Hi,
The 2.7.0 update seems to have broken the menu view in tablet / mobile. The text colour of the menu items changes to the template colour (NHS Blue, Black etc) rather than the menu bar changing colour, which remains as NHS Blue regardless. This means that the text disappears if you select NHS Blue in the template settings.
]]>When viewing this site on a mobile/tablet the menu and search buttons become unresponsive. This is only happening on the home page, works fine on all other pages.
I’ve disabled any plugins I suspected to maybe clash with the themes code but still having the issue.
I have a few Custom CSS lines for the home page, I’ve even tested removing those to see if this helps to no avail.
]]>Hi there,
I’ve recently noticed that any Simple reveal content isn’t displaying properly when published. It looks fine on the editing screen but full stops and links are showing
]]>It appears that the bread comb function (which is absolutely great) does not have a proper implementation on mobile platforms for posts, which is always pointing to the homepage instead of the category page. This functionality is working alright on larger screens as the whole path is displayed.
Is it because there are some settings I have missed, or it might be something require some improvements?
BTW, really appreciate this awesome theme!
]]>I am using the theme for an internal trust application. We are using Gravity Forms and a perk called GP Preview Submission. Is there any possibility of support for the HTML output of the submitted preview so it appears similarly to the Check your answers template used in the NHS Prototype kit?
I have a screenshot of the output but unfortunately can’t get it to upload.
Happy to chat/discuss further by email.
]]>I’m not sure if this is a theme issue or not, but I’m having difficulty with the ‘Latest posts’ widget not limiting to the set number of posts.
This is the block under ‘widgets’ category which displays latest posts using card blocks.
I’m not quite sure where to start this this one, grateful for any suggestions.
]]>Hi
As the theme includes code to customise Gravity Forms to match the NHS style.
Have the latest’s updates to Gravity Forms (2.5+) been reviewed to see what impact the changes have made?
]]>I like this theme and am using it for a friend’s website but the CSS file is very large. Why is it 550 KB for such a basic theme? Is there any way to cut this down?
]]>Is there a way to add a telephone number into the header of the nightingale theme (perhaps in place of the search box) or alternatively a “contact us” button instead of having it in the navigation?
]]>Hi
Great theme, really useful. Thanks so much for putting it together.
Just wanted to check if there is a specific cookie notice plugin that goes with the theme? (it’s mentioned on https://digital.leadershipacademy.nhs.uk/digital-capabilities/websites/nightingale-theme-user-guide/ but doesn’t say which one).
Thanks
Simon
Would you consider adding functionality to allow this theme to be used in other UK Nations (e.g. Scotland, Wales or NI) with country specific logos ?
