I updated to the latest version of the theme and now there’s the theme’s ‘logo’ symbol showing up above my logo. Any help would be appreciated, i searched everywhere in the settings and couldn’t figure out how to remove it.

I just installed this theme with high hopes but already found a few things that are not accomplished but the most critical being the fact that it shows NO POSTS and even though they appear on the recent posts widget, you click on them and it still loads the post page but shows nothing.

So any clue what is going on? After that will come why we can’t put the search as something subtle and elegant in the header, or how to get two menus to load on separate lines on the header instead of just the main_menu, etc, but for now I need to know why nothing is showing up, other themes all show them just fine.

Sidebar on all pages?

Right now, the default, the widget sidebar is only showing in the blog. I want it to show for every page. How can I get that to happen? Seems like you it should have been built into the theme….

Applying bootstrap styles to post content

How do I use bootstrap styles within the theme so I can apply to content on posts and pages? I assume all the styles are included.

However, it appears that styles are being stripped out. For example, my unordered lists in posts don’t show the bullet points for each list item.

Hi!

I would like to know how to change the menu colour in the mobile version. I mean, I′m using Nova Lite with a black background. I have a menu in the top with 3 items, but in the mobile version you can just see a drop down menu which has the same colour than the background. This is a little bit confusing because there is no contrast and you may not find the menu in you mobile phone. This is my site:

Today I got a theme update for Nova Lite. Since updating, my submenus for two menu items will not display and the header slider (on the front page) and header images on other pages of my site are not full width, even though the images are 1170px wide. My Google map in one of the headers is also not showing as 1170px (full width).
What can I do to restore or correct the site?

I recently added to the Nova Lite functions.php to correct a plug-in error, which has now been corrected. I restored the original functions.php, but it will not update. It says there is an error with an unexpected ? on line 18, but there is no line 18. The whole site is down. Please help!

In the function novalite_require() there is a problem in PHP 5.5 with including . and ..

Calling a function scandir($folder) should be replaced with something like glob($folder.’/*.php’)

We are using template nova-lite 1.1.1.

Hi there,
The theme is working great and I’ve fallen in love with the style. But I am having trouble putting my logo in place at a reasonable size, because it is a text-only logo.

I’m sure it’s a simple fix of tweaking some CSS code but I’m worried about messing something up after looking at the elements via Chrome.

The All-in-One Event Calendar plugin support has directed me to you as there seems to be a conflict with the Nova-Lite theme.

If there are no future bookings in a category for the calendar, it shows on the page like this: mock site.

If I put a future booking in, it’s fine. I’ve tried the recommended troubleshooting and disabling plugins and switching to a default theme. The support chap also said: “It seems something is performing an extra escaping of our calendar” but not much else.

Are you able to help? The live version of the site has already launched, so I’m loathe to change themes or plugins.

Dear Nova Lite,

I Installed the “All In One Schema.org Rich Snippets” plugin for my blog. Unfortunately when I run the pages through Google Structured Data tester if find that the following values are missing:

Missing required field “entry-title”.
Missing required field “updated”.
Missing required hCard “author”.

I found some tutorials how to fix it in the single.php file (described here https://www.digitalhubinc.com/2014/01/Fix-Google-Authorship-Markup-Warnings.html).

Hi,

i would like to make changes to a copy of “after-content.php” within my child-theme of nova-lite.

It appears that no changes are registered and the child-theme continues to use file within the mother-theme.

Any idea what to do? The copy of the file is within the same directory structure as the original.

I just moved my blog template to Nova Lite. On the front page the More button does not appear where I place the more tag in the content, and in some cases does not appear at all. Hi!
After installation of this theme, I got this error:

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/……./wp-content/themes/nova-lite/core/templates/..’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php5:/usr/share/php5/PEAR’) in /……./wp-content/themes/nova-lite/core/main.php on line 74

The solution:
In all lines in main.php which use the function is_dir(), the parameter have to include the $folder or $dir variable.
Example: if (!is_dir($folder . $name)) {
