I have been running Nictitate for a couple of years and noticed that the menu doesn’t work with Fireforx anymore. I tried remaking the menu (new menu) as well as doing all the updates but it still doesn’t work (clicking and drop-down)

But every time I change the content and click save, it keeps saying progressing but the new contents never go through. On mobile, when I scroll down on the menu to select an item lower down on the menu, the whole menu disappears, and therefore unable to see or select the lower items on the menu or sub-menu.

Is there a recommended solution/plug-in that can resolve this?

On the desktop the sticky menu works fine.

I was wondering if it was possible to adjust the width size of widgets 10, 11, or 12 so that they were wider? I have a lot of text in widget 10 and it’s taking a lot of space vertically in the footer, which makes it appear chunky. Is there any chance I would be able to increase the width of this widget?

Have just about finished a website and discovered that the mobile menu doesn’t appear.

In landsccape view on my ipad, the menu appears as normal. In portrait view on my iPad, or either view on my iPhone 6, the menu disappears.

Is a mobile menu included in the free theme? Do I need to install a plugin to create this menu?

I have in my header, links for Subscribe/Login/Logout/Profile (activate in this Theme).

I’m using the latest version of WP and Magic Members.

When I activate Settings -> General -> Membership, it cause a problem with the header menu.

Even connected or not, it show Profile/Logout instead of Login/Subscribe.

Is it a bug?

On my website https://www.gloeiendekolen.nl, using the Free Nictitate Theme, for some reason the post titles won’t show. All posts use a featured image and I have already tried disabling all plugings. But for the life of me, I can’t find what is causing this behaviour. From what I can gather from the page source, the title is generated but it does not want to show itself.

This has been bugging me for some time now and has cost me at least a day troubleshooting, but so far I have not found a solution. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this behaviour and where to look for and correct the code?

Hi,
We have added a contact form to a page which works fine however the bit where it also shows address and contact number is not working. When clicking the number on pc it says it needs to open an application for callto: links which was expected on mobile though this does not direct you to the dialer as expected. You click it and it seems to try and reload the page but does nothing.
Where can i edit this to either stop it trying to do the callto: and just have the text or fix this callto: error?

Hello everyone, I need to put a logo larger than what you see in the demo and maintain the effect menu when you scroll the page. Currently if you load the logo bigger comes out of the menu and it creates a margin-top up. How can I fix? Thanks to those who can help me out.

Hi. I bought the premium version of this theme that comes with revolution slider. However, there is a problem with the slider. The delete button in the revolution slider plugin does not work at all! Which means i cannot delete anything in the revolution slider from slides to template and everything. Please help as i cannot continue my development.

Hello, is there any way to de-customise – ie. standardise – the gallery settings in the Nictitate theme please?

I’ve tried a number of different lightbox plugins, and they work fine just in page links and with other themes, but with Nictitate, in a Page, with the Add Media -Create Gallery – link to Media File – option, the gallery doesn’t properly display, with randomly placed thumbnails and without the lightpox pop-up.

To test this, I’ve added a different theme and the lightbox works perfectly. I’ve also de-activated and re-activated the lighboxes, etc.

So to recap, I think there must be some custom lockdown / changes in the Nictitate theme scripts. Can I change / neutralise / remove these in order that the gallery’s lightbox pop-up box displays correctly? If I can’t get this to work I will need to move to a different theme, as it’s a show-stopper.

I’ve begun experiencing a strange quirk on this theme in the menu. At random times, when I hover over a menu in the main navigation, the menu and icon begin to flash and will not stop. Clicking does nothing, refreshing does nothing. If I click the header image, it will take me back to the home page where sometimes it stops flashing, but other times it begins again almost immediately. I haven’t been able to recreate this behavior on a Mac, by the way. It’s only on a PC that it’s happened. The browser was Firefox. Any clues?

I’ve been slaving over this issue for HOURS, so you’ll have to excuse me if I seem a bit agitated.

I managed to change the entire color scheme of the theme from that baby blue to my company’s color scheme, but one last trace of that baby blue won’t go away (post titles in the homepage slider) and I can’t find a single place where it is. I’ve scanned the entire site for that blue code and it is no where to be found. And yet, it still shows up in the slider. And when I ultimately tried to just erase the title all together to avoid the headache, there’s still a blue box where the title should be. This is a very serious problem, brand wise. There nothing about my color scheme that could justify that blue, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been having issues with my BuddyPress/bbPress features not displaying on the site, since I customized my theme (Nictitate by Kopatheme). Today, I cannot even access the wp-admin login page or the dashboard via any page, and therefore cannot edit my site, as you must be logged in to create content. No error or 404 message comes up on the page, rather, it says “Log In” at the top of the page but has no fields to enter username and password.

Other troubleshooting threads recommend turning off certain plug-ins, but I can’t do any of these things without access to the dashboard. I fear it’s something to do with theme customization. The other BuddyPress generated pages behave the same way. They show up in the site menu, but have no content on the page other than the title. Please help!
