I am a neophyte at hard customization of wordpress themes.

On my first page here https://pharmasyndicate.com/ I would like everything below the call to action button to be just on my about us page https://pharmasyndicate.com/about but customized with my information. How can I get this accomplished?

The front page is a static page and shows as (no title) when linked to Facebook. Is there a way to get it to show the title of the website “Exotic Bird Club Online” instead of (no title)?

I placed a header image on all pages and do not show the title of each page or post. However, the other pages and posts show the header when linked to Facebook. Only the static front page does not.

Because of the masthead I’m using, I’d like to remove the header titles on all pages. Keeping in mind that I’m pretty new at code writing, can you tell me how to do this. Can I do this from the backend in the Editor or do I need to overwrite code using the c-panel files?

I found a code here That was supposed to allow me to swap the title for a logo. I inserted it into the css stylesheet but it has not worked. I would rather remove the title and tagline from the homepage and not put the logo there because I have a custome background that I’m trying to use that includes the logo already. How can I erase the title from the homepage?

Now that we’ve completed our “spring cleaning” with Flat Bootstrap v1.9, we’d like to get feedback from all of you as to what our priorities should be moving forward as well as specific requests for features and enhancements.

Of course, I have ideas and will share some here, but would like to understand what is most important to our community. Should we focus on releasing new themes, enhancing the ones we already have, making it easier to load up “demo site” content, or making it easier to add cool content? Of course we want to do all of those things, but am looking for help in prioritizing them and for specific suggestions that are important to you.

Searching for “Link” or “XtremelySocial” does not result in this theme appearing in the results when searching from within the WordPress theme installer. No idea why but it might be worth looking into ??

For whatever reason my top right menu bar is not working. When I click on it, it does not drop down the different pages or categories that I have, please help.

I apologize if this is an easy question. I want to use your theme but do not want it to have the “Leave a comment” section on any of the pages. How do I turn that off? I have tried to create a page many ways but it always shows-up.

I’m using the Link theme and I like it a lot. Today after the recommended update to version 1.1. the site I’ve created in the version 1.0. doesn’t work properly any more. There are problems with setting the header image (no response). The headers of the pages are showing … the titles of the featured images instead of the page titles.
Does anybody have the same problems with 1.1. version and is there a way to restore the 1.0. version? Or how to repair the errors of 1.1.?

When I try to create a ‘Link-Child’ Theme , i got an error message in my wordpress admin panel saying that theme is broken , the parent theme “Link” is missing and install the parent theme “Link”.
I don’t understand what is wrong because the parent theme is ‘Link’ and it is already installed and is activated for the moment.

Why a child theme ?

For example, i added functions in function.php, modified a bit style.css.
I don’t want my customization to be erased by the new versions 1.1 of Link and 1.4.2 of flat-bootstrap.
So, before upgrading Link Theme to version 1.1 and Flat Bootstrap Theme to version 1.4.2, I decided to create a folder called ‘link-child’ for child Theme in the same wordpress directory wp-content/themes where ‘link’ directory and ‘flat-bootstrap’ folders are located.

I created the following style.css in the ‘link-child’ folder :

Description: Link theme child
Author: Me

I know it’s easy to choose a static page and display it in the theme. However, I would like to add multiple pages, some with the sidebar and some without.

I’ve tried the following code but it breaks the theme.

Hi – First, I’m a huge fan of your work! You’ve allowed me to learn so much more about bootstrap and PHP by not making your theme cookie cutter and open it up to easily allow someone to customize and build a unique site leveraging your product as the framework. Thank you.

One area I am having some difficulty is with removing the header text (Site name/tagline) from the header area of the homepage. I am uploading an image with static text for JUST the homepage header, so need to remove the existing text that appears. I do NOT need to remove it though from the header of the internal pages.

I’ve searched through every possible PHP file looking for ways to hide or remove, but am hitting a dead end. Any support you can provide is greatly appreciated!

Also, this might be a bit more complex, but looking to add a logo image to the top left of the header. I could make static in the header image file, but then it would look too small on mobile. Is there a bit of code you could provide that would help allow for this?

I’m trying to set up a new website using your theme. The theme looks really great, and I feel it will suit my site. However, I can’t understand how should I customize it.
There are no theme options showing up. All I can see is customize, header and background options under the appearance tab.
How should I remove Google maps and the address section near the bottom. I don’t have to give any testimonials either. How do I edit the call to action section?

Hello, I am looking for some help in where I can change the colors of text and search button for this theme, along with the headers in another page/post.

For example, on this page I’d like to be able to change the color of the header, the hyperlinks, and the buttons. I can’t seem to find where to change the colors in the editor.

Also, when you originally load the main page, sometimes there is a big flash of the green color that is throughout this theme, if you don’t see it initially try refreshing the pages a couple times and you’ll see it. How would I go about changing that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I’ve been looking around for probably an hour now and I feel pretty stupid.

Hi, I feel like i’m being a right idiot but how do I edit the fields at the bottom of the page like: ‘THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION AREA’, ‘SOME OF OUR AWESOME CLIENTS’, ‘Stay Connected’ and the map section? By edit I mean change them to say something specific to my website and not these general terms.

Haven’t been able to locate where the CSS for the search or pagination buttons. Want to change the background color from the teal, or greenish, color they have now to something else.

Please, where can I change the content of the Header Menu? I cannot see it in the Menu’s section, where I create new menus. That one is not there, and I cannot find it.

I would like to add the subpages onto it, not only the parent pages ?? That is why.
