Hey there, great theme! I am using this as the basis for a site I am designing, but am struggling with a couple of things:
– When the theme reacts to a smaller screen size, a hamburger menu appears at the top right that I don’t want. How do I get rid of that?
– Posts have two dates listed on them: one for created, and one (in parenthesis) for the published date. I want to get rid of the created one, but I can’t seem to find the PHP function that creates it: I think it is nirmala_date_published, or something similar. Where is this function?
]]>Using the Nirmala theme for WordPress. We put an image widget in the “Full Top” widget area and it displays great on our home page. We want it to display the same way on all of our pages. However, it doesn’t display at all on any other page. We also tried putting the image in the “Hero Canvas” widget area. Again, it looks good on the homepage but won’t display on the other pages. How can we get it to work for all pages on our site?
]]>Everything looked great. I used the WordPress App – it was great! I saved a draft each of a page and a post. When I looked at the site again, the header had become teeeny! I re-attached the image but it’s still tiny.
(I had my tech guy move the menu over to the center because the mega-menu was going off the page. He also tweaked the header image so it fit the width of the page. Things were stable for a long time. Can’t reach him!)
Any ideas?
]]>Good day,
I downloaded the Nirmala theme to test drive and see if I actually WANT to use it, but when I uploaded the theme it showed blank. I looked for the .xml file and it isn’t within the downloaded content (yes, I did extract the files). Please help?
