I noticed that there is a new update to this theme. I’m worried that I will lose customizations. Does anyone know if this update will affect my customizations?

All of a sudden, my featured photos for my last 5 blog entries do not display properly on the slider on my main page.

The photos have always been displayed either in a square shape or in a rectangular shape with the width being longer than the height. Now that is reversed all of a sudden. It’s showing a really narrow portion of the photo, so it’s cutting off a lot of the photo in most cases. It’s happening on mobile and desktop no matter what type of browser I use.

Can someone help?

Hi there,

When I try to a modification to a widget, I get en error when I click “Update”: “The response is not a valid JSON response”.

If I create a new widget, I can’t put a title anymore.

Is there a way to fix that?

At the bottom of the Home Page, mine displays:
‘Nothing Found

I have no idea what this is referring to as I have 3 posts. It simply takes me to add a post which I do but it still can’t find anything.

The video is only in 480p so I cannot see exactly what you are doing, and currently lists a Plugin that exists by another name.

Hi. The header graphic is not displaying no matter what I do in MADD Magazine. I thought the issue might be the height of the graphic. Changed it in the custom-header.php file and still nothing. Is there something I need to do that I’m missing here? Thank you for any direction you may be able to give that will help me. I want the logo to be at the top, rather than the area allotted.

I had this fixed before and can’t remember what I did. It started happening again and I assume it’s because I updated the theme.

When you scroll down the page, the slider goes OVER the menu as opposed to behind it.

Any way to fix that ?

I’m currently using your them & it’s been great! I’m trying to do multiple pagination on a single page & it’s working. The only problem is the page numbers are appearing on the bottom of the native ads. How do you re-position it so that it will be located BEFORE the related posts section. When I edit post it is there but when I click preview or publish it disappears.

So I am using madd magazine as a website to help out someone that needed a responsive theme for there mobile site. I was wondering is there any possible way to change the touch menu colors because its really hard to see on a dark background. Almost invisible like. I tried to find it in the swiper.css file. But its not changing correctly. Any help is appreciated this is a really nice theme for responsive websites.

I’m considering using Madd Magazine as a new theme for [ redundant link removed ].

That said, I don’t need five posts in the slider.

How do you change the number of posts in the slider?

I have not loaded Madd but I’ve been reading all there is about it before I do so.

I made an upgrade to version 5.2.1 and the theme did not respond. I had to restore to 4.9.10
Is there a solution to this problem? a year now there is no upgrading to the theme
should I look for another theme?

The front page slider is neat, but it takes too long to slide from one post to the next. Sometimes it won’t slide at all. But when it does, it takes it over a minute.

Inside Mad Magazine theme, settings, read, there is the option: RSS feed show most recent; number.
So on the homepage the slideshow show the x recent posts.
I like to expand this with an extra filter on the recent posts, so a filter on category.

MADD Magazine is an awesome theme. I am looking for some help with how to remove the left sidebar and to have the main body content move into the area where the left sidebar would otherwise be.

Is there some custom CSS or a code snippet I could use?

Getting rid of the left sidebar widgets leaves me with the white space, but the main body content still stays in the middle of the page.

The built-in slider is configured for 20 publications, but 2 or 4 blank spaces appear between the 20 publications. How can I solve this and get the 20 publications to be seen without spaces or blank boxes?

Great new theme. I’d like to adopt it but require post meta data to appear on each post (date, author, categories, labels). I tried to manually edit single.php and managed to get the date, categories, and labels to show on my posts, but I’m a novice and couldn’t get the author to show.

Would you consider including post meta data in future versions of this theme?

I installed the Madd Magazine theme. Love the look. I published a couple of posts. I cannot get rid of the “Nothing Found. Ready to…..” message on the front page.
