I hope this topic finds you well. I am reaching out to request your assistance with some issues I am experiencing on my website, which is using the Newsup theme.

Below are the specific issues I am encountering:

1. Alt Attribute for Images: The alt attribute for all images is not showing in the page source code, even though all images have alt text set. This is affecting the accessibility and maybe SEO of my website.
2. Largest Contentful Paint (LCP): The Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) is above 3.5 seconds in mobile view (For homepage and some pages); however, in desktop view, it is below 0.9 seconds. I am using LiteSpeed Cache with the QUIC.cloud Service, and I am concerned about the performance on mobile.

I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps:

• Cleared the cache
• Disabled plugins to see if there was a conflict
• Resaved images with alt text
• The Newsup theme, WordPress and all plugins are updated to the latest versions.
• Tried all LiteSpeed presets, and tried to enable/disable Mobile cashing option
• Tried to run the PageSpeed test in Incognito mode

I would appreciate any guidance or support you can offer to help resolve these issues.

Hello

If you go to a Post… then you can see at the bottom “Related Posts” (German: ?hnliche Beitr?ge).
The Problem is, it shows only the last 3 Posted Posts from Today and not the Related Posts. You can see the same 3 on every post …

Why and what’s the Problem?
We don’t know! We use NewsUp Pro and have a LicenceKey.

You know the little “Latest-News” slider unter the Menu-Links from the NewsUp Pro Theme?
At the Frontpage it will show up. Now, i’m trying to show this latest-news-slider also on every single post-/Blog Page.

But i can’t find the code and what i should do to do that?
Maybe anybody here has an idea or solved the Problem at himself?

2. How do I select the category for the Popular and Trending Tabs?

I’m wondering if it’s possible to restrict the Latest and Popular sections of the tabbed section from showing password protected posts.

I’ve got some password protected posts that I only want to be on a specific page, not posted on the homepage of my site.

Is this possible?

Hello team,

The Newsup theme has 5 widget areas but only 2 are shown to me in the frontend.

The following widget areas remain invisible:

Left sidebar section of the home page

Right sidebar section of the home page

Home pages content area

How can I fix this?

I am trying to build a new site using the Newsup theme.

The default background color of the posts is white and I can’t find any way to change it.

I will appreciate your help!

Can you check and tell me how can I do?

As you can see footer widget background red & font color white works in desktop but not in mobile (Responsive page). In mobile the bg is blue and the H tag color is gray.

Can you help with it?

Hi, the slide banner doesn’t seem to appear and work for the website users. As an admin I have no problem and I can see it working, but I receive regular feedbacks that for the externals is not so. Please advise. Thanks

Since the last update you cannot copy texts from outside the theme and paste it into the “Yoast SEO” sections.

These are the “Search engine appearance” and “Social media appearances” sections. This is “Meta description” in the first section (https://ibb.co/qRpBJg7) and, in the second, “social description” (https://ibb.co/vsvxJBR) on Facebook and on X (formerly Twitter).

Before, when I could use copy and paste, it was very fast but now what I could do in seconds before requires five or more minutes to do because you have to write the same text several times. Would it be possible to fix it? Thank you.

There is a link to “Latest” and “Popular” posts….but how do I share all the older posts?

I would simply like to put the contact page and the order form page near the top? How do I change the order of the menu buttons?

we have at least 20 old pages of interesting posts. How does anyone see the old posts. Is there a way to make an “old posts” tab in the layerslider to gain access to the hidden posts?

Please assist with my logo showing incorrectly in mobile only. On the web version the logo in the header looks correct, but when on mobile, it is stretched and not showing properly.

I do have some custom css to adjust the header section, but can anyone please advise how to add code to make the mobile version look properly sized as well?

Since latest update, Version: 4.0.0.25, my site title and tag that used to centred no longer are. The checkbox is enabled to do do and the preview shows that it is but when published in all left aligned.

Wondering if it’s possible to remove that blue image with the lines from the header and put a solid colour instead.

My Newsup Pro blog is no longer full width as you can see from the white margins on the web page. Does anyone know how to return the site to full width?

I am developing a small news website at (redundant URL removed by moderator) and I want to change the blue color to a custom color as you can see. The blue colors are in the left side and head and footer…Can you help me?

I have the Pro version of Newsup with a boxed theme style, but I see other sites that are also boxed that have the ability to add an image here or there that is full width. Please see the website https://www.allrecipes.com and scroll down where you can see the images that span all the way across the screen but the main style of the rest of the site is boxed. I cant seem to find any plugins, widgets or theme options that will do this.

So do they just have the site set to full width and then have other certain sections boxed? or how it is achieved, and what is possible to have this sort of look and layout with Newsup?

How can I change the fonts in headers?

They are too large by default. It is impossible to guess what is written in the news title since only parts of words are displayed, especially in small windows.

I noticed that in comments the author avatar overlaps the date of comment and the begining of text. So I don’t see the date of comment.

See it in related url please as example.

I use chrome browser.

Hi! I noticed that the logo in the header does not get any link. Usually, I would expect a logo to link back to the home page. As I don’t show the page title in the header anymore, my users currently have no possibility to get back to the home page easily from the header alone. Could this link be added?

all I want to know is how to turn the sidebars on for store pages so that I can have sorting widgets show in the sidebar. Again, I have purchased the pro version of the template already
