Hi Jose and forum members. I’d like to change the font from Economica. Tried editing in stylesheet but the change doesn’t take effect. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make a global font change in Lupercalia? I love this theme!

I am using the “Pages” widget in the Pre-footer area on my site. Using Lupercalia version 1.5. Site is at motorsportoil.com

I would like to have the Pages widget list in three columns. Goal is to shorten the depth of the page listing. It currently lists my site pages as centered in a single column. Is there a way to customize or change the amount of colums?

how do i make my front page a static page?

Before I commit to this theme, I need to know if I will be able to update it my myself. The last theme I had, Feather from Elegant themes, had to be updated by my web designer each time, & I’m tired of paying her to do it.

Is there a way to add content to the front page of this theme? I love the image and that the posts show up right away, but would like to add text so people can have an idea what the website is all about.

Hi there,

This is just a suggestion to consider for future versions of this great theme. I am using the “Last Entries” option on my front page, and I have had a few complaints/confusion from website users about being able to click on the “Last Entries” that appear below the slider.

Their issue is that when they hover their mouse over the post/entry to click on it, they naturally want to click on the image. They try, but it doesn’t work because the image isn’t linked. The only way they can click through to the post is to click on the little header text below the image (and sometimes they don’t troubleshoot it long enough to figure it out).

Now, to be fair, the people who’ve complained about it are mostly older folks who aren’t very computer savvy, ha. But, I can see their point, and it would be really nice if they could also click on featured image to get to the post, and not just the headline text.

In case it helps visualize what I’m talking about: https://caledoniachamberofcommerce.com/ (For example, they’d like to be able to click on the green image that says “Caledonia Music in the Park” in order to get to that post, not just the “2015 Music in the Park” headline below it, and so on.)

Just a suggestion that I thought I’d pass on, since it seems like other people might also find useful, and that you might consider including in future versions.

When I try on feedburner, I’ve this other error :

The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 2: The processing instruction target matching “[xX][mM][lL]” is not allowed.

How fix this problem ?

Like when i had to create a static page to be the front page. Where is this page? In which directory?

Hi! Sorry the question. I choose Lupercalia and i created my page, but when i log out and try to log in again nothing appears, just a white page. My service support told me that was a problem of Lupercalia Theme. Anyone does know what i have to do? I really want to use this theme.
Now i can log in because my service support took off Lupercalia theme.

I’ve managed to install Jetpack plugin to use their social media widgets. The problem is that their “facebook like box” only works perfectly when it is the only widget on page. I observed that the widget loads perfectly before the front page slider loads also. After slider is working, the widgets shrinks.

Hi José, sorry to bother again but i can’t manage to get any facebook plugin to work on front page.

I would like to add the “follow button” under the slider, but i can’t. Is that possible?

José, where can i find “style.css”? I want to change the font but i can’t find this archive. I’ve found one on the path “/public_html/wp-content/themes/lupercalia/inc” but it doesn’t say anythiong about what font to use. Should i add this?

And can i change the place where social media icons are displayed? I need to move it to the center of header.

On my front page, I would like to have my latest posts appear in 3 side-by-side (3-across), so that it reaches across the entire page width underneath my slider.

Instead, they appear only 2-across, with the third post bumped onto the second line, which looks awkward (and I can’t figure out what is causing it to bump down).

I’ve been trying to edit the css to get the third post up on the first row, to no avail. Please help! Is there something I am missing? Thank you very much!!

I uploaded the Lupercalia Theme and since then, the format of how I manage the settings has changed. When I type in ejulianna.com/wp-admin this message pops up

I want to know how I can change the theme back to the previous theme I was using before.

Hi, I really like the slider on the front page, but I hate that it cycles through a bunch of different transitions (some of the transitions are really obnoxious).

I would just like a simple slide or fade transition so that the weird transitions don’t detract from the images or the rest of the website. It seems like I don’t have control over the slider transitions at all — is this correct?

Is there a way for me to change it on the coding side?

I am having hard time figuring out how to make this theme mobile friendly. Do you have a manual or can you walk me through making this theme mobile friendly?

What size do you recommend for the header photo that will be visible (not extremely large) on all platforms (mobile, iPad/tablet, web browser)? When I look at my site via my phone, the header is extremely large.

I know there have been posts about this before but unfortunately they do not seem to be fixing my problems!

I have changed my settings to not include the comment section on any of the pages of my site but it still shows up everywhere but my static home page. As nothing I have read seems to fix this, I tried to edit it out using the php and while this works, it deletes my sidebar!

Any help would be appreciated. I would like to keep my sidebar and just remove the comment section.

I am a html and css newbie and need some help with the design customization.

I want to put images in the sidebar as buttons. But the space between two widgets is too big for that. Also there is this very thin line. Where can I change that?
