replacing the original dribble, 500px and telegram icons.
I found by forum search a topic which refers to a tiktok icon, but the there suggested css code does not work for me, because Font Awesome does not provide any image URL, as far as I know. This was the mentioned code:
.fa-dribbble:before{
content:'';
background:url(your-tik-tok-image-URL);
display:inline-block;
width:20px;
background-size:20px 20px;
height:20px;
}
Do you have any thoughts on this one? I really appreciate any help, thank you!
Kind Regards,
M

Hello!
I’ve changed the font for the website (from Lato/Lora to Red Hat (also google fonts)) and it shows successfully on Chrome & Firefox, but not on Safari or on my iPhone.

Hello!
The three line menu icon starts appearing in screen sizes below 991px – I’d like for it to appear only on mobile sized screens. On screen sizes wider than that I’d like the menu to remain a horizontal list of page names as usual.
Which parts of the CSS code do I need to adjust for that?
Thanks a lot for any help – I appreciate it!
Hey guys,
after several months I checked my blog.
First, the social icons are broken. I can’t restore an old version, since I don’t know when it happened. Any ideas?
Second, I’m struggling with the main menu. How can I position the “categories” in a horizontal line, not vertically? Can I broad the whole navigation bar?
Appreciate you help, thank you very much!
Greetings
