I added widgets to the sidebar. For some reason this does not appear when viewing my site from my iPhone. However, it shows up on my iPad and desktop PC. Any idea?
Hi Artur,
Any updates to this nice theme? I have to say this is still the best theme ever. I’ve tested many others and they just are not as beautiful, clean and easy to use as Mosaic.
Thanks,
First off, I love the theme. Thank you!
I’m trying to use this theme to show some code/CLI output, but I’m having some difficulty getting it to display the way I had hoped. I have it running in a private lab and not yet published publicly, so I can’t post a link to show what I’m seeing.
When I use the pre tag, the whole block of code has the background shaded properly, but there is no indentation or line breaks to the pasted code at all. It looks like just one long line that wraps to the next. I can manually put in line breaks, but this seems tedious and the indentations and line breaks are still incorrect.
I’ve tried the visual and text/html editor. Both with similar results.
From what I see on other themes and sites, their code is tagged with the pre tag and all is well. The tarski, twenty twelve and twenty fourteen themes work as expected.
I’m new to this theme and wordpress in general, but I’ve been trying different variations of options for the past 2 days and don’t seem to get anywhere. I’ve tried various plugins, which seem to do okay, but I can’t help but think that this can be done within the theme itself.
Any direction/help is appreciated!
Hello, I have two issues with this theme. I am also new to wordpress and do not understand css very much:
1. I am trying to change the color of the tiles in the footer/header (appearance-theme options-styling). It says you can change the color and when i choose a color, nothing happens.
2. I am trying to put in a table but i want to make it “invisible” so that the lines do not show. I have tried everything in the code (in the text tab) and NOTHING is happening. I always see the border. I have tried <table style=”border: none;”>
and setting the color to “o” and it still shows. Where in the editor can i find the solution for this issue? Do i need to edit the style sheet or can you provide me a specific code in the text tab to make the border lines disappear?
If you can provide me specific instructions/code/location to fix these that would be awesome! Great theme none-the-less!
Hi! I would like to place a slider on my homepage just before the blog posts. I want to keep the right sidebar and the 4 widget areas in the footer. What’s the best way to go about this?
By default it seems the whole posts are shown when you list a category. How do you make it only show excerpts of the post?
Hello,
Love this theme!
I’d like to make my logo centered. For some reason it is being pushed to the right. Also, if possible, I’d like to have it fully extend across the page so that no matter what size browser you’re on it’ll look like the header encompasses the whole width. I’ve got a logo that is sized at 2400 px to accommodate most any browser size.
Thanks so much!!!

How to make pictures to be visible – which are inside posts – in excerpt view? Like it is shown on description site of this page.
When I set The Excerpt view, on my main page there are 10 pices of latest posts. All of it has a picture inside. But in this view there is only text and no pictures…
Hi Artur, I’m not only a user of your fantastic WordPress theme Mosaic, but also a translater who wants to translate it into Chinese. But in the rencent update of your theme, I found that the language file ( .\languages\mosaic.pot) was still the version 1.6. It makes a few difficult to translate it fully. So could you plaese update your language file to make the translation work more better?
Thanks a lot!
Hi Artur,
I love your theme, simple and powerful. I have 2 questions.
1.- How do I stop the author information from showing at the end of each post?
2.- How do I remove categories archive titles from showing on that section? i.e “Travel Blog” tab is a category. I saw a similar post on the forum but your solution didn’t work for me.
My blog: https://www.PriscillaPWood.com
Thanks!

I’m trying to create a child theme of your Mosaic theme. I tried starting with no extra functionality, but just with the
@import url("../mosaic/style.css");
line in the new style.css. When I try to do the Live Preview of it within Manage Themes, it looks perfect. However, when I actually try to activate it, it’s not styled correctly. Part of it is correct (the links are the proper light blue), however much of the styling is missing — the sidebar and header in particular are not styled. Is there something I’m missing? It was my understanding that with just that one line in the new style.css file it should look exactly like the parent theme.
Thank you.
Hi Artur,
I have at least 12 pictures for every post, to save on memory and for faster loading, I would like to embed images from Flickr.
When I paste the link from Flickr, the very first image shows up fine, but the succeeding images are small and not the original size as they are posted on Flickr. I tried switching themes to 2012 on a test site, and all Flickr images in theme 2012 show up perfectly with the correct size. Then when I switch back to Mosaic, only the first image shows up well at the right size, and any picture after that is small. How can I correct this?
Thanks,
Hi,
Could you tell me how to show the caption of a featured image? And also how to align it to the right?
Thanks
I have a created a secondary navigation menu for the sidebar that I would like to be available to mobile display users.
Current styling hides the sidebar where the secondary menu appears.
Is there a way to include secondary menu links in mobile navigation menu dropdown list?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Hi,
The stylesheet referrs to a resize.png that is missing.
.resize {
background: url(images/resize.png) repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
bottom: 0;
height: 80px;
position: fixed;
right: 0;
width: 80px;
}
I like my stylesheet bug-free so I would like to create it.
Could you say what this image is about. Transparent? color? text? size? seems 80×80 but …
Thanks
Hi, when I look at the website on a mobile phone – or just make it smaller with my regular browser, the layout switches to the responsive design.
Instead of the navigation I get: Select a page
But no page that I could select…???
What went wrong?

How do I remove this line that appears below the comments box:
You may use these HTML tags and attributes:

<del datetime=""> <strike>
I don't know what it is for, and I don't think most readers would too so I think I would rather not have it there.
Thanks!
I’m really excited about this theme. I’ve tested more than a dozen themes on a test site, and this is by far the easiest to use, has a clean design and has so many customization options. Also, so far it hasn’t done any weird things like what I’ve encountered with other themes where the image will be super huge, home page not showing, etc.
One question, is there a way I can change the color of the menu bar without touching code? I changed the navigation color, but it doesn’t work so well with the color of the menu bar. Is there a way I can change the color of the menu bar to white or some other color?
Hi! I just want to confirm… do I enter Norton safeweb meta tags in Theme Options/Advanced/Headerscripts? So I just paste the tag in the header scripts box?
Thank you for this nice theme! Is there a way I could widen it?
I like the theme, nice and clean without all the crap that so many of them are loaded down with.
A couple of issues though.
1. When you create a post and then click on the Name it takes you to
domain.com/author/username which does not exist so you get a 404 and I sure do not see anywhere to edit or create the page.
2. In the them options typography section when you change the navigation color instead of changing the link text is changes the color of the bar between the header and body.
