Hi. I think this is an easy one, but I’m stumped.
In my “Lifestyle” themed site, my banner across the top (“Jeffrey Broome”) appears in a burgundy color on my “news/updates” page (https://jeffreybroome.com/blog-or-news-or-updates/)
On every other page, “Jeffrey Broome” appears in black font:
a) https://jeffreybroome.com
b) https://jeffreybroome.com/scholarly-publications/
c) https://jeffreybroome.com/curriculum-vitae-2/
etc. etc.
How can I get my “news/updates” page to appear in black too?
Thanks so much for the time and attention. ??
Hello, How I can make my blog page centered? Now full width, just to be centered, not on the left side?
Thank you very much. ??
]]>Hello,
I am wondering if someone can help me with three issues I am having with www.remarpro.com as I am pretty new to this: I am using the lifestyle press theme. Even any help with one of the below would be useful. Much appreciated.
1: Is there a piece of code that will allow me to shift my logo at the top of the page over to the left so that it is more in line with the text on my landing page? I have tried entering the code suggested in an older thread, but it did not work.
2: Is there a piece of code I can use that will allow me to tidy up the logo a bit by perhaps getting rid of the border around it?
3: Finally, on my landing page, is there a piece of code that will allow me to close the gap between the title ‘Need a Writer?’ and the blurb below? Basically, I want to bring the blurb up a bit but I can’t seem to do this in the page editor function on WordPress.
]]>Hi, On the lifestyle theme, how can I move the comment section to the bottom of posts instead of having a “leave comment” link at top after the title. I want the full comment section to be displayed at the bottom of each post, please assist.
]]>Hi all —
Am helping my wife with her blog at the above address. The tagline shows up just below the top banner and nav menu, “Protecting Lifelong Earnings… Creating Your Next Act”.
While the tagline shows up just fine but there is a broken image icon/symbol on the left of it. I cannot figure out where that comes from. Under Customize…Branding, the Site Title and Tagline are entered, and there is “No image selected” for the logo. Adding an extant image does not change the situation.
Would love some idea as to how to make this go away. It definitely looks unprofessional.

]]>Hi. I’m new to WordPress and have a lot to learn. I used the Lifestyle theme to make my own simple website for my Florida vacation rental. When viewing the site on my phone, I get the 3 bar navigation icon which opens radio buttons for my pages. Two questions – I get a Navigation radio button on top which seems redundant. Also, if I select a radio button for a page, it goes to that page automatically, so why am I being offered a ‘Done’ button as well?
Thanks much for any help on the above and any other improvements I might make on my site?
]]>Hi
I just upgraded to the latest version of WordPress and somehow picked up a secondary sidebar in my Lifestyle Theme. I have looked around on the forum and found that the Lifestyle Theme has been discontinued as it is not compatible with mobile devices. While I am looking for a new theme to install is there any way I can get the secondary sidebar removed. Thanks if you can help.
You can see the problem here – Cannon Electrical Supplies.

]]>I’m using the Lifestyle Minimalist WordPress theme, version 0.2.0. All of the pages headers are black with the exception of the blog page’s header which is red. I’d like for all of the page headers to be red. I’ve sent several messages to the themes developer but I haven’t received any response. As a matter of fact I haven’t seen any posts since July 2016. Can anyone instruct me how to make this change? Thanks [email protected]
]]>First, thanks for a great theme, which comes very close to exactly what we’re looking for!
However, there are a few adjustments I would like to make… but after hours of playing with the style.css in vain, I am here.
I would like to
1. Superimpose and center the title over the header image instead of having it above it
2. Move the menu just below the header image.
I was sort of able to accomplish #2 using something like top: 25vw; which kind of works on smaller windows, but as the window is resized to larger sizes and the header image reaches its full size, the menu will continue to move until the window itself is maximized. Not sure how to remedy this.
Any and all help is welcomed and appreciated! Thanks!
]]>Can anyone help. I have added a header image to my homepage within Theme > Customise > Header. It’s been displaying fine and has suddenly disappeared. However if I go into the customise settings it’s still there? What’s going on?
]]>I just noticed an ugly black drop down menu underneath my regular menu.
Does anyone know how I can remove it?
Hello,
Is there any way to reduce the size of the Header image in the Lifestyle theme as it
somewhat overwhelms my page, yet I really do like the theme itself?
Thanks
]]>Hello,
I was looking at my Menu in Lifestyle theme and noticed neither the email nor telephone links function as desired. Looking into this further I noticed that the menu settings when an item is added override the href and tel with http:.
Is their any way I can edit this directly or do something else to alleviate this and if so what file would I need edit?
Thanks
Wendy
]]>Using the wordpress theme Lifestyle, I removed the pagination at the bottom of the site and added Next/Previous links using the following CSS code in functions.php
function lifestyle_post_nav() {
the_post_navigation( array(
‘prev_text’ => ‘? Previous’,
‘next_text’ => ‘Next ?’
) );
}
add_action( ‘omega_before_content’, ‘lifestyle_post_nav’ );
add_action( ‘omega_after_loop’, ‘lifestyle_post_nav’ );
Everything works as I wanted it to, except when you click on a category, and then click “Previous”, it takes you to the previous post on the site – not the previous post in that category. Is there any way to change that so clicking “Previous” would take you to the previous post in that category?

]]>Hi
currently my website seems to be just centred in the middle of the internet page with margins down the side and I am only able to add so many menu items before it puts them onto two lines.
Is there a way to make it so that the theme takes up the whole of the browser window with no margins so that I can move my logo and menu accross to the left of the window.
Hope this makes some sort of sense any help is appreciated
]]>Hi, hopefully someone can help me. I updated my theme the other day and now the page titles don’t only show in the menu, they’ve just appeared above the text on each page as well. You can see here:https://michaelamclellan.com/ click on any page in the menu and you will see the title repeated above whatever text I have on that page. Bizarre, I’ve had this site for a year and haven’t had any problems until now.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.
Hi all
I would like to know if it is possible, and if so how I need to proceed, to make the part of my blog where the blogname is placed… transparent so I can place an image there which is partly transparant…
So from desription on to the bottom, the background needs to stay white
Thank you in advance

]]>1. How do one add extra text to the Copyright footer?

3. Is it possible to have less space at the top and the bottom of the “Footer 1”?
The margin and/or padding is a bit much.
Hi,
how do I align the logo (image) to the left?
Now it is set to be aligned to the middle.
Can this be done with CSS?
]]>Hi,
Forgive me if this is a beginner question.
Here is the website in question: https://mirador.cathywu.com/2016/11/09/solo-female-trekking-with-a-40l-pack-las-torres-del-paine-w-trek/
I am using the lifestyle child theme and want to close the huge gap between my inserted images and text. I believe it is in the image margins here that I need to change:
img.centered,
.aligncenter {
display: block;
margin: 0 auto 24px;
}
However, when I change it to 0px, nothing happens to my site. I changed other things and no changes show up. I even erased the entire CSS stylesheet to see what would happen… and my site remained intact.
How can I make the changes in the CSS stylesheet show up in my site? I am editing it from appearance -> editor in WordPress with the lifestyle theme selected.
Thank you for any help!

]]>Hi, I want my static pages like “about”, “contact”, etc., to not show the titles on my blog at https://kimmcdougal.com.
I tried this code:
.entry-title {
display: none;
}
but, it hides the blog post titles too which I don’t want. Is there any way to hide the page titles, but keep the blog titles?
Thanks for helping!
