I have the Local Business theme installed on my homepage, https://www.helionfilm.dk. I would like to edit the Tap to call button, that shows up when I’m on a phone or shrink the width of the page in the computer browser. I would like to translate the text on the button to danish. Where do I do that? The phone number my phone calls when taping the link is also wrong, even though I entered it correctly in the theme settings. – It adds 3 digits in front of my number…

Lastly, I would like to translate the text “Page navigation menu” to danish. – That also only appears in “phone mode”.. could you give a heads up where to find that?

Newbie here to WordPress. Very impressed with what it can do and all its features:).

I am totally new to website design and coding, so was wondering if anyone out there can help?

I found a nice template for my website. The template is called “Local Business Template”. My website is https://www.realhitradio.uk . Now, as you can see, I have only just started adding in my text and logos etc. But was wondering if these templates can be added to?. By this I mean, I would really like a media player at the top of the website, where it currently says “Text Us: 07”. I have a script/plugin for a media player, but are unsure how I can add it to the template, preferably at the top of the page.

Also, while I am here, as you can see on my website, I have tabs (Home, Contact Us, Listen Live and Links). As you might see, the text font is different on the Home page to the other pages. How can I change this text font?

Sorry if I am asking silly questions, but its my first time ever designing websites and using WordPress.

I choose theme that had video option on page. I was able to add the embed video when creating that pages information and all worked good. Then I created additional pages, all good so far. Then I wanted to edit the initial pages video I had placed on it. I had to go to Appearance and then customization menu which produced a marketed different area to edit. I changed the embed video in the section where it was to new embed code and it wouldn’t read the embed code, it would just place the code as text into the site. I then placed the original embed code that worked originally and it didn’t work either.

What could cause the embed code to originally work when creating the page and then when editing the customization page it doesn’t work.

Is there a way to display full text for posts on the blog page ?

Mine only show a few summary lines then a “Read More” button.

I would like to display the full text but cannot find any info on how to do it for this theme.

Is there an easy way to add the full home page “header” to all pages ?

The other pages look kind of naked without the full height header.

Perhaps just an extension on other pages to increase height.

I found the “screenshot.png” image file for it and thought I might cobble something together.

I added to top of other pages but there is a large gap between header and and duplicate image across the top of the other pages.

I created one parent page with child pages successfully and they show up on a drop down menu when you hover over the parent page link at the top of the page. I created another parent page and it shows up on the top bar but none of the child pages show up even though I did everything the exact same way as with the first one. The links do not show up anywhere. Any help?

My website is https://www.brevardfamilywellness.com- the parent page that comes up correctly is Staff. I created Services as another parent page but that is the one that is not working.

On the free version as well as the premium version (2 different domains) I continue to see an issue where all of the content in the right sidebar randomly does not display when navigating from page to page. Scroll down and the footer is no longer there either. Really annoying especially from a paid for premium theme. Happens both on Chrome and firefox so not a browser issue. Also sometimes images embedded into pages or post dont show. Just a blank spot where it should be.

Can someone please help?

How to remove the client slider on Local Business Theme?

I need help with my child theme activation and editing files.
Im doing something wrong but I cant figure what is it…

So I created local business-child in themes folder using filezila. And then created css.file with code that U can see on my uploaded picture at the bootom of this post. After that I went to my WP admin panel and activate that child theme.
But problem is when I tried to edit css file of child theme, as U can also see on my uploaded picture, its not working… Nothing changed on website..

I wanted to remove the Read More… buttons on the Home page, but couldn’t find a easy way to do it when searching Google. I found the .css code needed to accomplish this in a couple of places, but it involved creating a child page and was a little over my head.

After some further thought, I remembered a location where you could add .css to the page, and pasted in the code I found. It worked like a charm!

Hopefully this will help others who are trying to accomplish the same results.

To remove the Read More… links or buttons, just go to your Theme Options under the Appearance link on the left of the interface. Choose Styling, and past the .css code there.

The code for removing the Read More buttons is:

display:none;
}

I’m learning more & more about this every minute, but this one seemed to be tricky to do, so hopefully anyone that does a search will stumble onto this post.

I used James Staffords YouTube-video, picked Local Business and uploaded my pages. But guess what: Today, after a few weeks, almost all information on the front page suddenly disappeared. Only the title and menu remain.

And when I try to put it back, the ‘Theme Options’ now only offer me this:

“Get Local Business Theme PRO! You are Using the Lite Version of Local Business Theme. Upgrade to Pro for extra features like Inbuilt Lead Capture System at Home Page, Home Page Slider, Contact Page Template, Gallery Page Template, Multiple Color Options and much more.”

All the boxes to fill in stuff that I used before – and that are shown in Staffords video – are gone…

Is this an error, or is all my front page content ‘lost’ – and has to be put back in? I have received no warning that I have to pay for anything to use the ‘free’ version, or that I have to pay to keep my stuff there more than a few weeks…

How do I modify the footer to show the copyright symbol and word “copyright” with my company name? Do I have to modify the code in the footer in the template section? Right now, that seems like the only way to do it.

I’ve set up a category on my blog for funny images I’ve created. Each post in this category has an image but no text in the body of the post. The problem is getting each excerpt to accept an image only. I can get the excerpt to accept an image with text, as I’ve done with other categories on my blog, but not without text.

How do I correct this?

I use local business.
I configured the theme options(from the dashboard theme options)and the homepage looks OK.
Problem is that I can’t see the homepage content in any of my posts nor in any of my pages(In Settings: Reading–>Front Page Displays–>Your latest posts).
Can someone explain that please?

I have a static front page that I like but also want to have a blog page. If I make a post, I don’t know where it goes. Hi This is my first site and I spent a lot of time setting up this plugin and now that I ran a test through bing tools, It came up with 2 home page titles.
So I spent quite a bit of time looking for a solution. Inkthemes sends me to their forum, which I cant even access use unless I pay.
I did come across several post by inkthemes about similar themes having this problem. Their suggestion was usually to remove SEO by Yoast and use the “allinone” plugin instead.
However I did find one post by someone from inkthemes that offered this solution see below, but not for this exact theme.

Hi ok so this is my first site and what happened is I built every page with text pictures videos etc.Then i realized AFTER everything was done and published.My front page is still set up like a blog which I don’t want.
Now from my dashboard it only shows 4 pages published when there is actually 5 meaning my home page.Now the problem is doing my SEO for my front page.
So the question is do i really have to create a new page just to make my front page static.
I did lots of looking around before coming here.It looks like its the only option.Assuming i have to replace the header footer logo etc.what is my best bet.
