I created a template to process a form input. The page just hangs up and does not throw an error. If i comment out :

Just began setting up this site on a new web host. I’d set it up on a “free” host just so we could show the client how the site would look. He loved it, and decided to let us proceed with Longevity. Everything worked fine on the free hosting site. But now that I have it installed on the new host, every page is throwing an error message at the top: “Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /homepages/11/d4296865125/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/longevity/template-parts/headers.php on line 28”

Sinds een tijd krijg ik de foto’s in mijn bibliotheek niet meer te zien. Ook komen ze niet op de website te staan.

Ik heb alle plugins uitgezet maar geen resultaat, ook al een ander thema ge?nstalleerd maar ook geen resultaat.
Andere foto’s erin zetten werkt ook niet want die zie ik ook niet. Is er iemand die weet hoe ik dit kan oplossen?

Hello, I realize you’re putting all of your energy into Pro themes but this free one is great and updates to php are beginning to pass it by. Dreamhost is currently trying to update all websites to php v8.0 and this site failed.

Typically this due to a widget being used by the theme that works off of
older bundled plugins such as Visual Composer or WPBakery. We’ve seen it
exclusively with paid themes that reply on these bundled plugins to
function. It looks like be-joy.com is using a paid theme called
‘longevity’.`

While they’re wrong about Visual Composer/WP Bakery being part of the picture, another forum also pointed at the theme. Your support used to be awesome. Please help with this!

You’re not going to be able to see this because the site is hidden behind a “Coming Soon” page. I need to change the name in the copyright. At first I thought it was pulling from the site title but changing the site title doesn’t lead to a change in the footer. The site title (cosmetic) and copyright (legal) should be different.
I also tried putting a copy of the footer.php in the child theme and editing it but my change isn’t showing up. I’m not great with .php so this isn’t surprising. What do I need to do to make this change?

Hi. This theme used to have excellent support. It is sounding like even the Pro side has hit a bump——hopefully this is temporary!

I am trying to get navigation to show up in the Bottom Menu, but it seems to show up everywhere except there. I could really use some help with this.

I have been trying for 10 days to get support for Longevity Pro but to no avail even though I have paid for it and for the tech support. Even when I cut and paste the shortcode as explained and without making any alterations, it does not work as the ode appears on my website, buttons do not appear as buttons, headers are not headings, not centred etc. I also see that two years ago someone posted about black lines appearing on the banner on the front page and you posted a short term fix for it, but the problem is still happening and the fix does not seem to work now.
I would like to get Longevity Pro working properly, but after 10 days and hours of trying many things, I have finally asked for a refund, but there is no contact number for the company and my request is just sitting in a forum where the other queries go unanswered. Now that I have found this page, I hope that maybe someone can help me resolve the issues….???

Hi. Since there is a pro version and I love this theme I am moving forward with the free version for a site redo. This time I am attempting to replace the curves in a child theme with two images which are the same size as the curve files. Neither of the child themes I’ve done before are available and I am not getting anywhere, so I have been trying to use the support threads from two years ago. The version was an earlier one though…

The first attempt had a black & white striped background on the whole page and showed a giant version of the curves instead of the child theme image. The second attempt looked beautiful except there were no curves, the replacement image or alt text showing at all.

At the moment neither child is active while I work on other things and try to figure out what’s missing/wrong. Although I have changed the color of the curves in the parent. Can you help get me on track again?

Other questions/issues—
— The banner image is showing on all of the pages. I remember there being a way to turn it off on the secondary pages but am unable to locate it.
— There is a ‘comment’ field on many of the pages (not posts) and I am not seeing where to turn it off either.
— In the photo of the demo theme there is text on the Home page banner. Where is the control for this?
— Is it possible to have more main content text above the top widgets? I am experimenting with using a text widget in the Call to Action widget but wonder if there is a better way. For some reason I am unable to get the h1 tag to display as intended but the h2 is fine.

Not sure the link will show since it’s a draft and I see no way to upload a screen shot. Here is my issue and not sure if it’s something you can help with. The pages on my website look fine and indented correctly from the edges. I installed woocommerce and testing a product page, everything is butt up against the edges of the page, on the right and left. I disabled the css files for the page layouts for woocommerce but nothing changed. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!

For some reason, the page titles and menu fonts changed on our site. Is there a way to change them back?

First, let me say that I really like this theme. I’ve been using it for quite some time. Today I updated wordpress and my banner image and a white bar showed up under the main menu. I’ve gone back to the banner image I was using before, but the white bar is still there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I switched my banners today and now I have a grey area above and below the banners. How can I fix this? Tried everything. Now here to ask for help.

I’m not sure what’s going on, but when I added two sub-menu items to my primary menu, the space taken up by the menu got larger (top to bottom) and my banner now is being cut off at the bottom. The primary menu at the top used to be a nice skinny strip across the top, but now it’s much wider. I tried simply removing those two sub-menu items, but that doesn’t fix the problem. I’ve looked everywhere (except in the code…not familiar with that and not comfortable touching it!) and can’t figure out how to fix this.

I activated the WH hotel booking plugin with Longevity theme and it does not work on ipad or mobile. Works on computer. I did check and de-activate other plugins for compatibility, and it seems like its a Longevity theme issue since the plugin does work with other WP theme. Does anyone have a fix for me? I have attempted to remove the word (Testimonials) from page in website.
I can not locate it to edit or delete it, when I inspect it through Inspect Elements

I tried to edit/delete this through Custom Css and I get message saying markup is not allowed in CSS.
Directly under the word Testimonials there is an — edit this post– sign when I click on it – it directs me back to edit page, I have searched through edit page and can not find any post.
The above word (Testimonials)appears on Testimonials page of my website and also the word (Services provided) appears on the Services provided page.
I have searched through previous topics but can not see any topics similar to this problem.

I am going to reference an old thread from when I was replacing the wave on an earlier site.

This site was fine until today when I replaced the image in the text widget with another based on the same file. It should have been a simple swap, part of the graphic needed updating. In place of the wave there should be an image that looks like the deckle edge on handmade paper. Instead, after replacing the banner, the deckle edge has been replaced by two grey stripes above and below the image.

I am calling for help now because my internet access is limited and I am concerned my access time will run out before I can track this down. Why did the image swap break this? And how can I fix it?

I want to turn the post-excerpt function on but it doesn’t show as an option under ‘screen options’ for posts. Is it removed on purpose for this theme?

I am new to WordPress and have created a site on my PC to play around with. I am using the longevity theme. My question is, how can i change the banner graphic to something different. i have a header image and all the pages built to my liking, the last thing is the header image

any guidance will be greatly appreciated

The content from th Call to Action and Top 1,2,3 and 4 are showing up on the main page but also on other pages that it shouldn’t be.

Updated to Longevity 1.4.8 this morning, now the 2560×720 banner width is too short, and results in grey banding on each side of the banner. Worked fine before today. Help?

My menu does not fit when the logo is on the left hand side.
how can I modify the width of the menu row safely?

On Chrome, Firefox, and Safari the site works fine. Using another theme it works fine. Using Longevity on IE all I get for any page is a blue box in the middle of the screen. Nothing else anywhere.

I have disabled the preloader for our website. But I was wondering if the preloader was powered by javascript. If it is, can the java script be completely removed? if so, which script should be deleted? Also, does a disabled preloader have any adverse effect on page speed (in theory or actuality)?
