I’m having issues with an AdSense ad (or sometimes two) that appear in the main menu. When this happens, the menu sections get pushed to one half of the screen, and the ad takes up the other half.

I’ve removed the widgets, checked my AdSense account, but it doesn’t show that area for exclusion, as if it’s blocked by default. However, the ad keeps appearing.

How can I remove/hide featured image on single posts. No option for that on the theme customize section.

I recently created a second Google Ads account due to some issues with the first one. Now, I’m trying to set up Google AdSense, but I keep getting the following error:

“You’ve already got an AdSense code on your site for this account. We recommend you use Site Kit to place the code to get the most out of AdSense. Make sure to remove the existing AdSense code to avoid conflicts with the code placed by Site Kit.”

After some research, I learned that I need to remove the existing Google Ads script from my website’s home page header. However, I’m unable to locate the file containing this code.

I’m using the “Newsmatic” theme for my site. Could someone guide me on how to resolve this issue?

When using a News Filter, I can click on “Post Query” and define a category (besides order, number of posts, etc). But then, the block shows “All – Category”.

Is there a way to show only the chosen category, and not the “All” option (which obviously shows posts not in the chosen category)?

I’ve recently installed Newsmatic, and then imported Newsmatic One as the theme of the web.

I can’t figure out why the theme icons are missing (for instance, the search one). Maybe it is because I imported the theme without resetting the web?

Could I download the Newsmatic One (I’ve only found “Newsmatic”, but not any of the sub-themes offered) so I can upload it to the server? Or if you think there’s another way of fixing this issue?

I can usually change my menus to upper and lowercase using the TinyMCE editor. However, that doesn’t seem to work with Newsmatic. So, I entered the following to my CSS in the Appearance area:

.main-navigation a {
text-transform: lowercase;
}

.main-navigation ul ul li a {
text-transform: lowercase;
}

However, The Tag Line Is Still In Title Case

Today, when I updated the theme, the menus went back to ALL UPPER CASE. My snippet is still there. I’ve looked at the site in three different browsers. I’ve refreshed the page from the cache.

Any ideas?

I had tried using a plug in, and it did not removed powered by, so i am wondering if there is added css to be able to remove/hide that section of the footer.

i added the featured image t the post and the whole image is not fitting in the post since the size is big and image is blurry. how can i fixthis

On the main banner of my site, the largest photo/post is not showing and instead a multi-coloured wheel is spinning in its place.

I don’t know why it started doing this but I need it fixed.

I select image size ‘medium’. Then align left. The text looks fine (with spaces). But when I publish the space to the right of the image disappears and the text is hard against the image. Appreciate if someone would enlighten me.

Hello! I noticed the theme banner always takes too long to load, which ends up looking bad for new users:

Any way of making it so it doesn’t load a copy of every image, or disabling the preloader altogether?

Hi! My Smush plugin tells me it’s optimizing all sizes for any image, including 6 or 7 Newsmatic sizes that I don’t think are being used since I’m working mostly with thumbnails. Having those extra sizes may impact my storage and I don’t know if there will be a way to delete specific sizes later.

Also it would be amazing if my html wouldn’t include the code for disabled widgets or sections, which is making the theme slower.

The theme will not show my updated menu/order of menu/new menu. I tried everything my little brain could think of. Even Chatgpt was stumped. I tested another theme and my revised menu is working fine.

When i try to implement The Newsmatic carousel message it automaticly leaves a big empty space above it. And i can’t find to fix it. I have a screenshot of it but i can’t post it here.

I am not able to save any changes made in the Customize Section. Every time I save it says “The previous set of changes has already been published. Please try saving your current set of changes again.”

The theme is great and works well for my website. However, please tell me how I can stop the begging for a review banner appearing all the time in the admin dashboard. I have tried to click both buttons but it comes back over and over again. This isn’t just a fault on a certain website either, I’ve got it on three different websites.

I use several post types on my site (not ecommerce) but it seems Newsmatic only looks at “post” type. Is there a setting I’m missing?

Hi! I have been trying to enable the footer. It option is on and I added content to the widget. But it doesn’t show. There is also no indication that it’s for the paid version only. Is it a bug or is this intended?

Dear People,

I have installed the Newsmatic free template in the weekend and i must say that I’m content with it.

BUT…

There is no image at the frontpage for the posts.

I have checked all the settings, double, three double checked it. Can’t find the setting that could solve this.

I tried to find the solution online, without luck.So, I’m longing to use this template and hoping that someone here can help me to solve this.

The theme is working very well. However, it breaks in PHP 8.2. On the single post page won’t show any content. The category page won’t show any content as well.
I switch from PHP 8.2 to PHP 7.4, In PHP 7.4, PHP throws the warning message but the single post page and category page still show the content.

Here is the warning message in PHP 7.4 which is the same as showing in PHP 8.2.

It would be great if the developer could fix this issue and release the minor changes so that the theme will work 100% on PHP 8.2.

I am very much impressed with the theme. Really blazing fast and amazingly beautiful.

I am having one issue only. When you select category in any block and save the block in the backend, categories do not show again and the front behavior is as with no category selected. This results in all section blocks on the frontend showing one and the same content.

No error is registered in the server logs.
